Hello,
My screen shows dithering once in a while and the colours look washed out. However, I am unable to replicate it and so can't get it fixed. Any fixes or any idea how I can replicate the dithering so that I can get support on this?
Never heard or faced such issue.

Hi,
I bought a Xiaomi Mi 8 yesterday and I have noticed today when taking some test pics that the flickering (banding/white pulsing effect) was really bad under LED lights.
I know this is "normal" but I compared with my old S7 Edge and some random colleagues iPhone 6 and the flickering was definitely much worse on the Mi 8.
I tried to change the band frequency in the settings but the improvements were minor.
Can this be a defect of my phone or does the Mi 8 camera just sucks on this?
Cheers
Hello dear owners of the Xiaomi Mi 9T, I'm having an issue here with my brand new Mi 9T Pro. My friend has the same phone, but it's not a pro model, his phone has a little purple animation around the camera when it retracts, but mine doesn't. Even though it's enabled in settings, it won't show the purple animation. I received the phone stock on MIUI 10.3.3 but updated it to 10.3.4 hopefully to solve the issue, but the animation is still not working, can anybody please help ? Thanks in advance
This feature (purple glow) isn't since miui11 ?

Can someone tell me what to do ??
TL;DR: Green tint that appears severely on 90hz, slightly on 120hz, and disappears on 60hz. What to do?
Hello,
I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a fix or a way to help reduce this green tint I'm facing in xiaomi.eu.
I'm experiencing a green tint or heightened contrast which targets darker colors that specifically appears on 90hz (much more apparent), slightly on 120hz and disappears in 60hz. I've posted about in Xiaomi.eu forums but I've basically been told it's all in my head and they never did anything regarding the display's refresh rate.
The phone worked perfectly fine on the Chinese stock ROM with no issues to mention about the display. The tint issue spans the whole screen aswell so please don't tell me it's a hardware issue when I didn't have it on China ROM.
So, if there's no fix, is it possible to flash over to a global ROM or go back to the Chinese ROM with OTAs intact from xiaomi.eu? I'd rather put up with ****ty bloatware and Chinese ads than spend another minute with contrasts going haywire everytime I go to recent tabs or everything appearing grey in 120hz just because the devs think there's no problem with it despite CLEARLY me having an issue.
I am on Mi 11 SE, MIUI.eu 12.6 (21.4.14) Beta
Someone on Mi 11 global rom 12.5.5 stable xiaomi eu rom reported the same issue that I have too.
Investigating the possible causes of stuttering using the 90hz screen, I came across some users of poco x3 (which has a 120hz screen) reporting a similar problem.
As one of the possible solutions, some users decided to disable the device's DynamicSwitch in order to lock it at 90 or 120hz.
Has anyone tested this procedure on poco m3 pro?
a pilot global ota update was released. it seems 90hz now works fine. also the extra memory bug is fixed
