Lightheart 1.0 - The key to speed.
Hi everyone. My name is Skulldron and for those of you who do recognise me, know me as the creator of Project Pixel, another one of the greatest ways to emulate the Pixel Experience, whilst keeping all the benefits of using OneUI and its stock optimized drivers as its base. Today I'm going to introduce something, different. Over the years of working on Touchwiz based ROMs, I've learnt the description of every little apk, every little permission, what it accepts and what it rejects, its pros and its cons. As a result of this experience, I have one of the best debloat lists out there, with each item on the debloat list, being tested, through extensive testing, and it goes over every file and every partition known in the OneUI OS. This exact same debloat script was used in Project Pixel, which has received positive review after positive review for how efficient and how lightweight OneUI became after the debloat. Today however, I present to you Lightheart OS, a new project that I will be building myself and updating monthly. Today I showcase Lionheart, the Lineage OS to my Cyanogenmod.
Key Features:
1. Heavily Debloated System: The debloat script that was made by me, has over 250+ debloated permissions, apks and other files.
2. Better Battery Performance due to Efficiency - With the removal of an incredible amount of bloat, along with better performance and lesser services, you should be looking at better SOTs and better standby times.
3. Kernel Power Control: With MTweaks and Magisk, you will be able to control your device’s clock speed and be able to force higher GPU and CPU Clock, when doing more intensive tasks such as gaming.
4. Better Kernel Performance - Due to the deepness of the debloat, the kernel now has more RAM and more space to be more efficient and allow it to focus on less threads at once.
5. Latest available patch with the promise of updates every month - Every month an update is released, the ROM will be updated along with it, with a time frame of 1-2 weeks.
6. Restored some stock Google Permissions - Some stock google framework was restored, such as the default setup wizard.
7. All Essential Samsung Features have been kept - All essential OneUI features have been kept alive, for the sole purpose of necessity.
8. Completely Deknoxed -The ROM has been Deknoxed and FRP lock measures have been disabled
9. VoLTE Supported
Individual Features:
1. AdAway
2. Eleven Music
3. Files GO
4. GBoard
5. Android Pie AOSP Emojis
6. Lightheart X Boot Animation
7. AOSP System Sounds
8. Samsung Gallery (Stripped Down and lightened to improve performance)
9. Samsung's Stock Camera with HDR parameter changes, debloated and additional video modes
10. SystemUI Tuner (Provides battery stats along with other useful customizations - Check QS icons and add it to QS Panel to view)
11. YouTube Vanced (Ad-free Youtube)
12. Mtweaks (Has Hardware Control - Similar to Kernel Adiutor but more tailored to Exynos)
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: (Backup everything, including contacts, photos etc.)
1. Download the zip and download the latest Magisk (ROM will not boot if Magisk is not flashed due to encryption procedures)
2. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik Cache and Cache
3. Flash the zip and flash Magisk.
Notes:
- To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
- Set Trebuchet as default launcher, for better battery savings. OneUI Home was only included for its app switcher.
Changelog:
1.0 - Initial Release
If changes are made, they will be highlighted in the next post.

I'm with you too, I love one UI but I hate the the one ui camera, It's down the quality and colors. I tried many one ui roms even different versions they released in my s7 edge like BlackDiamond, Note FE and FloydQ. These all roms are great and rich of new features but the cam is the problem.. It's not clear and quality than stock cam.. if you look carefully you can seen the deference of the stock cam and one ui cam. So I decided to go back my oreo rom.. please anyone can make oreo cam work with pie..

