Check your model number (search settings for "model") and post it here
I'm not sure if you're asking about Redmi Note 9s [plural of RN9] or Redmi Note 9S
There are certainly different variants of the RN9, probably of the RN9S too
Different models (with different model numbers and slightly different specs) are sold in different markets, though the principal difference seems to be presence or absence of NFC
Wrong section.
This section is for MERLIN (redmi note 9).

Hi,
I'm on the point of buying Redmi K20 Pro
However I noticed the forums here were described as "Redmi K20 and Mi 9T" - so wondered if the two phones were the same (or not) and whether the different names were just to reflect marketing and branding?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Both are the same. K20 Pro is sold as Mi 9T pro as the Global variant.
The only difference is B20 LTE Band
But it may be unlockable in the future

Mi 9t Pro has band 20. This is particularly useful in Europe where it is used extensively.
Also I believe that Mi 9t Pro has Widevine L1 certification not present on K20. Important to some people.
K20 Pro dosn't have NFC

Only the Indian version.
The Chinese K20 Pro has NFC.

The K20 series is also missing B28, which is significant here in Australia and possibly in other countries.
I hope it's ok to ask in this thread.
What are the differences in the firmware flashing?
I am using it a day right now and Miui is not really what I expected... So I may flash it after Miui 11 comes out.
The Roms are compatible between K20 Pro and Mi 9t Pro? Both are "Raphael"? There is no problem with frequency if I flash a "K20 Pro Rom"?
If I use another Rom, I still can use the three cameras? (My first multi cam phone)
I'm looking to upgrade from my Redmi note 7 pro in 2021. Going to stick with Redmi. Any experience with this model anyone?
This is Redmi Note 8/8T with bigger screen and battery.
Planning to buy this phone. It'll be an upgrade from Redmi Note 4! Lets see if I can buy it in Flash sales

buy redmi 9 power
Bought Redmi 9T as my 2nd phone a.k.a work phone. Loving it. Better view for Outlook, Teams, SharePoint compared to my main phone Pixel 5.

I have redmi 9T NFC bought in Europe and when I run "fastboot getvar version" I get codename 'lemon', even though I've been using all custom software for lime version and it works fine haha

Yeah, You are right. The NFC version codename 'lemon' but 'lime' ROMs are comfortable with it. Cause, everything is same just you have NFC.
Hello everyone.
According to this release ( https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-9t-redmi-note-9t-unveiled/ ):
"The Redmi Note 9T is the same as the Redmi Note 9 5G, and the Redmi 9T is the same as the Redmi Note 9 4G — both of which launched in China in November last year.”
I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G. If they're the same, does that mean I can install custom ROMs intended for the Redmi Note 9 if they are the same? Thank you.
I compared the differences using this site ( https://phonesdata.com/en/compare/5459105/5459048/ ) and they seem very similar, with exact same processor, GPU, and chips, the main difference I noticed was just the storage sizes offered.
Hello everyone
Can I find a New Note 9 (N9600) Version? Snapdragon 512GB
All of what I found is refreshed, and they say it has a lot of problems
Thanks
Samsung has stopped making the phone.
So I purchased a Redmi note off eBay a few days ago. The seller believes it's a 11se, but I think it's just a 10 5g.
It's OK. Compare models on https://phonedb.net

Chinese 10 5G is the same with 11 SE. Xiaomi just updated design and selling it as a new model.
