Very nice ROM indeed. Beautiful.
So far only one bug that I could find: In "Settings > Havoc Settings > Buttons > Menu Button", the settings for Single tap action and Long press action are not functional and always do the default action, no matter the actual setting. Setting Double tap action does work, though.
Edit: Notification lights do not seem to be working either.
Edit 2: Sounds and Digital Wellbeing keep crashing whenever you try to change, for example, a notification/ring tone or set a night light schedule, respectively.
Edit 3: Sounds crashes resolved by uninstalling updates to that app.

Also, Advanced Reboot options seem to be missing. Is that possible, or am I going blind?
Edit: At least version 2.1 has them under "Settings > Havoc settings > Buttons > Power menu".

Where does the ROM store the wallpaper? I want to save 2.0’s wallpaper and use it in 2.1, but I can’t find the file…

This is awesome. I just dug my old S4 out for my kid yesterday. It's a 720 though, do you think this will be available on that version?

Even after clean install the new version I can't make a phone call. When I click on green earphone (icon), phone automaticly reboot (it's look like a hot reboot on some custom roms). This was on clean installed Havoc OS with magisk and gapps from open gapps (pico version). Recovery version i used is 3.2.3.0 and modem "I9506XXSDPL2_I9506XXUDOJ2_bootmodem". Another bug I found, when I try to search something in settings phone app is force closing.
Nevermind, I install same rom twice.
I can confirm the second upload 2.1 version is free of bugs. Phone calls working fine, search in settings too. I think this is the fastest rom I ever tested. Battery could be better, but I give time, maybe in the future something will make battery life better.

I have the very same issues even after installing version 2.1 with build date: 20190114.
Except notification lights seems to work.
When I try to change ringtones/notification sounds the app crashes.
Lower left menu button (not navbar) is not customizable.
Digital wellbeing crashes.
Otherwise it's a great ROM! I'm having good battery life.

Also I noticed that gesture typing doesn't work with Swedish keyboard on the preinstalled AOSP keyboard. I'm using both English and Swedish. Gesture typing is excellent in English. Don't know if any other keyboard language is having the same issue.

Hi
I'm having the same problem and I found out that's when the sounds app (Sounds 2.0 (223598125) is updated automatically by the play store the app crashes!
The way I had to change the sounds is to disable the automatic updates of the play store and disable the updated version and then activate the app..., when deactivating the app will ask if you want to go back to the factory version, say yes and activate the app. Was a quick way to get around the problem to go back and be able to change my sounds
The next update of the rom will be fixed, I hope!

I don't know why you made a new thread for Havoc, since the version you post in the link is similar to the other thread, and the features hence remain the same. No noticeable difference.
Literally every problem that users post in the other thread still persist (probably because wrong link posted by OP, so I actually installed the same one with the other thread).
Also, the build device ID is still wrong like previous version. In some part, written as "riva", while some written "rolex".

Ram management could be a little better.
Night light feature isn't working same for Color inversion.
Sometimes when dismissing a notification, the 'keep showing notification' opens.

Yup I also faced volte problem
And WiFi speed only limits to 49-50 kbps
And also calls does not show up sometimes need to reboot to make it work

What about Riva?

Thing which are not so perfect.
1_ Nightlight(yellow tint).
2_Grayscale(digital wellbeing (wind up)).
3_Charge cycle(doesn't show anything).
4_Battery life (5 hrs max expected another 30 mins or so because my phone is almost 2 years old.)
5_Google feed(left most page on the launcher) is laggy.
6_FM doesn't work.
7_Update section is broken ("cannot check for updates not connected to the internet").
8_Google sound app.
Rest all is very good, don't want to pin point.
I need some help with GCmod how can I increase noise reduction when using front camera. If I cannot do that then how to lesser the grains.
By the way keep up the goodwork and I think it's the best pie ROM I have ever tried on my rolex.

Anyone facing issue like random freezing? My device is getting freezed frequently. I need to force restart my device in this situation.

No, works perfectly fine.

Magisk
Magisk won't install on my phone after flashing this custom ROM, I don't know what the problem is.
Whenever I flash Magisk, it will always successfully flash. After rebooting into the system and checking if it installed, it isn't. What could be the problem? Thanks.

Download and install Magisk manager APK after flashing, installing before flashing recommended.

Flash older magisk 17.0 and update to 18.0. It worksssss

ROM is uploading now, probably about 5 to 10 minutes. I do not use the Axon 7. I am currently on the OnePlus 7 Pro. I am not sure about that kernel question but I think it will work. If not then he needs to update to the newest kernel source.

I've tested it since 2-3 days.
It's quite good.
Some issues:
- there's a little glitch on the wallpaper when I light on the screen
- I've got issues with outlook and links to chrome. I worked once, not anymore
I did not tested gps, nfc, bluetooth nor gestures.
The battery is good.
And the proximity captor makes the screen display the clock like it did with stock rom and I like that
I don't see much differences with Android 9. I need more info to test Android 10

nice work! could you help to add Chinese version(victara_retcn/xt1085) support?
I had tried to flash the rom but failed with error msg "E1001: Failed to update system image".
so I returned to MK81.0 now.

I tried installing 3.4.
On first boot, after installing and setting the account you must set security schema or pin code and also your face for face recognition.
Or face recognition app crashes all the time.
I tried installing 2 times: one with schema, one with pin code and you must add your face there's no way to skip it.
So can't install 3.4

Choose any option and skip, thats all. This s** is broken for 32 bit devices and will be removed soon. Also you can opt for bitgapps.

I managed to install 3.4 by not setting a google account on first boot.
Then I was able to skip face recognition when adding an account afterwards.

Which version of gApps should I flash

Try flashing twrp zip and reboot to recovery and flash gapps (10).

What are the chances of getting a one-handed mode working on this ROM? Along with the V4A and Substratum compatibility, it's my favorite feature. The ROM is running great. Do is the AICP ROM. I guess it's going to be up to the development community from now on. Thank you for what you do. We essential phone loyalist sure love the bones of this thing.

Feedback : Rom is amazing.. Battery, lightweight, fast & highly customizable.
Bugs : Mic not working for apps like Hangout meet, text now and google voice.
Improvements : Support fast chargers. I do use Pixel charger and other roms support it. works fine with Essential's charger.

The original post has been updated with better installation instructions. Try following those and see if OpenGapps flashes successfully.

Looking forward to trying this ROM.
A question though - Installation steps #3 & #4 seem to indicate that both ROM zip & TWRP zip files need to be installed to BOTH first and second slots. Is that intended? Can someone please confirm if they have done exactly that while flashing this ROM onto their phone.

Any issues with In-call volume? Both AICP15 and QRdroid (most recent) blasted my ears off no matter how I tried to turn the volume down. Ended up going back to stock. It was that or electrical tape over the earpoiece.

I installed it successfully, apart from some rare graphical glitches and mic not working in calls the rom is great

I suggest try cleanslate Q Kernal on the next build.

In call volume is a bit buggy. Seems like an issue across a few Q Roms. In my phone, the default in call volume is very loud. Pressing the volume down key has no effect. Pressing the volume up key until the slider hits halfway and then going back down does adjust the volume. I've created a Tasker profile that does this each time the phone goes off-hook, so its manageable.

- Speaker volume issue
Needs to improve:
- A little lag in performance
- Mic not working for apps like Hangout and etc. - Whatsapp working fine.
- A significant drop on battery life.
- Other Fast Chargers not supported.
- Bluetooth FCs (fixes on reboot)

Anyone else get Hey Google to work? It just says "something went wrong" when trying to enable it.
