How do I know what verison is my Diamond ?

Well, I just got a new Diamond and wanted to find out what is the ROM version, etc. And is there a standard version that everyone use ? What is the best version to flash into and what difference does it make compare to stock ?

Settings->System->Device Information for info on your ROM etc, for the others... try the search button

I looked in there and got this:
CE OS 5.2.19591 (Build 19591.1.1.6)
Thats not the Rom version is it ?

as Dan168 rightly said Settings->System->Device.
when you go there how many tabs on the bottom of the screen do you have
and can see one that says version ?

Most likely not, that unit does not look like a MTC unit.
You need to go into settings and find the MCU version. Based on that you can then find out if and what can be flashed.

Yes. Definitely not MTC. You cannot flash any MTCB/C/D ROM.

If you can get an updated ROM from your seller, yes.
You can also search these forums for your MCU and see if there is any custom (or updated) ROM for your unit.

To be quite honest I don't really care about custom ROMs anymore, but I also know that Exynos chips are not the easiest to develop for. I'm just here to find a GCam mod that works.

Because nobody with an a33 is willing to develop for it.
Right now I'm trying to do TWRP for it with the help of a tester.

My personal opinion is about custom roms, for now they are good but they have some nasty issues. I tried POS for more than 4 days and now I'm back to RUI with root. Let's see how far this phone goes with custom roms, but for now I'll wait. I don't want to offend the developers, I even thank them for what they do!
