Hi, I am new on this forum. So let me known if I used wrong thread I hope I made all fine.
I have problem with my xiaomi mi a2 (mi 6X). I've changed display, because it was broken ( fell out my pocket).
After I've changed display ( screen with digitalizer and frame) it stop working ( no reaction on any touch).
Old broken display was working, before I've changed it to new one.
Now, old and new display does not react on any touch. I've tried few new displays and results are always the same.
I've tried also:
- phone restart,
- factory reset,
- flash new orom,
All above actions does not help. What can I do more?

Hello,
my Redmi 4x display stopped working after I had it in my back pocket whilst riding my bike. Display did still work but I couldn't use it anymore. Now I changed the display unit but the problem is still there, display lights up and shows me my background but then I can't use it. Also when I go to recovery mode I cant select anything and there is chinese and a lot of times the word fail.
Uploaded a picture of it here: ibb.co/fHTVPW9
Thanks in advance for any help.
Greetings
Alex
Did you test new replacement display before installing it, if it is working properly? it could be faulty display or maybe loose connection of digitizer flex cable.
Hello fellow users,
I have the Chinese version of the Reno, the PCAM00. One night I dropped the phone on the stairs, taking some real damage to the back panel and to the display. The LCD cracked, but the touch panel stayed in one piece . I replaced the screen by myself, I did a lot of screen replacements for other phones until now. Now I got this issue: the fingerprint sensor is not recognized anymore; I opened the phone again to be sure that I connected the under screen camera, all was in good order. After this re check, trying to set up at least one security check- except the password- because the phone is quite big and a 6 char password can be seen by near people, I tried to set up the face unlock. Still nothing, when I try to enroll a new face, the camera pops up and quickly retracts saying just "Sorry. Unable to enroll. Please retry." . The phone has this function, I enabled it in the past, but because is quite awkward to have the camera moving every time you unlock the phone, I disabled it.
Is it possible that the security functions are disabled by software? Have anyone encountered this issue? Is there a fix to it?
Note: I bought the display from aliexpress and the product description was "Original M&Sen 6.4" For Oppo Reno AMOLED LCD Display Screen+Touch Panel Screen Digitizer For OPPO Reno Display"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi all,
Last week I dropped my mi 9t pro, and broke the screen. Touch was there but no display (it turned black). Had it replace (pretty expensive, the shop keeper says it's original), but to my surprise the finger print scanner doesn't recognize my finger print.
What I have already attended:
- rebooting
- deleting finger scans and rescanning (it seems to scan but fails to recognize)
- deleting cache
- fast reboot
- from kernel reclaibrating, it seems to recalibrate but doesn't recognize
- hard reset
But no luck at all. Please help.
Recently I replaced my redmi note 8 screen as it was damaged but after the new one was replaced I have this problem when every time I want to unlock my phone there are only some color lines and I have to on and off the screen several times for it to finally show my lock-screen
Ia there anything I can do so the screen turn on good every time?
Go back to the shop and tell them to fix it.