I will try it bro..
Very good start of the project because it is very compact, only certain things would have to be improved, such as solving the ug that you cannot play videos directly from the first screen of the vanced, or that the weather does not work correctly since it is fixed in another location without power replace because the gps does not start at all, and the camera libraries are not good since you can not change the video resolution of the rear camera. There are some details that I found but to be the initial one if it is quite good.

a new old rom
I'm very glade to see on tomorrow morning that a new rom project is coming : Lightheart.
I've download it, attempt to install it but I'm facing to a bootloop after enter sim code.
I've attempt 3, 4 times again to install it, after a deep reset but always the same bootloop.
Could anyone help me.
I've notice that when I install it from twrp, the first line is "Project Pixel P v1.0.1"not Lightheart 1.0. Why ?
Does lightheart starts to update project pixel rom ?
PS : A new official update is published :

Mod edit: Translation I also feel the same. Rom is very smooth, but sometimes it's a little stiff and then normal. Settings cannot enter Samsung account, so it cannot be restored. The messaging software does not show notifications ...
Thanks for your work, will consider trying it out. One question ahead: has this ROM WiFi-Calls? I have barely a cellphone signal at my appartement, that's why it is important for me. Thank you.
I've modded this rom,
- replace touchwiz or tribuchet by lighting launcher
- replace messaging by pulse
- video player by mxplayer
- files by es file explorer pro (new version is free and addon free)
- delete all samsung apk and replace samsung contact, dialer, callUi and telephoneUi by true phone dialer
This rom works perfectly at this time
Only one question : I've replace QuickPic by another one apk. How can I open photos directly from apk camera with this new one photo editor like it could be do with quickpic ?
Best regards

What I did was, launch google play store app through google assistant, then type in fluid navigation gestures and install. Then turn on navigation within the app. Or simply go to magisk app and uninstall under modules, reboot, and once you have the fluid navigation gestures set up try again. It shouldn't break anything else. Fingerprint works and same for safetynet. I am on stock rom and kernel with magisk.

Thank You very much for the Reply!
The Fluid Navigation workaround is needed since any ROM breaks since Pie when i add content to the System. Especially when i add Folders to priv-app. Same happens with the Systemless way i use right now. I think it has something to do with the Permission handling of Pie Systems but i found nothing in the Web yet...
I'm really looking forward to push the App within the Patch, with the Option to keep the default Navigation Bar while installing (Volume Key Selector Method). For now do we have to do it like You said. The easiest way will be to setup Fluid Navigation Gestures before installing the Module. Only Important will be that You don't use the Navbar Hide from within the App (Causes missing space on the bottom of the Display). I also talked to the App Creator to make the Setup more easy, think it will just be a matter of time till we can use it without additional (user) efforts...
There is a lot to come with the next Versions. Hope You will like it

I wouldn't call it "Mod", but no. You can use the default Navigation bar by changing qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 to qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 on the System Prop from the Patch, or You can wait for the Update which contains Options for that. I'm currently working on AROMA to include also Busybox and Magisk to deliver the full ROM/Patch Package. AROMA will also allow Me to give Users more choices about what will be flashed. It's everything just in a early phase.

OK, cool
The info post is a little bit misleading is this only for pixel devices? Or for any device bit Snapdragon 835+ if yes can I use it with my Xiaomi mi 8 (Snapdragon 845)?

It's made for Android close to AOSP Pie. Miui could cause conflicts with the given Configs (Audio, Camera or even Bootloops). Snapdragon 835 should be the minimum based on the given Quality Settings. Older SoCs may face missing Audio, lags or other Problems. That how i keep it since the Nexus 6. Every new SoC and Android Version needs new Configs which may not work on older Ones. Hope that explains it better

Options for the Navbar will be no Problem with the next release. I found out why ROMs bootloop with new Apps in priv-app:

PixelNougat V1.0 - By Team Pixel
Hey Everyone! Pixel Nougat is a custom firmware that ports most of the features from a Pixel Device to a Samsung Firmware. This build has been based on the Pixel XL. 6. Google Chrome

Finallly!!! A ROM that I can rely on as a daily driver. I just installed it a few mins ago and its lightning quick and has Pixel features! Thanks dev for the great work!
waiting for more comments...and mark..I may try in a few days
Installed it (as I kept having camera and hotspot problems on LineageOS) a few hours ago. It's great and everything works so far as I can tell. I don't like Samsung's UI (much preferred AOSP derivatives), but having access to original tweaks (color calibration, night mode etc.) is indeed very convenient. And it's really fast, at least as fast as LineageOS.
Congrats!
installed it last night
but I have the problem with sync the contacts from google, and sync chrome data also not work, shall I flash google app pack? which one recommended?

