Yes we have so many good devs for this beast and the one man army codeworkx also.
we have awesome developer only major roadblock is leeco itself they neither are releasing any updates nor releasing IR blaster and camera blobs.
@codeworkx is one man army and he is the only hope for lineage sources .
Yes, we have very good developer support but without camera and IR blaster fix it is not worth to switch to custom ROMs also lineage doesn't have real nougat UI instead its old marshmallow UI
Hoping to get a fully functional ROM is future.
Xlent devs and community
Owning a Le Eco Le S2, and a Pro3 I can attest that both Lineage OS and Paranoid Android are fairly stable.
Some small issues on the S2, as mentioned above. Though it was a daily driver on LOS 14.1 for about a month with only a couple crashes, both times phone would freeze while making a call, on Bluetooth, via voice prompts with Android Auto open. So it's very much an edge case.
S3 X626 compatibility
This is compatible with the one indicated S3 X626

I want to know about rom and pre-installed applications
example I found that the fast battery was getting hot and freezing
I saw that application (com.letv.android.personalized) had a CPU consumption of 88%
every time I start the force close application Custom Service
in this way I get it to work well
in the same way I would like to know about pre-installed applications and know which ones I can eliminate
thanks
Some of the post above are out of date. Yes, there are many options for the L2 and all of its Snapdragon variations EX: X5** Series. My kids both have the X522 and are using custom roms without any issue to speak of. Currently they are both using Lineage one is using 15.1 and the other is using Codeworks 14.1. At this time, I would recommend Codeworks version.

You seem to have dabbled with custom ROMS on this device. My question is, have you found a good/working fix for the glaring shortcomings of most custom Nougat and Oreo ROMS. I'm talking about the camera problems in N ROMS and encryption issues in Oreo ROMS. There are Pie ROMS out now but I can't pull the trigger on anything other than stock or stock-based ROMS because my phone is a daily driver.

My personal phones are X727's both using Pie as daily drivers, with te Arnova Pixel Mod Gcam.
My daughter has a X522 with Lineage 15.1 Oreo, My Son still using dotOS Oreo, both with ATT service, and is using the Arnova Pixel ported Camera - no issues as daily drivers. Stock does not compare to these new Roms. We haven't installed Pie on my kids phones yet. but it is my understanding that it is very stable.
If you try a newer Rom, Use firmware by Codeworks, and avoid the issues that so many with a X5XX seem to have with GPS, WIFI and mobile.

Flash your TWRP ( for your device) Rom of Choice, Gapps Nano, Latest Magisk, Flash Firmware
Finished Boot to system and go through setup.

Thanks. My le 2 just arrived. I think I'll try every stable(ish) custom ROM out there and settle on one. I really haven't used any Nougat or Oreo phone so I have little to compare my Marshmallow to. Guess I'll just try them out to see the new features and if I find a stable enough one, I'll stick with it. But stability always trumps fancy features that I might use once a fortnight.

Again, I haven't tried Pie on the Le 2 yet ( we have X522's - you may not be aware that X522, X526 etc are all the same phone) I would start with Pie. IF PIE ( android 9.0) performs nearly as well on your device as it does for the Le Pro 3, it will be the one you like the most.
Pie, is stable, beautiful, has amazing battery life etc.
Enjoy

Yeah, I'm taking Stock EUI for a day's ride and thereafter try two EUI-based ROMS then I'm off to pie. There's one particular version that's very actively being developed so I'll probably land there first.

Loved the support given by the devs. They have created s o many beautiful roms. Devs are kind and always ready to help. Great support.
As the s2 gets older and older, devs are gradually abandoning it. It's Glory days are over and just a handful of devs are still making ROMs for this device and maintaining them. Also afaik, only overload kernel is the kernel still being actively developed. Development on all other kernels have seized. It's painful to see the community slowly die but that's the harsh reality.
I need some help of you guys.
I am searching for a rom which gives best performance in PUBG Mobile.
ROMs I tried and their bugs
- RR OS - Every thing was fine I got better performance on PUBG Mobile as it has a performance mode on Battery. But I cant play videos on youtube, Google chrome, other browser too.
- XenosOS- It also had the performance mode on Battery But this rom made my device restarts again again even while charging.
- Others like; Black Panther , Venom , Promethesus , Lineage , Dot , ASOP , Paranoid , Nexux , Viper , MIUI , And other Roms based on Port. They Dont gave me Expected Performance as I got in RR.
If you guys know some of them having Performance mode on Battery then please share with me with the android version too.
Now I am using OREOSAMA and waiting for VELOXY.
Thanks.:fingers-crossed:

Yes, Havoc might be the best AOSP available right now for On7xelte. I am on Havoc pie, sadly its been nearly a month since last update due to Devleoper having some issues. other than that, Rom is super cool ignoring the screen lock touch delay problem.

