Mhm... but as his recovery mode access is blocked, I doubt if he will be able to access the download mode as well...
@OP: if you will be able to go to download mode - apply the Bhuvan's advice. If not - last resort - buy jig on eBay...
Spamtrash I d think that the op knows the correct way to access recovery. And why he wont be able to access recovery, pattern lock is not related to recovery. Pls guide him to acces recovery and download mode, I am busy sorry.

Recovery = Volume Up + Home + Power
Download = Volume Down + Home + Power
If your phone is off, hold down those buttons as you would the power button to boot the phone into the appropriate mode. If your phone is on, hold down those buttons for ~10 seconds to reboot your phone into that mode (likewise, holding down just the power button for ~10 seconds will reboot the phone while it's running).
Regardless of whether or not the phone is locked (pattern, pin, anything), you should be able to access these modes. If you can get your phone into download mode, you can flash whatever ROM you want with Odin, stock or custom—and this will replace the entire firmware, which will reset the lock. However, I would not recommend flashing a ROM if you cannot get your phone into download mode, or you risk bricking your device.
If ur recovery is working then their is wipe data/ factory reset option in samsung's recivery too. Try that.

Guys, thanks so much for your time ! I have tried all most every method you guys suggested me. but no good luck !
I know a dude who can do this soft of issues, but not for free (LOL)
First he told that the pattern can be unlocked. When I reached him to get it done. he told that it is going to take long time and its much better to flash new rom 2.3.4 where all my data will be gone. I agreed and what he did is
My phone was not going to download mode with the 3buttons shortcuts as upichie told. he connected a USB pin to my phone and used 3 button shortcuts to go into download mode. from download mode he flashed my phone to latest version 2.3.4.
This is how my issue ended ! you know what's the funny thing in this ? he download every thing from XDA !! HE HE !! LOL !!
Thanks again for all who ever replied and tried to solve my issue !

For future reference, it sounds like he used a USB JIG to get the phone into download mode, in case you need to find information about that on a later date.
Have fun with your phone!

Hello
I`ve got this phone from my girl with i tought simple issue, phone have screen lock, what she forgot.. Hard reset shoud fix this, but there is a problem because i can`t turn phone on recovery mode (pwr+up+home) to do this, also download mode is blocked to pull new soft. Well i bought Jig USB (unbrick) and it works, on phone show android download mode and I upgrade soft from 4.3 to 4.4.4 official ,from samsung mobile site using odin 3.10. After successful flash, brand logo disapear but password is still active. Tough i try again but right now download mode looks difrent:
Factory mode
Product name : gt-i9305
Custom binary download: no
Current binary: Samsung Official
System status: Official
Secure download: Enabled
Knox Warranty Void: 0
Ap swaev: A3
Phone is detected by windows and odin when i turn it on, but when i start download mode nothing happend like cable was unplugged. Don`t know what to do now, there is any chance to save this phone ?

Can you give me a little bit more detail on "I can't enter to recovery mode" because it seems to be an unusual problem.

There is no react if i use Volume Up + Home + PWU or Volume Down + Home + PWR like bootloader was blocked or something like that. Can enter download mode only when i use JTAG USB plug, but now seems usb debug mode is blocked in phone too..
Well you can try in download mode to downgrade to 4.0.4 or 4.1.2 and then try recovery or download mode

No mean as in bootloader unlocked and can flash factory images
pratchaya, when you start your N6, do you see at the bottom of the screen a picture of a padlock with the lock open on one side?
1. Go here, https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
2. Download this, https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/shamu-nbd90z-factory-92e7bb05.zip
3. Power off phone, hold down power+volume down, boot into bootloader
4. Extract contents of zip to your computer
5. Flash fresh install of Android on your phone
Actually do this instead now that i've thought about it.
1. Go here, http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
2. Download the latest version of Nexus Root Toolkit (v2.1.9 as of writing this)
3. Install onto your PC
4. Use NRT to Flash Stock + Unroot
I use NRT all the time when wanting to flash beta images from Google. Never had an issue with it.

