Live focus photo missing "save as new file" option - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

As per the subject, I just noticed that once Live Focus photo is taken and later background effect is changed in gallery there is no option to save the adjusted photo as new file.
Live focus files are 8-18mb in size and once you select the right background effect and save as new file you have regular jpg at 3-5mb. So this is important option.
Wondering if anyone else is having the same. All apps updated. I still have this option on my S9+ so not sure if this intentional or some latest update bug on S10
Any suggestions?
Thanks

After ICS: Stock cam darkens the picture

Hi there,
I noticed that after you take a picture it's perfectly fine for a second but after that the software somewhat darkens the picture and it's way too dark. You have to manually change it for every picture via the photo editor but really, that's not something I wanna do. Any idea? is this a new bug?
Ive noticed that too. It's weird.
For example. When you take a picture outdoors with factory settings and changing the "Outdoor Visibility" option to on. The image on the screen is amazing (the object youre Shooting) but when you take the picture. It's dark.

Any solution to that?

[Q] How to select multiple photos for Live Wallpaper photo album

Hi there
Got my Z3c on Saturday and am trying to figure out how to select multiple photos to add to the Live Wallpaper photo album. I expected to be able to long press a photo and see a tick mark but it seems I would need to add them all individually. Am I missing something? None of the menu options seem to indicate multi-select
In the Google Photos app I can multi-select, but not when I use that as the source for photos for the live wallpaper. Same situation with the ALBUM app.
Any help appreciated!

Droid Turbo Picture File Size

Is there any way to change the megapixel setting the camera shoots? Some of the pictures I take could have smaller file sizes.
When you open the camera app open the settings by placing your finger on the left side of the screen and drag it to the right. Then you will see the settings menu and select the rectangle with the L to chose from widescreen (15.5mp) or Standard (21mp). Those are the only options I am aware of with the stock camera app. The Lenovo one mentioned here is much better. I use version 3.6.7 with the call/sms/contact etc permissions and the popup and the QR-scanner removed This is a good explanation of the different sizes.

camera app changed?

Something happened to my camera app, not exactly sure when. The desktop icon changed. And it is no longer linked to google photos... also in google photos I don't find a setting to add a direct connection. So maybe google photos changed (also)? Can someone confirm or explain this? Am I missing something? Swiping to the left used to get me into google photos and review pictures right after they were taken. Now swiping just moves between mode selection, camera and video. I am running Oreo 8.0 Feb.1 patch on a rooted US AndroidOne X4
The camera app just updated.
And now it no longer couples to google photos? That's some improvement...
there is some problem in video recording mode for 1080p60fps
normal and wide angle icons works in opposite way
if u press on wide angle icon, u get narrow field of view
and if u press normal icon, u get a little wide field of view

Photo editor pro is missing on android Pie

Hi
I just updated my Note 9 with android Pie and my favourite function for editing photos is missing now.On oreo I had the option in photo editor to add another picture to my actual photo when I wanted to edit...now this editor doesn't have this function to insert a picture to the actual photo ...Is anything missing here, or is just me?
I Still have the option to add another photo in a photo. In Samsung Galary edit the picture, pick to add a sticker and choose your second picture.
Thank you..I thought they removed this option.
Photo editor pro
You can add only stickers but no photo from gallery;( Anybody knows how to fix that????
Its ridiculous. I was hoping this was because I was on pie beta. Apparently not. They keep cutting little tweaks and features here and there.

Choice the calendar Icon after your choice the stickers menu
The new Photo editor sucks. No blurr function anymore. Inserting pics was easy before and had a lot of tweaking options. Now.. we have stickers.. Note 9 is not a phone for children.. the new photo editor affects my business. I must now edit pics with a third party software. Thank you Sammy.

People need to make noise over at Samsung fourms or direct msg Samsung via members app! ONE UI PIE 9 has taken away so much.. it's a becoming a joke!
Great... I thought i wasn't going mad, just really disappointed it's gone, it was extremely useful.
Option is not gone, just hidden.
You just need to go under stickers. On the default page by the calenders and such there's one that looks like a white square with rounded corners. Choosing that will open the gallery and allow you to insert an image.
Why we dont have an assist to prevent rotate images and stickers while scaling them. They always rotate!
Where is this "calendar" icon in stickers? I'm not finding it on my note 9
this update sucks, does anyone know how to adjust the "Effect" like "cartoon there use to be an adjusting sliding bar....I don't have it anymore Please help..this is so confusing and messing up my editing
Thank you guys for helping me find out how to do the photo-in-photo edit! In photo editor pro, where that function used to be, there used to be an option to add Covers- which are blurred/censored effects for thing you wants covered- anyone know if that was hidden and accessible as well or completely removed like a lot of features
I'm using a Samsung note 8
edit it's actually missing some pro features
I just updated today my self and I was searching for photo editor pro for ages, It's actually still there when you view the picture it's self you'll see a little pencil symbol second from the left on the bottom of the screen all of the pro features are there for you to use.
They could of told us though.
Thanks guys, I managed to locate it. I was also going crazy about that as I struggled after upgrading to Pie.
Android Pie Gallery: I've found Photo Editor Pro!
Sorry - but the photo-editor Pro features are NOT all there - e.g. Where is the "Advanced" button with the feature I used so often, i.e. "Backlight"?? Can't find it...
Correction: EUREKA - I found it!!
with a picture open, click the Pencil-symbol and THEN the three dots at the top right where you have the items "Portrait / Point color / Advanced. Tap "Advanced" and there we go -EVERYTHING that was under Oreo.
So the difference is that the three dots when you open the picture do not offer the editor pro, but AFTER tapping the pencil you get another three-dots menu, where you find the functions . In essence: it's just ONE step more than before - I can live with that )
Complete happiness!
Seems like a serious drill down... But at least it's there! Cheers
I can't find these options that I have circled. The 'covers' doesn't seem to be anywhere, and you can't toggle an image that is inserted as you could before, you can only make it bigger and smaller and move it around, more basic than before. Uff!
