So the lcd screen on my Dinc has a huge crack in it but the front glass one is alright. Anyone know where i can get a cheap lcd screen or if anyone has one?

Hi everyone, I've searched through the forums and thus far everyone has recommended replacing the entire LCD / Glass assembly rather than just the Glass / Digitizer. I've got a beat up I537 that I don't want to spend the $150 to $200 on the LCD assembly whereas I can buy the digitizer / glass off of Ebay for $35. I don't care about the warranty or waterproof so I was wondering if anyone has had any success with replacing just the digitizer and glass? If so, I would really appreciate any guidance or links to videos / step by step videos that you can provide.

How did you end up going with this, mate? I just ordered the part and was about to attempt the same thing.
So I applied the screen protector and everything was fine until I noticed that while Im on the phone with someone and I cant turn my screen on. The screen protector covered that sensor and I had to throw it away, along with my 12$...
Anyone had a similar problem? Maybe I applied it wrong?

contact the seller you got it from, if you bought from ebay or amazon or used paypal you should be able to get your money back. It is a know fault.
I received the updated Spigen protector today with the proper cutout for the motion sensor. It fits and works perfectly now!
I just contacted Spigen through Amazon. Hopefully I can get mine replaced with the correct cutouts

Based on this I would imagine it's a full screen replacement as the acoustic vibration doo-hickey is attached as well...
