I have a p580 that I'd like to use with the new Samsung TV Smart View but it doesn't seem to work. All my Android 10 devices can see the TV on the network except for th Tab A which is still on Android 9.

Ok, I have a question which probably wasn't asked for a while, as aerlink wasn't updated for a while, but maybe someone can still help me.
My wife has an android tab, an iPhone and a zenwatch 3. Android wear 2 standalone apps don't really cut it, so I tried to connect the watch via the old aerlink way, so she can have apps via the tab and her messages from the phone.
This solution doesn't work and I was ready to blame it on aerlink not being supported on aw 2. Out of fun, I still tried the same with my huawei watch 2 and here it works perfectly. Why is that the case?
For the facts: Tablet is on Android 6, iPhone 7 on 11.1. Huawei and Zen watch are both on 2.7 or Android 7.1.1 and the only difference is the security patch (Huawei is newer). Aerlink fails to connect to the iPhone from the zenwatch (constantly changes from connecting to disconnected) , while with Huawei it works directly.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason why it works on one aw2 watch and on the second not? Is there any alternative to use, which has the same effect? Thanks in advance.
I hope someone recognizes this problem.
I have an Opel Astra K (2016) with an Opel Intellilink Radio 4.0 system. By connecting the phone with USB to the system, Android Auto should start on the car's system.
I've tried connecting 3 different phones, a Samsung Galaxy S8+ with Android 9, Galaxy S9+ with Android 10 and Galaxy S20+ with android 10.
The Android Auto on the S9 and S20 are preinstalled, the phones are updated. The S8+ doesnt have it pre-installed so ive downloaded the APK,
Android Auto - Google Maps, Media & Messaging 5.3.5016 (28th may 2020).
Ive used 3 different cables. Original samsung cables and a unbranded cable. None of the attempts worked. Android Auto wont show up on the car display, but it starts on the 3 phones.
After almost giving up, i made a call with one of the phones while being connected with the USB. After the call, android auto started to show up on the car screen. It looks likes it got triggered by something. When i turn of the car, but keeping the cable connected, Android auto keeps working after starting the car again. The connection goes away after disconnecting the phone (pulling out the cable). After making a call again, it starts to work again. I have no idea how this happens and what the reason could be.
The "trick" by making a phone call works on all phones and with all cables.
Anyone got an idea?
hi, my Samsung s20 ultra was working until a few days ago but through mirror link, im trying to connect through android auto but I keep getting a message on my car computer screen saying to connect a compatible USB device, I know AA is built into my fone, It mostly for navigation I need it thanks
Your car needs to be able to handle Android Auto. You say you used Mirrorlink. This is a different system. Check if your car is compatible with Android Auto. My guess is, it is not.
Dear all
after the last update of my Galaxy Note 9 to android 10 I saw that android auto comes installed within the android 10 version .
But when I try to connect my Note 9 to my car as I get used before the system does not connect with my Note 9 and every time I connect the USB cable
to my note 9 It gives a sound that it is connected but after a while it looses connection before entering the android auto .
with my Samsung S8+ everything works fine and I use android auto well,
With my Rooted Samsung A30 also everything is great with android auto
Note : Note 9 I used to connect it via android auto also well but after the android auto comes built in with android 9 everything is lost
please help me
Hello man, have you solve the issue? I'm experiencing the same with a Seat Leon and huawei P30 pro. After the upgrade to android 10, it is not possible to establish a connection and I receive a error message (that the phone needs to be unlock). Everything works well with another car, a citroen, so it should be a compatibility issue between Seat and Android 10. I tried to update the full link seat but nothing change. Any help?
Thank you

Hi, I've installed Pixel Experience ROM on my Galaxy S10, and Android Auto isn't working. The car gives me the option to connect via Android Auto, but when I select it, nothing happens on the phone, and the car times out, telling me to "ensure your device supports android auto"
Does anyone have any debugging tips?
The ROM is based on Android 11
Do you have an Exynos Samsung by any chance?
If yes you are out of luck and have to go back to stock.
Exynos has some seriously broken USB-drivers that dont like accessory mode. Have been there and just ditched the phone.
I am indeed. That's a bummer.
