No problem at all, yes some apps cant use because of the security reasons. But those apps not needed.

Just use ADB to remove system apps if that's your only reason to root.

Why this rooting anyway?!

Hallo.
Used to have a rooted device just for running adaway and backing my system up with Titanium Backup plus.
My Note 5 is not rooted but since CF-Auto-Root is now available for the Note 5 I really do not know whether I should root it and risk my warranty.. I now use Helium Pro for Backing up and am living with the ads.. I do not want to change the Stock-firmware, so I really do not know if adaway and Titanium are worthy rooting my device.
So, fro your perspectice, what are the advantages of rooting my device?
Thank you for your answers.

Nandroid backups is the first in the line. Second one is the retouching the stock rom. Wanam is another cool stuff for your device. Its my opinion, fella. Peace ?
I've rooted all my previous devices but not the Note 5 as of yet. Samsung Pay is due to launch here in the UK soon so I'd like that to work as normal. Plus I use AdGuard now to get rid of ads you have to pay for it but it works well and for now I'm happy using it as is without rooting to ensure everything works as it should.

If I were you I'd just get Alliance rom or something. Battery life is better and there is no bloat

Replace S Note with Samsung Notes (Note 7 port)

I'm currently using a Nougat ROM (INFINITY) that has S Note pre-installed but the Note 7 version of the app is superior. Is there any way to uninstall and replace the S Note app with the newer one?
The Notes app can be downloaded from the Play Store, if your ROM is rooted use Link2SD or any root explorer to delete the S Notes.

Only problem with that is that the phone still wants to use SNote as the notes app so i can't just pull out my spen and start typing because nothing will happen. The system will search for an app that's not there anymore
QUOTE !!! I WANT TO TAKE A QUICK NOTE WITH samsung NOTES NOT WITH SNOTE... like as note 7... is it possible ???

It would just trip Knox as stock filmware has been altered, if there was a way to do that.
You are better off using a package disabler on the playstore or disable them via adb - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....arrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/amp/
You can try Samsung Member Apps from Play Store.Check Diagnostic>Unused Apps>Check which one you never/rarely used>Delete.

Samsung + App Constant FC'ing

Hello all,
I cannot access the Samsung + app since I first flashed Beta zip room ARJA. I have ATT Note 9U version so had to flash the beta zip through SD card. I didn't want to flash U1 firmware because I'd lose WiFi calling, Volte, etc. I thought that with at least one of the updates, the issue would've been fixed. I'm now currently on CRLJ and still the app FC's every time I attempt to open it. I've cleared cache and data, I've uninstalled and reinstalled as well as numerous reboots and nothing. Anyone else experience this on their ATT N9? View attachment 4674605

Is your device rooted? If so that would break Knox and Samsung Knox apps, idk if Samsung+ app also stops working when Knox is disabled if it also stops working then there's your answer not to install custom rom or root your device.

You can't use the Samsung+ app on Pie. Only the Samsung Members app. I'm genuinely surprised you don't know this, as it's been discussed in the main beta thread and you've been an active participant in that thread.

No, definitely not rooted. I wouldn't dare on a hand set this expensive. Mr. Orange may have answered my question. Thanks!
