hey everyone
I have created a custom rom for you guys that you can flash using ODIN because there is no TWRP Development on the device yet since TWRP doesnt support Super Parititon right now.
Code:
*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
How to flash:
1. Go into download mode on your device
2. Open up ODIN and choose the AP File
3. Flash it.
4. Boot into recovery so you can factory reset
5. It may restart a couple times, let it do that.
6. Now you should be able to use AOSP
Comes with gapps!!

I tried it several times, but without succes. My tablet (P610) stays in bootloop and is not booting.
I tried it with and without cleaning cache and with and without factory reset.
Went back to stock ROM.

Hey it works fine for me. You can try flashing the latest XAR firmware and try that. I went back to stock and then flashed it. Make sure you go into recovery mode nad factory data reset. After that it should reboot twice. Its gonna reboot to the white logo then its gonna go black and reboot again then wait. its suppose to reboot a few times anyways.
Rom is working great for me. No issues I can see. Great work

Are you fladhing it using the AP Slot? What version of Odin are you using? The kernel is based on an Euro kernel so i dont know why it wouldnt work. Make sure your vbmeta is stock vbmeta.

I tried is several times after a clean install of latest stock firmware.
I used official Odin 3.14 and patched Odin, and tried it several times with factory reset in advance and after flashing AOSP image.
But without succes, tablet doesn't boot and restarts every 15-20 seconds.
For now i stick to rooted stock firmware with some tweaks.
Did anybody try to install TWRP for A51 via adb?
I found this: https://www.droidthunder.com/install-twrp-recovery-on-galaxy-a51/
The A51 has the same cpu as Galaxy Tab S6 lite, so maybe it will work.

here is my situation:
rooted galaxy mini with CM9 installed.
i remember when i installed this i first flashed my stock phone using odin. that process rooted it. then i installed CWM in recovery mode. then i installed the CM9 file again in recovery mode.
now i want to go back to GB. i am downloading the official rom for my country from sammobile. my query is that do i simply install that rom from recovery mode or do i again have to flash it using odin or something? also is there a way to UNROOT my mobile or not?
kindly give me a detailed procedure. i looked in the threads for this but did not find detailed info.
thanks in advance
flash the official rom with odin and there you go
Either flash any custom gb-based rom, or just flash stock with odin, the second option will also unroot your phone. Search on yagyagaire.blogspot.com for detailed instructions.
Flash the latest stock rom again..
But first wipe data/cache

what version of odin did you used? for galaxy mini it's recommended to use odin 4.38. here's instruction that i used to upgrade my phone to gingerbread http://yagyagaire.blogspot.ie/2011/12/how-to-upgrade-samsung-galaxy-pop-to.html#more just replace firmware with your region, for me it was europe
firmware is not important..any region is fine...
samsung is racist XD for dividing the same old AOSP gingerbread into different locales and simply adding new lockscreens in new builds XD

Wipe data and cache before and after flashing. Or try using the firmware which has 4 files... use XWKTN.

Okay guys so I just rooted my att note 3 that was completely up to date using the towelroot.com method found here. Stupidly of me I was trying to follow a thread to change my system language in build.prop but after doing that It ONLY boots to recovery / safestrap. After the safestrap screen I tell it to continue to boot normaly and all i get after that is a black screen.
Any ideas? Is it possible to flash safestrap from odin / heimdall / recovery?
Ive tried factory resetting from safestrap and recovery and that didn't change anything.
I not even sure I have safestrap at this point I can get into recovery, and download mode but it sits at the "Samsung Galaxy NOTE 3 [Unlocked Icon] Custom" screen. It wont actually progress to the safestrap.
Before I tried to edit that build.prop the root / safestrap worked fine all day today, restarted several times for different reasons and still worked afterwards.
I had no encryption enabled.

This phone was not rooted prior to being stuck at the boot screen. Actually, it wasn't event stuck at the boot screen. Instead, it turned on and off. I installed PhilZ recovery and was able to backup all files. Then I tried to flash different versions of CM without success. They all get stuck at the boot screen now. No more turning on and off. I also tried to clear cache, wipe dalvik something and reset to factory. Is there something else that can be done? What would be the most likely cause for the failure?

Alternatively, Odin a stock rom and look for a philz.zip with compatible baseband. You can enter stock recovery and then flash the philz.zip via update option. This is essentially replacing stock recovery with the custom version. I did this on a naturally occurring bootloop phone and it seems to work, this method also bypasses the yellow triangle warning on boot.
From there, if you want to use other custom roms just remember to wipe /data and /system before installing the kernel, followed by rom itself after a reboot to recovery.

I tried that. I went to samsung-updates.com and downloaded a version that I believe is compatible with my baseband version. Is there any way to check what baseband version my phone has? Then I flashed with odin and was stuck in a bootloop. I then flashed PhilZ recovery and the boot hangs at the samsung logo.

I have flashed the 3.2.1.0 version of twrp recovery but it stucks at reboot when i reboot the system well i don't know what to do if i flash the old versin 3.1.1.0 is it would be problem. Now i am on stock rom and recovery. Open for suggestions.
It may be a kernel problem. I had the same thing happen on stock. I fixed it by downloading a ROM then installing TWRP. After install go right into recovery after you disconnect from Odin and clean flash the new ROM. No problems after that.

hi guys, a friend of mine gave e this samsung galaxy tab S2 SM-T715 32GB that is stuck on bootloop, he said nothing about what he has done to it (sadly) all i know is that it's stuck in bootloop and it's impossible to access the recovery... what i've tried so far is this:
- find a TWRP and flash it with odin v3.14, which works but when the tablet reboots it's stuck on bootloop and i can't access the recovery
- find and flash an older version of the TWRP that's for the android 5.1 stock rom, flashed in and worked, though i can't access it after the reboot
- find and flash the latest OFFICIAL rom which works because when i get into the download mode i see "samsung official" on "binary" and not "custom" as it was after the previous tries
if anyone has an idea about what i should do please help me ^^ the tab is still in good condition and would be a waste to throw in the garbage tbh
