Hi guys, i have a problem.
I've tried to install xposed but i bricked my device, so i flashed the old firmware (only cust.img,boot.img,system.img and recovery.img) and now..the phone is working but the sim is not detected..any idea to solve this?
[UPDATE - I've stock rom and i'm on b133 firmware]
You need to go to stock firmware B052, stock recovery and wipe data after fully installation.
Then you need to do an OTA update to 170 and then and OTA update to 180.
After update to one of those OTA updates, your ril (sim) will work again without a problem.

Here is the post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/huawei-p8-lite-android-6-0-marshmallow-t3309796 download the B152 firmaware and flash it, you can follow the instructions provided by the OP. after that maybe you will recover yoir IMEI or you wont, in any case just update via OTA to 177 version and the IMEI will be restored, exactly the same thing happened to me and that was how I solved
regards
PD In the case you have the balong issue here is the fix for the B152
You can also download it from here:
http://hi6210sft.blogspot.be/2016/05/unbrick-huawei-p8-lite-via-fastboot.html#more
that happended to me when i downgraded but if you OTA update that should sort the problem out, thats what work for me anyway.
Wondering whether anybody's found success in flashing the EVA-L09C02B340 firmware via dload?
It didn't seem to work for B339 but hoping for the best with this one.
Thanks for any helpful replies
Edit: Just tried flashing via dload but installation failed (oh well)
Hello!
I have a P9 Plus that I wish to update from Marshmallow (L29C636B170) to Nougat (L29C636B362), but I am unable to because I keep on getting this message when I try to update...
http://i.imgur.com/2m7sV4I.jpg
"Software Install Failed!
Failed to check the update package.
Please download the package again".
I have tried using different firmware versions like B320 but the same error appears.
This phone used to have a custom TWRP recovery, but was returned to stock, and I fully unrooted my phone. I then use the Huawei Updater to send the package to HiSuite and find the firmware using Firmware Finder. I still have an unlocked bootloader however. Am I missing anything?
Cheers,

Try relock the bootloader.
How do I relock the bootloader? I tried using fastboot oem lock to relock but it says that the command isnt allowed.
just simply force update dload of update.app if you are in B170 then use update.app of B170 and force dload by push 3 button same time
Okay, it seems I have solved this question with the help of Mostar088 and itongx. Special thanks to them!
The first problem was that the firmware I had was to old to update to Nougat. I had to install L29C636B202 using HiSuite. This updates the firmware to B202. Updating to B202 makes it capable of upgrading to Nougat. So, I then install L29C636B370 to my phone using HiSuite and Huawei Updater. So far, I'm loving the update and none of my files were deleted, however, this doesn't mean you shouldn't back up.
Cheers.

Hi, i have a P8 lite 2017. It's a single sim phone with hardware of a dual sim. I want to flush the software and install the dual sim P8Lite 2017 software. How do I do this, please help..
I did a rollback to EVA-L19C636B190 and after the rollback there was an update. I didn't download it yet and proceeded to allow the oem unlocking first and now it wont OTA update anymore. I'll do the manual update so if you have the files please share! if you have another method to make OTA work please tell me. Thanks in advance!
UPDATE: I somehow got the OTA when my dload failed. I found a update pack that for C636 and it failed to install but afterwards I could do the OTA coz it reset my whole system I think

Install b182 (still MM) and you should then receive OTA upgrades to b38x, b39x (Nougat)

I still don't understand why you don't 'like' OTAs. In System Update, Settings, you can always choose Full Update instead of default Differential. And you can force afterwards Factory Reset if you think you need.
b386 is the last flashable by DLOAD. Btw, I was going back and forth through diff stock and rooted and custom ROMs, rollbacks, OTAs, and never had any error in installations. There are many threads with excellent info and guides, you must read and follow because in diff situations methods might be different. DLOAD is not always applicable
