SO I'm from the states and on T Mobile. My Xperia is just normal running on 6.1.
The problem is everytime i try sending pictures via text, the person i send them to would say they are too small. I don't compress them after taking them with the camera either. Also, when i receive picture texts, the pictures are also small. I would say that both times, the pictures are only about 3/4".
Has anybody experienced this before and is there a fix to this problem?
I've tried changing picture quality and such but no luck.
Hello, During a call and while listening to a voice message in Wattsap, a white pixel blinks next to the front camera while the screen is on.
Is that a problem or have more people got it?
Maybe it's normal?
Thanks

That's is intended for the notification light I have been hearing people want to activate it.
it's in display notification light.
Can you guys share a photo of it? if possible.
cant be screen captured because i tried 100s times but all captures came without that mark which gave me indication it could be hardware problem!!
Same here. Some people say that indicator is proximity sensor. If you cover just that blinking pixel with a sharp pointed thing (knife etc.), you will see the screen goes black.

I don't think so because you will not see it in incoming call, it is only for outgoing calls!!

I'm wondering if that's across all the models?
it's also on the plus models....
I also have noticed this issue on the s10+ model
it occurs when making a call or receiving a call (normal phone calls, whatsapp calls)
during a call, if it is switch to speaker phone, it stops blinking.
during a call, if i cover that blinking pixel with a narrow strip of paper the screen will go black (as if the phone was next to the face during a call)

It could be the proximity sensor. If i remember correctly ,in JerryRigEverything's video he showed there are sensors behind the display which also have some cutouts. I could be wrong...
I see, well that dot coming up looks SUPER ****ing irritating. I pre-order the S10+ have not got mine early like my brother did and others have, I hope there is way to get rid of the ****ing light tho like honestly...
A proximity sensor would be around that area but why does it light up white like an actual dot?
My two cents would have been the proximity sensor would be in the middle of the front cam notch where cuts out already exists.
Hey there,
If i want to switch to another app during a video call (in facebook messenger), the face camera turns off and back inside the mobile.
It was not happening with my previous phone, i mean the camera was still running whenever i was switching on another app during the call so my friend could continue to see me.
Is there any way to fix this issue ?
Thanks.

So I've been running an S21U (Exynos) for just over a week now, and I can't get past an odd issue which I'm assuming is related to the phone somehow.
Whenever I make or receive a WhatsApp video call, after about 1 minute the video and audio go out of sync (on the main screen - the picture in picture small display is ok). It doesn't matter who I call, I've reinstalled WhatsApp, and I even got my S10+ out of the cupboard and made a video call on that (same network) and that was fine.
Anyone else experiencing similar or have any ideas? I'm more than willing to be told I'm an idiot and for it to be something obvious!
**Thinking about it, my phone gets pretty hot when video calling. Could it be thermal throttling that causes this?

What's RAM+CPU usage like during this?
When I try to switch into back camera while in the video call in WhatsApp the app freezes and it crashes after some time. And on the other side it says "Poor connection. Paused video". This only happens in whatsapp. In other apps the back camera works fine. I've tried everything but nothing worked. I'm on pixel experience 11 (plus edition). Can anybody help?
