Hi guys,
Few days ago i noticed my Battery start to drain a little but fadter than normally.
When i looked i see that Google play is the major Battery consumer. What could be the reason. I havn't even download any app from it. Why? What could i do?

Yes, it started a few days ago on most of Huawei and Honor smartphones. The only way is to roll back to the previous version of Google Play and to switch off its internet and switch it on only if necessary, but it updates itself at the same moment as you give him an access to internet, so you have to roll back then again and again, until they fix that issue.
The Google`s support still doesn`t recognize it as a problem.
Has anyone dealt with this strike on us? Having done everything else against Huawei now they want to crush our batteries...
Me too, but now I turn off Play store and after half day it's better. Maybe seriously Google want to destroy Huawei batteries ??
Fix problem by clear cache and data for Google Play Services.

Hello,
I just received my brand new Note 5 today.... Everything it's okay..... But I keep getting Google play services stopped when I try to open keep or Android pay.... Everything else is working fine except Google Keep and Android Pay....
Please help... What can I do
Mine did this too while setting it up last night. I havent seen it happen since though after the one time.
Go in to Application Manager and find Play Services. It probably needs to be updated. After I took the AT&T update I started getting "services error" messages and got a notification that there was a Play Services update available.

Clear cache, data. Should be good,.
Firstly, I know, I know.. I should have done a fresh install when I upgraded from a N8 to an N9.
I clicked on a link in the stock email app to thank an Amazon customer, and I got the attached.. I was hoping it would show Chrome and Samsung Internet as option. Not sure what happened here. Originally I thought perhaps my device unlocked note 9 had chrome preinstalled but even so I cannot find my own restored copy to delete.

Wow thanks. I did uninstall updates of Chrome and now it no longer shows two of them. However no matter what I do I cannot set or get Samsung Internet to open links from the stock email. Like the one I posted earlier.

Well, I had two instances of Goole Play store, though now it has gone away...
Hi. After an upgrade to emui 9.0 and Android pie 9.0 everything was pretty darn smooth.
That is, until, my bank updates their app. Then this:

However, this Phone is clean. As you know you must have the damn bootloader code from Huawei to modify this thing, I never got that far, so I could never do anything to the Phone.
The old app works just fine, and due to my work i have an app for atleast 7 other Banks as well, so im assuming this bank (my primary bank) has done a boo boo and ****ed up their root check somehow.
The bank of course doesnt believe me.
My question is: What could possibly give this app a false positive root check? Do you guys know about any settings that might trigger it?
Im hoping I dont have to factory reset this thing.

As you can see I'm on 12 beta. I had to reset my phone yesterday due to a bootloop which has never happened on this phone but it is a beta version of Android so I wasn't worried. But I have never seen this before. Oh and when I restored my Google account it would not restore my phone settings it did restore everything else though like contacts and apps.

According to this it seems to be new Android 12 restrictions stopping apps running in the background from launching things in the foreground. I imagine it's Gboard trying to launch some sort of update as identified by the app name and the fact that it happens to me overnight.
Hi on my Realme C11 2021, which is though a very good phone, I am seeing most of the times this 'about this app' section on different apps is missing except the first paragraph. It's a Go edition device so has most likely has an optimised play store as well. Google support team said to clear cache and app data and update which I did but it didn't solve the issue. New device minimal use I don't think I should factory reset. Anyway is it Play store bug or Realme issue or my individual issue? And what can I do? Thanks.

I need some feedback on this also because it seems to be a problem with me too. The only way to fix it is if I do a data wipe and start over again, but it happens again later

Are you facing the problem on Android Go edition or regular Android?