That's what I was gonna tell him, but it won't work if his bootloader is locked, or if he could just flash the recovery through fastboot and side load the OTA from there

Maybe i don't know this just because my bootloader has been unlocked since the day i got my phone.
But i would imagine that google's STOCK image would be flashable, even with a locked bootloader...
But if it's not, then that sucks.
But NRT has the option to Root+Recovery from the fastboot/bootloader...But once again, not sure if you need to be bootloader unlocked before that will work.
I guess you have nothing to lose trying and seeing what happens.
If he holds down the three button salute, it will take him to the bootloader where he can run fastboot OEM unlock to unlock his device then flash just as long he has unlockable in developers settings checked.

Hi, I don't know about bootloader lock or unlock.
But I'm a normal user , just use my nexus as normal user ( original from factory + update + upgrade + reset sometime ).
Is this mean bootloader lock ? sir.

Hi, I can't see any picture except these photos.
Well, that's puzzling. I've just restarted my N6 to be sure of my facts, and there is clearly a screen before the four dancing icons you show in your first picture. The very first thing that the phone shows on boot is a pure black screen with "Google" in big white letters in the centre, with (on my unlocked phone) the picture of an unlocked padlock at the bottom.
Are you saying that you don't see this?
=============
And while we wait for the answer to the question above, please try this:
- Power off the Nexus 6 completely.
- Next, press and hold Volume Down, Volume Up and Power simultaneously – don’t release the buttons until Fastboot Mode menu appears.
Note that this is not what you've already tried - this should get you into Bootloader mode, whereas you described the Recovery procedure in your first post. Does this procedure get you any screen? If so, please describe what you see.
(Further edit: just noticed that biggiesmalls657 suggested this on the first page, but I think that pratchaya appears too inexperienced to know what you suggested).

You guys are incorrect
This isn't possible unless the ROM starts and he can check OEM unlock in the developer options
And he can flash the OTA file with a locked bootloader but he has to have a working recovery
Have you tried a Hard Factory Reset?

I just said that!
Edit: Did you notice force closes before all this happened? Lots of force closes when doing a factory data reset sometimes means it's hardware with the internal storage. If you can't boot into Android to check OEM unlock button and fastboot doesn't allow you to flash while locked then I am not sure then.

Hi,
I hv already try this method . but nothing happen on my nexus .
( press and hold Volume Down, Volume Up and Power simultaneously more than 20 min. and nothing show , still dark screen )
Actually I try this method at day one that my nexus dead.
So recently I was about to make the move to Lineage OS, away from OneUI, but my S10 was on ASF3 (June Patch). So my solution to try and skip past it all, was to goto Odin and flash the TWRP file via there (BIG MISTAKE). Anyways, I am now bootlooped and my phone no longer goes to download mode or recovery. I have seen other threads similar to this but their solutions haven't worked, so if anyone can help me, it would be very appreciated.
Yes, same happened to me yesterday. Press volume down + bixby while connecting to a PC - you'll jump into download mode.
Fairly difficult to brick a Samsung phone unless you don't flash the right firmware
Just do what the person said above and you'd be good to go.
Do exactly what the guy said

After unlocking bootloader and damnd twrp bootloop, downlad mode were not been possible ....
After battery drain and usb plugin as in download mode ...
After this i just came to unlock bootloader, after unlocking (has allready been unlocked) went to DL mode. Great ...
It's $400 from T-Mobile as revvl 5G
Let's the fun begin
I bought it....For the most part I am not having any issues with it. It is fast. Although the Smart Manager is pissing me off, it keeps killing the alarm app I use no matter what settings that I set to try to keep the app from shutting down in the background.
It seems to be OK, but bootloader is not here so I don't know how to unlock it.
Press volume down and turn it on boots directly into system
Press volume up and it goes to recovery
Press and hold volume and down, and connect to host PC will get a prompt to enter download mode (PC does not detect it)
I have no clue how to root it

EDL is accessible (by either holding down volume + and - or adb reboot edl). But without firehose or ROM, I'm not sure how useful that's going to be :/
The phone has decent hardware.
If the bootloader can be unlocked and gained community support, the phone can be a monster
