Hey,
I am a Xiaomi Redmi 4A user. Over the past few days, I unlocked its bootloader, installed twrp. I then flashed AOSP Extended and rooted my phone by flashing SuperSU.
Today, I used the in built system device uninstaller and I uninstalled the android stock Calendar app, thinking the Google Calendar app from the play store is better and it would work. Now, I see something like 'com.android.providers.Calendar' has stopped every once in a while.
Is there any viable solution to this error that regularly keeps popping up? I do not want to flash the ROM again/factory reset/root my phone again or something like that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Try flashing Oreo gapps it may fix it just clean cache and dalvink before flashing

No problem bro
I got my K20 pro on 15th running on MIUI v10.3.5.0(PFKCNXM). Installed google stuff & all & it was running fine but after 2 days, from 17th it started random freezing & rebooting. It's really frustrating. Is it just software problem or hardware?
Same here, so i'm guessing it's software issues
Factory reset
Try factory reset, if the problem, continues then maybe it's time to claim warranty.

The one sold in India is PFKINXM
Firmware 10.3.16 fixed everything (no NFC)
All my problem with the phone got fixed with chinless Firmware 10.3.16 well everything but NFC(i think they sent me a version without nfc capabilities)

Could you explain in detail how you fixed your phone? My phone still freezes a lot after installing FDE.AI module and i can't seem to get it to work properly without freezing
Did you guys get a factory sealed CN rom version? Mine is 10.3.15 and is running fine (updated OTA last week, its a CN stable version)

How do we get that?
Do you mean how can you get a factory sealed version, or the OTA update?
I wrote about my buying experience here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79918346&postcount=68
About the OTA update, it was automatic on my official stable CN rom (i didnt choose the "fake" Global Rom beta from the Chinese stores)

What I did was
1. Install TWRP Recovery For Redmi K20 Pro (https://www.getdroidtips.com/download-and-install-twrp-recovery-for-redmi-k20-pro-latest/)
2.boot into recovery immediately
3. wipe cache + dalvik art
3. then format
4.reboot to recovery (if you get the chinese recovery just re-Install TWRP Recovery For Redmi K20 Pro}
5. mount the phone and connect to PC
6.Transfer the rom 10.3.16 eu
7.install 10.3.16 eu (https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/redmi-k20-pro-firmware-10-3-8-0-9-6-13-t3939647)

Yes it works on m X2 CN
You can use debloater magisk module and remove all the Chinese apps including theme store, market, phone manager etc. Everything works fine without any issue.

If it's stock rom + magisk module, will the safetynet check break?
It's returned to stock rom now.
I plan to unlock again and flash the recovery, then delete the .apk files in recovery. Finally relock again.
I think the safetynet check would be okay after this. Hope I'm correct.

Please avoid unlocking relocking bootloader multiple times. It may get hardbricked anytime.
Stock rom with magisk modules will not break the safetynet unless you flash xposed.
Just make sure you hide the magisk manager from settings and hide all banking apps or all those apps that detect root and you'll be good to go.
I'm on stock with magisk +modules and debloated all Chinese apps.

Hi guys,
Hope someone can help. It's been month now that this issue has started and I have no clue what it is. So basically I have unlocked my phone and flashed with a custom ROM. However, every time I switch on the phone (I'm one of those who likes having it off at night) it reboots several times to recovery mode, so I have to reboot it again (like 3 or 4 times) until it finally starts up normally to Miui.
Anyone has any clue please??
Thanks a lot
Backup your data, then do a factory reset.
Thanks, I've tried that multiple times actually. Unfortunately it doesn't fix it
Same problem here. Flashed my phone with EU ROM, it will reboot to recovery mode several times before it starts up with normal MIUI. Note: Bootloader was in unlock status. Anyone has a solution?

Same with yours. My phone was purchased in China. In order to use Andriod Auto (Chinese rom does not have AA), I flashed my phone to EU rom (V13.0.7). Because of the region restriction, I have to keep the bootloader unlocked. Then installed Magisk to hide the root in order to use Google Pay. It can reboot without any problem for the first month. Then suddenly it will reboot to recovery mode several times before reboot to normal OS. Never update the rom after flash to EU rom. So I have no clue why it works well at first.

Flashing the latest EEA from, and installing 2 modules to hide that I'm being unlocked the boat loader, from that point if I restart than occurs the recovery boot loop.

Did you test if you flashed fresh your EEA ROM, and doesnt installed one of the modules, does it then also reboot into the recovery bootloop? Im troubleshooting maby the module is corrupt (Magisk props hide / fingerprint).

Im testing a few days, and it seems to be that the Universal Safetynet fix Author Kdrag0n , gives this bootloop Recovery. If I flash fresh a EEA ROM from scratch, and install ONLY this module, then it boots into the recovery WITHOUT TWRP into Recovery MUIU 5.0 and with TWRP in to Recovery TWRP.
Can you test it for me by disabling ONLY this module Safetyfix, and give your phone a reboot, if this still happens boots into the recovery?

I am noticing a large increase in battery consumption with xiaomi.eu 14. Before my battery would drop about 3% while idle about 8 hours sleeping. Now it is 16%.
When I checked battery usage, the bulk was for Android System, but after rebooting the battery usage data seems to have been reset and it's just a flat line.
I also experienced significant issues and even a fresh clean install from TWRP didn't help. I am happy on LineageOS 20 now.
I did another clean install, and after restoring my apps I uninstalled magisk and didn't debloat it, just in case there's an issue there somewhere. After charging it from ~20% to 100%, I used it for awhile. Then for 6 hours of rest, it went from 82% to 80%, so 2% which is about right.
I think the battery may need calibration after the upgrade. I'll probably try to debloat again next. I'm having a lot of issues with magisk lately, though, upgrade or not, so not sure about that.
I installed the update and faced the problem of installing apps from Google Play and apk files
Is there a solution to this problem ?

you need to install PackageInstaller.apk and then proceed to install applications
the app is removed from xiaomi.eu rom
System apps in local ROM are modified with their own translation . If the Package installer is used to update, there are collisions/corruption of the translation and some functions.
Therefore, the package installer was removed from the local ROM.
