I read an article on XDA that rog phone 3 supports netflix
If I go to the play store and search for it, it says "this app isn't compatible with your device"
If I download the apk from Google, Netflix opens up, loads and then days "the app doesn't work on your device"
I have the Tencent Rog Phone 3 12GB 256GB version,
Can someone please help with installing and using Netflix? Thanks
Netflix was pre installed in Indian units and we're able to use Netflix. In which region are you using your phone and what is the firmware of your phone (global/Chinese/Taiwanese)?

Anyways you can install Netflix by downloading its apk (Google it). Try using Netflix, if it doesn't work, use VPN.
I think it needs a special version of Netflix. I also got that error, and the phone has Netflix pre installed.

that was the first place I went. and I cannot confirm that it does work for 4.3. The thing is when I Google search adult swim live stream and sign in with my comcast account it will hit the loading screen then never load. underneath the loading screen it says I need flash. installed following xda instructions. tried again got to loading screen no flash msg this time but it still didn't load. I can't figure out what the problem is.
I tried adult swim with mine on 4.2.2 and it wouldnt load any videos except the youtube ones. I downloaded a browser called photon browser and it has flash built in, went to adult swim and all the videos loaded and played. This is a trial period type app, but I think that there may be others like it.
Also, you may or may not know, that adobe does not support android above 4.0, anymore.
Edit....Google browser wont support flash, boat browser or fire fox will, you have to enable the flash player in the browser settings.

Scratch boat browser....can confirm adult swim videos working with firefox...on 4.2.2

that's what's wierd. I have plugins enabled and it hasn't worked. I can watch all the youtube videos no problem. I can't do the live stream.
The only thing that comes to mind is 4.3 is further away, in compatibility terms, for adobe. Could be something in the kernel. Only thing I can suggest is use an browser with flash built in.

I tried the photon browser. it worked for an honest second and keeps crashing saying Firefox crashed...So there's that.
Hi All
I have asked this severally with no assistance.
Whenever I install Xpossed (latest from xda forum and the correct one) i cant play videos on any website this includes live soccer, liveleak and even xxx. This is a major drawback so i remove it.
I had installed it and had even managed to install modules but the videos play once it is removed.
I would really like to have Xpossed installed and the ability to play videos. if this is a Bug where can I report it if there is a solution please just tell me.
My Phone is an InnJoo Fire Pro here is the spec link
The processor is a MTK6735 2Gb RAM android 5.0. can provide any info on the phone on request.
Xposed works only on root enabled mobiles.
Check if you have root permissions enabled by installing "Root Checker" from google play.
Dude. I have root i said "I installed it and had even installed some modules"
Once it is installed Videos dont play

Just in case anybody here isn't aware, SiriusXM has enabled Android Auto for their app, starting with version 4.3.0.
A little heads up.....there is some server side magic going on here. I hadn't been offered an update through Play Store, so I went to APKMirror and downloaded 4.3.0, which is the AA compatible version. AA did not work for me. After a bit of frustrated tinkering, I went back to what was being offered by Play Store, version 4.2.0. Two days ago I was offered the 4.3.0 update, and now it works.
So if Sirius doesn't want you to have it, you won't get it by simply installing the APK.
Sirius working on AA is a huge plus for me. A little buggy, as are all Sirius app releases.
any apps that you download from other than GP, you have to use adb pm install from computer, and assign the app vendor to google play, then only the apps work with AA2.9

I installed the leaked One UI beta for my T-Mobile Note 8 yesterday and I haven't really had any major issues other than with Youtube TV. It works perfectly fine in portrait mode, but when I rotate my screen to landscape or hit the full screen button on the video, the screen goes black. The audio still plays, but only a black screen is displayed. All the on screen buttons still show up and work when I tap the screen, but nothing will get the video back until I go back into portrait mode. On the pop out player, I noticed the same issue, video working when in portrait and black during landscape mode. Normal Youtube and other video apps work fine on full screen.
I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, clearing caches, and going through all the settings to try and find a fix but have been unable to do so. Can anyone else on the beta see if they have the same issue with Youtube TV?
It does the same on ALL video apps. Netflix, VUDU, etc...
Actually I've found that sling and hulu work fine on it. However just an fyi I did do a dirty flash so that could be why. All other streaming apps I have don't work though.
Could you kindly explain how do I enter/participate in the Android Pie beta for Note8?
Where did you download the beta version from?

I didn't even think to test it out on other video apps aside from Youtube. Netflix and VUDU didn't work, but Hulu did. How did you flash the update?

I did that too just by using the update.zip file. Hulu worked for me as well. Hopefully we get another update for the beta that fixes this.
Mine was a clean update. I have a N950U1, so I used ODIN to flash the CRK1 firmware, wiped, and then flashed DRL6 in recovery.
