Viper4Android on Oreo 8.1 Roms

Hi All,
I've been able to successfully install Viper on several Oreo Roms - it works fine for internal speaker and wired headphones. However as soon as I connect my Bluetooth Headphones (Sony MDR1000X) the driver state changes to Abnormal and Viper stops processing - meaning I don't get Viper goodness through my Bluetooth headphones.
I've tried every which way to install Viper, various APK's, Flashable Zips, all available in Magisk, ARISE sound system, etc..
The same occurs across all Oreo Roms. Works fine on Nougat Roms...
Any ideas? Anyone else see the same behaviour?

How did you installed V4A on Oreo 8.1? I'm running LOS 15.1 on Mi6 I can't figured it out how to install it. Classic I/O error...

I have this exact same problem, have you found any solution to this yet?

The only Oreo ROM I was able to get this working on was the MIUI Oreo. I no longer own the Mix, moved to a Note 8. Hope you guys get to the bottom of this!

SOLVED! Just ROOT your device with latest Magisk (using v16 now), open Magisk menu tap downloads and type "viper4android" and then download and install "ViPER4Android FX for Magisk v15" module. Now you are good to go!

Just tested the ROM for the Note Pro. Works fine so far, a little weak battery, but that's the major problem of the phone since the beginning.

Still looking for fixing green cam when video call using Whatsapp bro, I think the problem is volte mode, when I try to active volte mode from magisk module, then using video call Whatsapp, then I got notice that "can't use camera for this moment, try to restart if you still see this issue".
So when I unable volte mode, I can use WhatsApp for video call, but front cam and rear cam being green.

Ok i decided to try this rom and it is not bad. Today is my first full day using my old note pro with this rom and sim. I have a 3 hours screen time and 4 hours Spotify and i can't remember on miui life like this, so it is a good rom. APTX work with my KZ ZS5 and sound is excellent. Beside how to activate VoLTE i want to know if there is a way to activate camera2appi for using g cam, on miui 9 is easy, but here old method doesn't work.

I wondered that if there is any possibility to enable Double Tap To Wake on Mokee 100.0 ? Thanks a lot

With new update 9 Pie MR2 Razer Phone 2 cannot Root !!!

There is new update pushed today for RP2 with a lot of improvement.
I wonder if someone can Root this. I try many times to root with no luck so i returned to previous update to root.
I just want to install Magisk nothing more.

when i bought the phone it has already the new update the December release cuz my phone is used and that's why i'm looking for a way to root it i tried too many ways and my phone keeps bricking and i have the global version.

Make sure you're using thr proper kernel to root latest global.

What steps have failed? Magisk Manager does properly patch the MR2 boot.img from the stock firmware. Happy to help if you're running into trouble.

Question Urgent question- Mi 11 Ultra 4G/5G issue

Hi guys, I'm so happy to join the mi community. Please help me with an urgent connection problem on my new 11 ultra.
It shows "LTE/5G" on the right top, next to the battery sign. However, I do not get any data (browser/chrome) on my phone.
Does it matter with unlocking or not? (because it shows LTE sign but does not actually get anything)
Can I solve it by install EU rom or Global rom?
Mi 11 Ultra -
Carrier: (GSMA/ATT) Red Pocket Mobile
Model: M2102K1C (Chinese version)
Rom: MIUI V12.0.10.0.RKACNXM stable

Answer is simple, search for your carrier APN details and update it manually. You'll have everything working perfect, the only issue is you have to repeat it at every factory reset or rom change. But do not worry if you'll keep the same rom at all times.

When you add the new APN, don't change existing one, just create new one and use it.

Also, seems like you are not on latest software update. Try to update your device over wifi, maybe new settings are added to your new software and you do not have to do it manually

I saw several people talking about att does not work. so i switch to t mobile mvno, but still does not work.

Also try to do reset network settings. Might work.
Have you tried different browser? Could be another reason

Touch screen not working after latest update

Hello,
I have upgraded my S20 FE 5G to the latest firmware version (G781BXXS5HWD4). But the right edge of the touch screen stopped working after that. I have also cleared Android system cache. Nothing is helping.

the security patch is from april.
If you don't have a solution, download the March patch system.
It's the maximum you can download.
you are already binary 5
You are tied to android 13 without being able to go down to 12 or 11.
have a backup
First of all, you can do factory reset.
If it doesn't work, do what I said above.

I downgraded to G781BXXU5HWCH with factory reset. But the issue is still there.
I think it might be physical damage somehow. Thanks for the help anyways.

It mentions that it was after an update.
It wouldn't make sense to something physical.
but let us never doubt anything in this life.
wait for the May patch.
