I ventured to try installing Magisk again after a long time without a rooted phone. Unfortunately, despite a new Android version (10) and Magisk version (20.4), I'm still having the exact same problem: the camera app gets replaced with a gray CC icon and won't launch.

I saw fixing the build.prop permissions worked for some people, but didn't fix it for me.
Apparently this is just a problem with the camera APK and not the whole camera API, since the Gcam port seems to work. Even so, I'd prefer the Oneplus camera app. Any idea how to get it back? Any other information I can provide to diagnose the problem?
Dont have a OnePlus phone but seems like this module does the job:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum....eplus-camera-jpg-quality-to-100-t3714595/amp/
Give it a try. Like I said, I don't have a OnePlus device so cant test it, a simple Google search made that module pop-up

Hey everyone, I've just rooted my phone w/ magisk. My Galaxy S10(Exynos) currently running on "Rooted Android 11 and latest stock rom downloaded with frija".
I've found a mod and installed module w magisk. The module lets camera have minumum jpeg compression on your stock camera app(%92-%100 ZeroCamera Mod) but apparently it looks like the project is abandoned and does not supports android 11. Then I removed the module to get my stock camera back but after that it broke. How can I fix this problem? I've downloaded the stock camera but I can't install the apk. Its giving the app not installed error.

Hi!
I have used mi9t pro. Previous owner installed mi9t's rear dual camera module (what seems from photos, it's full white metal as oposed to more black parts on pro's)

9t has IMX582 and 9tpro has IMX586
I guess it's the reason phone can't work with these cameras, saying "camera list don't match" and "can't connect to camera"
Is there a way to make phone recognize those cameras by making it think, mi9t's cameras are its own? May be by fixing some configs and/or giving phone right "driver" files? Giving it alternative "camera list" seems reasonable, this damn "list" is stored somewhere, am not i correct?
Phone is rooted.
bump?
Hello guys!
I purchased my find x3 pro 5g, 3 weeks ago.
One week ago my microscope camera isn't working:
When I enter microscope mode, it's filming from the regular camera and the regular flashlight instead of the ring light.
I tried to reboot, clear data and force stop. No system update available.
Please help

Hi!
I am facing exact the same issue on my Oppo Find Pro. Contacted Oppo support without any luck. Rebooted, re-install, hard reset. Nothing helped.
Did you achieve anything?
Hello everyone. No rom or anything similar has been thrown into my device. When I install Gcam or a different camera application, I cannot change the camera in the default applications. What should I do in this case?

Yeah same here, I saw a video where some person changed his default camera from Xiaomi camera to open camera (in some other device with MIUI), but when i downloaded open camera and checked this default camera settings page it didnt even show Gcam or open camera.
So possibly this is a bug from xiaomi's side.
My WIFI network is fine and all other apps on my S23 works properly but only this one app can't use WLAN network. It seems to have been blocked somehow and I don't know how to unblock it. I looked every everywhere and can't find a fix. This app is developed by myself and is important to me. The app name is Luo Note. It works properly on my other android devices and only has this problem on my newly purchased S23. Here is a shot of the toast message of the system when I open this app:

No, I reinstalled the app and the block is gone. It's all good now. Never happened before, must be something new. I guess it's Samsung not android, Smart manager maybe but I can't find the setting.
