That is not possible at all, 5G requires different hardware so it's not a setting that can be turned on. Can you show what exactly did you find?

YES I know that it requires a different hardware chipset tto support 5G I just found this setting so I was curious that is they any way to enhance 4G speed using this.
And I searched network on my settings search bar and it just appeared

Can you show? I thought you could have meant 5GHz, which would be about wifi connection, but I can't find that in developer settings.

LG 70 5GHz WiFi Problem

Could anyone help me why this device is not recognizing my 5GHz WiFi home network?

I also have an LG G3 and that phone is not having any trouble getting connected to my wifi router transmitting on that band.
TIA.-
PD: Both phones are rooted in case this helps

mmmm... but that would mean to lost everything I've installed (apps) there right?
I mean, like performing a factory reset?

You really think that cheap LG 70 (LG-D320g8) would have the hardware to support dual band wifi?

Yes with others phones I have VoLTE
There is some works for this but anyway, still not possible for pixel4 right now. The work able to force enable the menu in settings but not provisioned it so it is still not working. I think especially in the country that Google does not officially sale, like me in Thailand.
Even i would like to know. I remember there was a way to do it in pixel 2.

Question Disable 5G?

I'm using an unlocked model and the "5G" (not UW) on Verizon is much slower than the 4G in my area. Is there any way to disable it?
It's 20mbps vs 100+mbps
Just go into network and change from 5G/4G/3G/2G to 4G/3G/2G

Mine doesn't have those options.
A lot of issues with 5G and it's implementation both networks and on phones.
Rarely does it justify its existence except in limited areas. It's also a known battery hog even if not in use. Blame Qualcomm's bum rushing for that.
Avoid any 2 chipset solutions for 5G like the plague.
At first I had minor regrets of not having it on my 10+... now I'm damn glad I don't!
Try this
From play store download the app "Phone by Google"
Open the app and dial *#*#4636#*#* it's gonna open a secret menu,go to set preferred network type and change to LTE/CDMA/GSM/WCDMA

General Screen flickering on Redmi Note 10 pro

Hello,
Most of us have discovered an irritating screen flickering issue on Redmi Note 10 pro. Flickering is visible in low light conditions and mostly in grey screen.
Here's the solution:
1) Get some activity launcher
2) Choose settings app (com.xiaomi.misettings)

}
3) Now select Antiflickeractivity
4) You can select Anti Flicker here
Thank you!
any workaround on custom roms? it started for me last week
I haven't had a problem with it, but all the roms I remember have had some setting like that. If you search settings for "flicker" or "dimming" you should hopefully find it. It might be under Display/LiveDisplay.

I'm not too familiar with crdroid, but I think that's an old version, android 11? A newer version might help.

Question Does Anyone have a solution for Over Contrast/Over Sharpening

Hey, everyone. I just bought a new Redmi Note 10s device and did not know about this over sharpening thing. This thing is a garbage and it hurts my eyes even tho iam using a sAmoled screen. I don't wanna install custom ROM cause that will damage my warrenty. If someone has a solution for that please do help me. Or any way to turn this Miravision off.
So I have found the thing that cause of Over Contrast or over saturation/sharpening that happens in our device. But there's no option to turn it off. If anyone has a way to turn it off then that would be great. And MiUi 13 should have option to turn of Miravision... Hope soo
