how can i find the time calls values?
If you mean how much time you have been in calls total and how long last call was etc.
You find it by clicking the phone icon which takes you to the dialer, then click on the logs tab, then menu button will give you the call duration option.
Yes but they can be reseted, i want to know if you can find the overall talk time, from his first day

[Q] Do not disturb or blocking mode feature for overnight?

I am just about to get one of these phones but was wondering if it has the ability to switch off calls/notifications at night between specified times?
I believe the S3 has blocking mode and iOs has Do not disturb.
If it doesn't have this ability are there any apps on the play store that people could recommend that would do this?
Cheers
Llama location profiles will do the trick. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kebab.Llama

Thanks I will check that out, so it doesn't do it natively then?
If it does, then it's very well hidden. i can't find such option.
I am using this Ringer Volume for years and it never failed.
Easy, simple and versatile.
There is an app in the play store called SEER that works like a charm.

Ha ha lol I thought you were taking the piss until I clicked on your link.
Do any of the apps have the ability to set it so one number still rings, as I am on call and need the phone on silent unless work ring.

That's an unethical practice disturbing an employee while on his sleep considering the fact that it's not already work hours. lol! You should know your rights! You deserve a healthy living still you know haha!
Anyways I'm not sure about the HTC One... Don't have it yet but on past HTC Devices there's this feature called Smart Group... You could assign contacts on that group and add options on it like the notification settings for each particular group. And yeah you can configure it to be silent on a specified time or switch ringtones on specified times also.

If you want some serious automation, check out Tasker.
It s not free, and not easy to get used to, but with some perseverence it can do just about anything.
The easy stuff is shutting radios and volume off between hours. Also simple to nominate a specific contact so that person can still make your phone ring.
With some practice you'll get it automatically muting your phone when you walk into your favourite cinema.
Or adjusting settings depending on battery levels.
Or turn your wi-fi on when you get home.
Or waiting until you are on a certain part of your drive home from work and text the wife to say you are on the way, and to get dinner ready!
Check out some of the pre-made "recipies" others have made for Tasker than you can download and import...
http://tasker.wikidot.com/profile-index
Nevermind thought it had a night mode it doesn't
Or another suggestion would be BusyMe all it does it set times to silence your phone. Very simple and work perfect. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fernandodunn.android.busyme.lite
I use an app called power schedule basic which does this as well and is very customisable. You can use it to set silent mode at night, wifi on and off schedules, ring profiles and other stuff.

Wow thanks for all the suggestions, I checked out Tasker, it looks mega complicated though, I also tried Llama which seems to be good as well, any other suggestions?

I think Tasker is overkill (doesn't mean it's bad). I can't judge is functionality but it's just too much work to accomplish simple things. That's why I settled for Llama.
Some ideas, maybe the best if we can accepnt call from some group of contacts such as favorites...
Any idea?

Llama allows you to put your phone into quiet mode but still let calls ring your phone but only from specified contacts. It's not as simple as just selecting your favorites group but you can select allowed contacts.
The reason I sought this specific app was due to Smart Actions on my Razr HD. I loved it but found it was too limited. Llama fills in the gap.
Try I'm sleeping app in store.

auto call

Anyone know a task that can auto dial a number at a certain time AND initiate it to speaker phone? I know how to do task for auto dial. Thanks.
Hi,
Would this work?
1. Create a new Time Profile, with From and To set to the same time (the time you want to place the call).
2. Create a new Task.
3. Add Action --> Phone --> Call: Fill in the Number and tick Auto Dial.
4. Add Action --> Audio --> Speakerphone: Set On.
The Tasker Help says speakerphone "will only have any effect when a call has already started". So you might have to play around with adding a Wait Action (Add Action --> Task --> Wait) between the Call Action and the Speakerphone Action, if the speakerphone gets switched on too soon.
Hope this helps!

Wow. Good idea. I will try. Thanks.
Edit. I needed to wait 5 seconds instead of 3. Thanks!

Tasker auto dials when app open, else doesn't do anything
I know it's a bit late but I recently delved into tasker. I'm trying to create a profile that calls a ussd code every week. It dials it OK when tasker is open but as soon as I minimize it (not close, just send to background) it doesn't work. It's a simple call number and auto dial. Any suggestions. Phone is rooted.
Thanks

Auto-redial?

Does anyone know why Samsung has removed this helpful feature? Does anyone know of a good alternative? The last app I used would not stop auto dialing a successfullly placed call's number.
Cmon nobody? Bumping for help.
IDK what auto redial is, but like every other Android phone I've had in recent history, this Verizon 8 /512 Note 9 places the last number called in the entry box, when I hit the call button and calls that number when I hit the call button again.

No android/Samsung used to have a native function that would automatically keep redialing a busy number until it was successful. Very handy feature.

Oh, huh! Learn something, new, every day!
I can't recall the last time I heard a busy signal.
Oh for real? I never heard of this before. I used to use an app that would call business for me and bypass their robots until a human picked up. Forgot what it was called.

activating lastpass accessibility toggle

Is it possible to use tasker to switch on lastpass accessibility toggle? My OnePlus 3t (not rooted, OOS 9.0.4) deactivates it almost on a daily basis. I have switched off battery optimisation for lastpass but the phone turns the toggle off.
Use auto input
Ta. I'll check that out
Hi there. Maybe you can try using the "Custom Setting" action for that. Try using the Magnifying glass in the action with the option to automatically find the setting and see if Tasker can find it. Hope this helps!

I found that by googling but I can't figure out how to make it toggle the switch. The tasker forum talks about reading the accessibility setting but gives no more details than 'brilliant that works'

The easy way is to use the Secure Settings action in AutoTools. That has a direct option for accessibility services. I plan on adding that option to Tasker directly at a later date.
With the Custom Setting action what you should do is read the value, remove or add the needed service from the list, the write the setting.
Ta I'll test that

I must be missing something here. Autoapps seems to only control a subscription service. Can't see anything called secure settings when I download it.

Mea culpa mea maxima culpa.
I'll try again.
I seem to have manage to get the change state to react to it switching state but need to do some adb to see if it works.

I can now get the profile to switch on but I cannot figure out how to get the secure setting to change the toggle.
Both profile and task shows up as green but nothing seems to happen.

No. If I click on the task I don't get an error or the green dot. Instead I get a grey play arrow Infront of the task.
In the profile window both the profile and task shows up as green.

That means that Tasker doesn't seem to be able to communicate with AutoTools. Do other AutoTools actions work?
To make sure Tasker and the AutoApps run in the foreground please check here: https://tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/faqs/faq-problem.html#00

Yep. All those seeking are correctly set. It's the tasker foreground setting I cannot find. Tried googling it but the links I found doesn't match what I see in tasker.
