vendor country info corrupt - "Vendor country file not readable"

I am trying to get rid of the chinese firmware on my EVA-DL00 and change it to an international version. To achieve this I made a couple of steps (unlock bootloader, install TWRP, root, change cust), but seems like I did something wrong changing cust:
The service menu (*#*#2846579#*#* --> Network Information Query --> Vendor Country Info) originally reported "vendor: unicom, country: cn" - now it just reports: "vendor: Vendor country file not readable; country: "Vendor country file not readable".
Most of the steps I did with an older SRK Tool version (1.4), such as changing custom.bin and oeminfo to C432 and changing build.prop parameter. Before changing custom.bin and oeminfo I made a backup of these files. Restoring the files from the backup and entering the original version in build.prop with SRK Tool doesn't fix the vendor and country info though.
I also tried to use C432 custom.bin and oeminfo for EVA-L19 from a different source to not use the EVA-L09 files included in SRK tool. Using these doesn't make a difference though. It is clearly visible changing the cust does have an effect in my case as after doing so the device behaves different during initial startup (shows different configuration options in the wizard), different icons on the home screen, set-up menu for double sim use with the L19 files etc.
Nevertheless nothing seems to change the vendor and country info. The installed firmware is EVA-DL00C17B183 - after changing cust it only shows as EVA-DL00B183 in the about-screen though.
From which files is this information taken? Is it possible I changed file permissions somehow or even deleted necessary files? I don't remember I did anything that could have caused this though. Only thing might be wiping /cache and /data and changing file system to ext4.
Thanks for any help!

Similar story. What worked for me was a factory reset. Settings->Advanced Settings->Back & reset->Factory data reset. Good luck
Bazzan
Yea try factory data reset + cache wipe.

Reduced System partition prevent Rollback

Hi there, i've done some testing with rom for the board on my NEM-L51C432 and i face a problem.
Userdata partition growth from aprox 8 to 10Gb taken for the system partition by one of the rom i installed on the phone. I tried to get back to EMUI but the system partiton is too small to containt the base system.
i've tried many things to put things back
eRecovery,
eRecovery with DNS Change (huawei Firmware tool),
fdisk from adb (lack the ability to choose the part you want to delete)
debloat huawei system.img (still lack of space)
and now i can only have some really light roms with a few gapps with no safetynet or Magisk as it makes my kernel crash
Do you have any idea about how to change the way storage is splitted?
or simply knowing the name of the largest rom of the board
thank you by advance

realme c11 Vendor.img

Does anyone have a vendor.img backup file? I forgot to backup the vendor file
Please helpme

I compiled the official kernel for Realme X2 Pro but how do I install them?

I was able to compile the realme X2 Pro's official kernel release from https://github.com/realme-kernel-opensource/realmeX2pro-X3-AndroidR-kernel-source and I got 3 files generated in arch/arm64/boot folder.
They are:
Image
Image-dtb
Image-dtb-hdr
I just wanted to know how to move further to be able to flash just this kernel (I have a GSI image flashed on /system from TWRP).
Based on the partitions I saw from TWRP, the ones I feel relevant are: Boot partition, Dtbo partition, Vendor Image partition. Which one is it and how do I package the kernel/device tree blob file above to be able to flash to one of these via fastboot? Is that even a valid operation?
I don't want to risk a trial and error approach and possibly screw up further (I have backups of these partitions, but still I'd love to get some insights from the community who might've done this before)
Thanks!

Question Xiaomi 11T Pro on TWRP backup failed on backing up Super (system system.ext product vendor odm) ....

Mi 11T Pro TWRP Backup failed twice on same area ........ Backing up Super (system system_ext product vendor odm)...
I did twice and same spot that failed miserably and I also copied just a small portion of the recovery log that fail:
Backing up Super (system system_ext product vendor odm)...
I:Reading '/dev/block/by-name/super', writing '/usb_otg/TWRP/BACKUPS/5bb27ae4/2022-12-27--06-03-40/super.emmc.win'
I:Error writing destination fd (Operation not permitted)
Backup Failed. Cleaning Backup Folder.
Running on the latest TWRP twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-vili-skkk and rooted with lastest Magisk v25.2 with safety net passed.
Any advice is highly appreciated and thanking in advance - -

You have rooted the phone and you must have seen that even with root the system partitions remain in read only which means that you cannot restore the system with the Twrp which must have write permission.

Thanks @ Noss8
Yes, I do understand this part however, If I use PartitionBackups to back up all the files around 6.7 GB ..... the question is can I restore through PartitionBackup in future? Thank again for the piece of advice!

I don't know this app.
The system on devices with A/B partitions with A12 or A13 remain in Read only.
Try to restore only the data without the system/vendor/etc.
Did you remove security on the lock screen and reboot the system before your backup?
This has the effect of decrypting your data.
Micloud can also back up your data, apps (not all and without settings), mms, sms, photo, music, configuration settings, but the free version is limited to 5GB.
There is also backup on PC with Micloud, just a folder to cut / paste.

Thank again @ NOSS8
Yes, I did removing all my security passwords on the lock screen before doing all the backups.
The Twrp was good where I managed to backup everything except the system while the PartitionBackup did backup everything!
Yes, I do fairly backup only folders under Micloud as only 5GB of storage only!
Thank you
