Using the One Click Lag Fix from the market. It works well dunno if its "the best".

[Q]New Gingerbread JVH kernel

is someone going to make a JVH kernel?
or the JVB kernel will work on the JVH ROM?

Heard a few people say it wont work with JVH. Haver to wait a little longer.

unless source comes out for JVH, then you wont be seeing any reoriented kernels....someone will probably find a way to make JVB kernel work with JVH rom though.

By any chance you use OCKs theme?
Its in this file resources.arsc in the settings.apk
(What I get asgard is a custom rom from the vibrant forum?)

There's a great theme for 2.2.1 JPY/JS3 called Generation X.
It is the best theme I've tried and is the only one I would use if I ever go back to froyo.
