LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1.x (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

What's special about my build:
Sometimes I pick a few patches from the Lineage Gerrit before they are approved and merged into our trees.
The kernel is based on Lineage's one, but I have upstreamed with the latest patches from linux-stable, added a few things such as performance and battery tweaks, security and stability fixes, SafetyNet spoofing, additional kernel controls.... This kind of things

Hi,
it is a XT1541. I followed the steps of the OP, so wiped everything then flased both the rom and opengapps. After removing the sim-card during initial installation it worked, now so far everything looks ok. But why is this depending on the sim?

On pressing the power button the phone does not react and on long press for turning off the phone, the screen turns on.

Actually 3 lineage Rom are their, this one is different but the other 2 are same( I think so, not fully sure)

Taking pictures and shooting videos work either with the stock camera and the moto_camera_mod 6.2.14.4, good job.
If you're interested i've noticed that so far if you connect the phone to the pc you cannot transfer media but just charge it.

It worked but clicking on the notification and then trying to select MTP or charging still don't work, is that a bug or it's ok for it to be like this?

I've found the next issues: CPU heats, the launcher and the recents sometimes crash, and the battery drains fast.

Looks like an amazing Rom! Flashed it, but it seems unable to boot if the device is already encrypted... After showing the Lineage logo, if asks for a pin to drecrypt, although I used a pattern for encryption. If I wait for just a few seconds, the device shuts down automatically (showing the android "shutting down" window, and reboots to TWRP.
Maybe you can have a look into this? If I can provide a log or helping info, tell me

Moto G turbo {merlin} is neglected........

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Every time after restarting the phone it's automatically going to vibrate mode and I have to manually select the ring mode, not a very big issue for me may be a minor bug and also google photos app don't backup the photos or videos, it shows all the photos and videos but it always shows backing up but actually it won't, I already uninstall the app and reinstall it but still not solve it and also update the app too but still no luck, rest of the rom features r all working and very stable, VoLTE is working perfectly

Not able to connect to Jio Mobile data in roaming. have enabled data roaming.

On my device all is working fine (current official build).
Do clean flash and/or provide some logs.
Your post has no information to help you, it seems like you don't even know the aim of creating dev thread on xda forum and rules of posting bug reports.

Okay and i found few other major bugs too and after clean flash its working fine for regular ue but when i use for some more te i observed that my system ui crashes again and again dont know why is there any solution for this

As the OP stated, read the 1st post on this thread which details how to submit bug reports. You will get no help unless you give the developer proper information about your problem.

My phone stolen, grab my old A1 ..found this rom has vanila variants, grab NanodroidMicroG ....daank its perfect, i dont see much custom kernel for this device??

Dear Friend,
To avoid unnecessary problems, clean install should be performed always.
1. Format Data/Factory reset
2. Wipe System/Data/Dalvik/Internal
3. Follow your ROM installation process...

This rom seems great! But after installing the rom, my phones fast charging isn't working. Any solutions?

Is it stable build? What are the known issues?
Also I'm unable to find the rom for MI A1 since there's no device mentioned. Which one to download?

Picked this rom for giving second life to my GF phone , so far everything works like a charm!

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Z2 Play, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running treble TWRP recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
[*] Moto Camera does not work
[*] VoLTE and VoWIFI not working
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

If you can send/receive messages, can receive calls, but cant make them, download the two files from -Here and replace them in system/priv-app. You will need root for this
GSIs
This CRDroid build ships with Project Treble compatibility (lite VNDK), meaning you can flash a GSI as System Image from TWRP. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker. A Format Data from TWRP is required after flashing a GSI in order to avoid problems.
Technical details on our Treble implementation:
This device is a community-treble device, meaning other devs before us made it compatible with Project Treble (lite VNDK), using the oem partion as a vendor. GSIs still have some problems regarding cpu frequency scaling and camera. You have been warned.

Nice rom, thank you for you work!
I've encountered two problems though:
One problem is default usb mode - after setting it you cannot change mode after pluging into usb (option other then default are inactive).
Second problem - rom is a bit unstable. To be exact: when I wake the phone via active display (waving hand over the phone or moving the phone) sometimes screen turns on correctly, sometimes doesn't wake at all, and sometimes shows only the status bar and nothing else. Strange.
Fingerprint scanner cannot be configured in all these new-december roms? Configured for example to wake/sleep the phone, or volume setting etc, not just as a fingerprint scanner. Such possibility was in 8.1 AOSP some time ago, it was really awesome.

The usb issue we haven't been able to reproduce, so for now it is what it is.
On to your second point, that's all handled by crDroid, there's nothing from device side that interacts with how the screen is drawn when that happens, so i wouldn't know what to tell ya
Lastly, would you mind showing how that worked? I've never seen it in any of the 8.1 roms i used