As you suggest for the Updated version ko RR rom on Oreo and Pie but I didn't find the Performance Mode On battery My life relies on it. If you know updated version of RR rom on 7.1.2 then you can share it with me. Cause it will be more stable and Bugs might have been removed.

Well i don't have anything to say if you still insist on using Nougat Rom. And i don't think AOSP Roms are better with battery and regarding your Performance mode, i haven't find it in other roms or might have not paid attention to it, You can also Request the feature in RR telegram group if you are really desperate.
Or just wait for a few days, New and fresh one UI rom is coming ported from the nearest base j7 prime2 (G611f), Dev says the Rom is totally stable.
Try T.R.R Gaming rom its really good!
H-Rom gives a decent fps at medium graphics
Hey bro all the rom ever try. You must try Prometheuslite rom. Its Oreo. But for the game that rom its amazing. Very stable than other rom. I choose this rom for gaming experience. You try.
Hello, I will try to guide you. Sorry my bad english. Never compare AOSP with TW, since they are very different, and do not compare old versions of Android, such as oreo vs Pie, since they are not the same, they should not compare Custom Stock to a Custom Port rom, they are very different in all aspects that wish to see it, AOSP is good in battery, since its aesthetics is 1000% poor, as for TW, it is elegant, but Samsung does not stop putting garbage in the system, which makes it a bit heavy.

HI all, what do y'all think is the most stable and least problematic among all the custom ROMs for SPES? I'd like to know 'coz I'm tired of backing up my files and switching to other ROMs when there's something wrong with my current ROM, thanks!
In my case it is Evolution X (both Android 12 and Android 13) for a simple reason:
It is one of the few ROMs that has solved a bug with the Goodix fingerprint readers, which is that it does not let the screen turn off correctly, since it takes the FP as a button. Well, I know that Pixel Experience also solved it but I had a bad experience with that ROM.
Used Pixel Experience for 2 months. It's smooth
Been using Evolution X for a week, my only complaints are some bugs like fingerprint not working until I unlock the phone on some instances
Planning to move to CrDroid sometime next week tho, idk I'd recommend use them all and decide what you should use

Well, then back to official MIUI I suggest. Nobody can assess what "something wrong" means to you. Rom development is an ongoing process, bugs happen. For some a (slightly) lower sot is "wrong" for others the gaming performance is "wrong". I find this kind of questions difficult since more people want just ready to use roms without the more or less hassle that may come with software in development from and for the community and developed by learning hobby developers, enthusiasts or semi professionals or as often seen tech students. This is not how this all here works. I'm using pa sapphire beta for weeks now, which definitely has its pros and cons (for example). But I'm cool with it since it's stable in case of random reboots and its overall performance (nearly no sudden performance drops in general usage). Where for others the small hiccups it has are unacceptable I'm clearly happy with it (until another interesting rom or update comes up ). Long story short, it depends on what "something wrong" means individually since there are several stable and 'well performing' projects out there. Cheers
Till now the most stable rom is undoubtedly crDroid 8.8 or 8.9 Android 12... You should give a try

I actually was on cdDroid since 8.7 but then 8.9 has the goodix bug, which made the phone incredibly annoying to use, so I tried Evolution X on Android 13 and its stable, for now, but I'm probably gonna get back to crDroid when the goodix bug will be fixed.

I tried all of them from XDA and out of XDA, from the lot of available ROMs, the simpler, less customizable seems to run smoother than all the rest, PixelOS v13 takes the credit. I personally prefer something more customizable, and the better for that is AncientOS-Shield, of course, it could have its cons, as the battery consumption within other things, so, finally, you'll find that you should give it a try in your own, the experience from others also can help you, to decide, not to use it, but to try it (or not)

This has nothing to do with the stability of a custom rom, but with the hardware of your smartphone.
With every batch Xiaomi change hardware. Not every custom rom can or will follow these changes.

