Is it safe to install a ROM for an E5 Plus onto a normal E5? I'm wanting to upgrade to Android 10 and haven't found any ROMs for the E5, but have found LineageOS for the E5 Plus and wanted to know if it was fine to use that instead. My phones model, I think, is XT1920DL.

Run
Code:
fastboot getvar all
To find codename for the device.
Only use custom roms with that codename.

Is there any custom android 6 ROM that has Moto app? I meant THIS
OR, Does the ROM support the Moto features of :
Moto Display, Moto Voice, Moto Actions, etc... if you know what I mean. If so, give the link for that ROM
I can't afford to lose this, I love this mobile for those features.
OR ELSE, Is there a separate Moto app for a ROM, if so, please give the link for ROM with that Moto app
OR, Does the app directly from the Google Play Store works? If so, give the link for that ROM
Also, if you could give me the default CM13.0 link along with this, I'd be greatful
Here, the ROM I'm asking is totally Android 6.0, Marshmallow and the device is totally MOTO X (2013)
Thank you guys for the concern, you guys rock!
If you want to use Moto display, voice, and etc features, you should stay on stock.
There is no official CM13 for Moto X yet.
You can try Team octOS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/romghost-team-octos-oct-m-t3324780
Or search XDA forums for unofficial CM based marshmallow ROMs.

No, device support ended in 5.1.
And no custom 6.0.1 rom will have the Moto functions because that's proprietary and Lenovo won't release the drivers.

Fun Fact: CyanogenMod 12.1 is the latest CyanogenMod version available for Moto X, AND Moto G received 13 snapshot just a while back.

To be fair the 2013 Moto G was a much more popular device than the 2013 Moto X.
Even unofficial ROMs are becoming more rare to our device, I have a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and it received a very functional Nougat ROM just 5 days after official launch, meanwhile I don't see any interest from a kind developer in porting Nougat to our phone.
Despite that I don't see much reason to buy a new phone right now, my phone is fine even after more than 2 years owning it.
Hi everyone! I tried to flash stock Android One firmware with the script and it's perfect. But on Moto ROM there is the feature that hides the navigation bar. Can you please link the stock firmware Oreo for XT1900-7 version? And maybe fornthe other variants, maybe to help someone else
You can activate this feature with Nova Launcher.

Hi guys, I have a few questions before buying a Moto X4 (xt1900-01):
1- Can we unlocking bootloader?
2- Can we use Magisk with modules?
3 - Can we use twrp for flashing, backup and restore?
I have knowledge about unlocking bootloader, root, flashing with commands, etc. Now I have a Moto G5 Plus with rom AospExtended and Magisk with several modules and substratum themes. I would like to know if I will be able to modify something my new Moto X4.
Thanks!
I would like to know as well...the x4 seems abandoned on here. Which sucks because it has all the good specs!
I have a moto x4. You can unlock the bootloader with the fastboot unlock command. You can also flash twrp recovery, but right now there isn't really any custom roms you can flash it with. This forum has the recovery images:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x4/development/dev-testing-t3707432
I haven't tried magisk on the moto x4, but you can install it and use it. This forum has more information on it:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x4/development/root-moto-x4-t3696180
The main reason why there isn't much development for this device is because Motorola has only recently released the source code for the moto x4 on android Oreo. Hopefully we will have more roms for this device in the next few months
It would be better to buy this phone in a few months if you are using it for hacking and development purposes. It should be a little more cheaper then, and there should be more development.

Can you point to a device that has really decent Custom Rom support?
It has to be cheap, not over $450+++ expensive ones.
The only thing I can think of is Xiaomi Mi A1 and Mi 6.

The Android One version of the HTC U11 Life is treble-compliant, so in theory it could support any treble ROM. I don't know if anyone has actually tried it though. It has the same QC 630 SOC as the x4.
Good night friends.
I recently tried to install the Netflix App and it appeared that I am not using the correct Rom from my device. I have a Moto X4 1900-6 and installed Stock Rom: (link).
Do you know of any links to download Stock Rom for 1900-6.
tou can use the program Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant to download and flash.
