I have an A6+ Live demo unit with faulty software on it, i think a combination rom or similar. How can i restore the original retail demo. I searched the forum and the web but all i can find is people who want to remove it. I'd like to restore it if someone can help.

I've just downloaded the latest ROM BIOS upgrade for my XDA2i (Xda_IIi_Upgrade_v111169) at the UK's O2 website which includes some Blueberry things I believe - but haven't checked yet. :?:
I think I may have found a small glitch if anyone can help. :?
The glitch is in Windows Media Player 10, as setup by a clean reinstall.
When I click on WMP10, it does not display a 'file open' option.
The 'file open' icon is 'greyed out' and only the icon which connects to Windows Media.com on the Internet works.
As usual I can double click on some media files (eg wmf, AVI) in File Explorer and have them open in WMP10 as expected, - but I wonder does anyone have a fix so I can make it work by opening files in WMP10 in the normal way?
Although I don't use WMP10 a lot, and prefer others, I would like to get it going because I believe it is cludgy or difficult to remove.
But I may be wrong....What do others think ?

I'm not an expert so my reply may not be accurate!
I rang up O2 and asked whether my XDA would work in Asian countries, and they said yes. (after ensuring my contract gave me access to international calls)
I asked whether it would still work with the upgrade, they said yes.
More than that I don't know. My approach would be backup everything, and then be able to install whichever works there.
If that's not what you meant, then maybe someone else can help.
wat is the improvement they provided inside this new ROM? i live in singapore, can somebody tell me is this can be use in asia?

I have down load this ROM and update to my PPC. But the Radio was v1.00.00 instead of my old version is v1.00.3. Finally I back to old vertion.
The new 02 upgrade only seems to have the Blackberry upgrade? Does anyone know if it contains any further fixes and if it does how can I upgrade the Radio portion to1.03, like the previous cooked 02 ROM?

Found one answer, not possible to update to v1.03 radio, doesn't seem to work with new 02 ROM, I wonder if that is why 02 did not update radio themselves?

I recently purchased a Tattoo on Newegg.com. Little did I know the the ROM it came with did not allow access to the Android Marketplace among other things. I have searched through the forums and have seen the WWE update that sounds like it would work. The only issue is I am a newbie to Android and my home pc sucks. Is there a service online or someone I can send it to to have it upgraded? I wish my pc at home worked a little better or I had the time to figure it out myself but I dont. Thanks and HELP!!!!!!!!!

What do you mean your home PC sucks? There's nothing very heavy on your PC to be done.

What do you mean that Indian Tattoo doesn't allow access to the Market, I'm using one for 6 months now and can access the Market from day one. No updates no patches nothing, stock ROM, no root, no flavours. There should be a Market icon in your Menu, post a screenshot if you don't have one, they're arranged alphabetically so just post where M should be and let me see if there is no Market installed.

im from india too(2month old new tattoo) and i have been having the same problem i was never able to acess market ie to explain when u connect to the net u get the E and the arrows in white when u are connecting but when i try to get into market using my google id this does not happen i kinda gave up on the same

iv came to those forums few days ago, after my HTC Mozart wn7 device had some bad days, that ended in reset to factory settings. Iv been using it as ebook reader for 4 or 5 years now, and it works very well that way for me. Or used to. After reset to factory settings iv been unable to download anything from ms store, and of there is no sup for wp7 for ages now, so after some tries iv managed to root it, and get custom rom on it, in hope i will be able to install apps outside of ms store. But new problem arise, thats not exacly one iv forseen, there is no XAP files i could have found with any ebook readers apps iv heard about to be found anywhere. All links are dead. Iv been trying to contact Legimi and Freda devs, but they dont rly replay to emails, so iv decided to post that topic in that, long dead, section of forum, in hope maybe someone will be able to help me. Im looking for XAP file of any ebook reader app for wn7 phone, Legimi, Freeda, Tiny Ebook Reader or any other. as far i know, none of those was paid app, so it should not be any form of piracy, its probably a bit against ms store rules, but its not like its my dicision to go against their policy, they decided to end support, not me. I would be very greatfull for any help on that matter! Thank you in advance.

ps2. its not problem with authorization thats preventing me from installing from ms store, its d000f001 error, that doesn't seem to have any way of solving.
EDIT: thanks to kindness of Freda developer, iv got working XAP of his app. Problem kind of solved, if anyone needs it i can provide.