Bumping this thread to ask the same question in light of new circumstances (my apologies):
I've been looking through all these threads lately to find a custom ROM for my usage before unlocking the bootloader, but recently I noticed that almost every Android 12 ROM is discontinued so the devs can work on A13 or for other reasons, so now I can't find any threads that have that in context.
In other words my question is, what is a stable enough ROM now that most are discontinued? Taking into context the spoofing no longer works in the latest ArrowOS 12.1 build which causes extreme battery drain by the Google Play Services.
If it helps, the uses/needs I basically seek are mainly Camera/Audio/Battery. I dont care for gaming one bit in my personal case.
Thank you and sorry for repeating the same question. I just want to drop MIUI and can't find an answer.

If you are okay with MIUI, Hassan mirza ROMs are amazing. He has A12/12.5/13.
What ROM do you recommend for stability an battery life? Planning to flash a custom one for my daily driver, mostly for social media, barely any gaming.
There are many ROMs I see floating around, but rarely any comparison. Currently, crDroid and Pixel Experience have my attention
Here are other ROMs I have heard to work well on Redmi Note 11:
- Pixel Experience
- crDroid
- Pixel Plus UI
- Pixel Extended
- PixelOS
- SparkOS
- LineageOS
- SuperiorOS
Some of these are old and unmaintained, but I'd love to hear what you guys think
Hey, I tried Pixel Experience (the 12 version was amazing), C Droid and Elixir. My favorite one is Elixir.
They added the fast charging in the last update, it's almost perfect.

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience. Is there any bug you encountered? How's the battery life?
I'd say crDroid for stability. I've never had any problems/bugs whatsoever with this ROM and it's pretty smooth
I had so many bugs on C Droid, I hope they fixed it. On Elixir, the only issue I have is that my phone freeze after playing a big game and not closing it. I'll telly you if they fixed it in the new update.
I have been using PixelExperience+ Android 13 for about 2 weeks now, and I have nothing bad to say about it. It's been really a good experience!
pixel experience is almost great!... until that weird launcher bug appears. it started to lag and stutter like crazy, the same with background tab and it uses like twice the battery comparing to other apps.

I just wanted to "not answer" your question. If you're looking for custom ROMs, I'll tell you which custom ROM for Redmi Note 11 is definitely not stable: xiaomi.eu. It's one of the most popular custom ROMs for Xiaomi phones but I don't recommend it on this phone. I tried it some time ago: it was nice at first but a little while later I had a sudden restart while opening a 7 MB music player and another crashing that forced me to restart while opening the Gallery app. It was the first and last custom ROM I tried, I never had these problems running any stock ROM. Good luck.

I really believe most of the readers in XDA don't speak Spanish. You can use Google translator if you really want people read your opinion and experience.
I'm currently on crDroid 9.x for 5 days, so far satisfied with the stability, battery life not much different from Stock, the customization is really good just what I expect.
Still experiencing wifi connection drops but not as often as Stock ROM.
I'm using EU rom since last 2 months and the ROM is only problem is saved google password doesn't appear all the time and this is frustrating because I use too much logins for different apps. Overall satisfied, I don't know why these companies limits functionalities even though we've same hardware's like super wallpapers security app features etc in eu vs global rom

I tried the lastest stable release for Android 12. The app was Foldplay, a very light and simple music player. The crash happened only once though, it wasn't like it made the phone restart everytime. But still, I wouldn't risk it happening again with some other app. Like I said, I've never had these problems with any stock ROM. Good luck.
I'm on Xiaomi EU. I've tried Mani customs roms. Many of them are awesome, specially pixel experience. The only thing that have bothered me is UI flickering when I open settings from the notification drawer. I don't necessarily complain about it because I understand that many devs are using pre complied kernel since kernel source code have not been published yet, so the actual result is awesome considering that we might be using pre complied kernel.
I always come back to Xiaomi EU because stability. I recently disable xiaomi's power keeper and the rim is running just like custom roms. So maybe I stick to it for some time. If you decide to try xiaomi eu, go ahead and don't forget to disable power keeper.

What is your system usage in GB?? I use stable 13.0.6 xiaomi.eu and from flash it uses 18GB. It's crazy.
That and the usual xiaomi spam (the eu rom is really doing a good job but still), I feel a bit overwhelmed and can try to uninstall all those system app that I don't need, but its time consuming.
That's why I flirt with the idea of custom roms to be honest

Yeah, I know but keep in mind that our device uses a dual system arquitecture. I don't remember exactly the name of that mechanism, but it means that our device have a copy of the entire system in a mirror partition. Thanks to that, it can perform updates to the firmware without requiring you to reboot the phone. So, the system might actually using way less than those 18gb, but because of the dual system architecture, firmware is stored with a copy.