Same here with Contacts. The right permissions are granted, but the account is not recognized. However, if I try to enter it manually, I am told it's already on the device..
Chrome syncs, however.
One more point. Chrome syncs - but Google does not, in the sense that app passwords recorded by Google (and working on other devices) are not available, for instance.
Otherwise, great rom.
ok everything works...
No issue with contacts.. but I did dirty flash over the experience rom..
Issue with calendar, unable to open, requesting to activate the calendar storage.. on inspection the Calendar provider is in the system/priv-app folder, but maybe the incorrect version as it doesn't appear to be 'installed'
Installed version 7.0 for nougat and replaced over the original in twrp.. now working fine...
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...se/calendar-storage-7-0-android-apk-download/
Regarding editing photos... you should be able to choose editing tools in googles 'Photo' app from the camera..

Oh a please do not have Magisk Manager app in the system storage... should never really be in the system storage..
I use the Hide Magisk Manager option, to stop it being detected by certain apps that looks for it, it is then suppose to uninstall the original version.. However it cant if it is in the system storage...
Apologies stock camera missing gallery
Any separate install available to re add this ?
Any update to pixel android 11
Hey guys! This ROM is still discontinued, but I found an old updated build I did. I have no clue whether it boots or what changes were made, so you have been warned. Please make backups. Here's the link if you're interested in flashing it, its build number is higher than the one posted on main thread so its definitely newer.

Project Pixel P 1.0
What is Project Pixel?
Project Pixel is a small team of developers that work on porting most, if not all of the Google Pixel features to stock firmwares.
We mostly specialize in Stock Samsung Firmwares, although we may do work on ports of OneUI once in a while. Our objective is to deliver the best performance by using stock firmware whilst also improving upon it by debloating and tweaking whilst also giving you all the features of a Pixel device.
Pixel Pie 1.0 Feature List:1. AdAway

10. Google Clock
11. Google Contacts
12. Google Keep (With Handwriting Libs)
13. Google Lens (Works within Google Photos and Recents in Pixel Launcher)

Hey guys, some things:
1) Read the first post if you don't know how to fix the dialer problem. I get this a lot.
2) This is the new version of Team Pixel, so the old thread will re-start here.
3) The rom currently doesn't boot when you don't flash Magisk. It's something with the stock rom, so flash Magisk after you flash the rom.
Looks good among the two other ROMs for Note FE which I see many people complain about them!
Can anybody confirm if from experience it's better than stock or not?
Is it same as the previous PIXEL PIE-1 or new update?

Some feedbacks for this rom are Screen Off Memo and write on screen features are not working. Beside that everything is fantastic. This rom gives me the most stable mobile network and signal amongst the others and I didn't have to reset and manually set my network in order to receive and make calls like other roms, they all shared the same problem from stock to custom except this one
which gcam 6.3 version works with Note FE exynos pie?
I thought only gcam 5.1 is stable, 6.1 and 6.2 are full of bugs/crash
I'm having problems figuring out how to get root access on this ROM.
- I've unlocked Developer options (there seems to be nothing in there).
- I've installed SuperSU from the App store. It doesn't see root.
- I've tried the root method from the base installer; installing the TWRP Hack from Download mode. No luck.
- I've tried installing SuperSU from TWRP. That causes the system to boot loop.
- I've tried updating Magisk. That causes the system to boot loop.
I feel like there is something super simple I am missing.
Hello. Is this tested on bootloader v5?

I'm using the bootloader from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-fe/how-to/sm-n935f-ds-how-to-flash-twrp-root-t3733030
I can confirm that works. That one is Bootloader v5.
I should state that the only version of Magisk that works from what I've found is the one in this thread. Newer versions cause bootloops.

I actually planned on getting back to this. Thanks for the followup.
The resolution was this:
- I flashed the Magisk link in this thread and then the most current Magisk app.
This was seemingly the problem but I don't exactly know why.
The fix was to make sure I had the most current Magisk app and Magisk flashed.
Rom is buttery smooth even without Magisk. (used the TWRP patch by RicePlay after installing the rom then it started to boot afterward).
Here's a couple of snapshots:
What I did to install this was:
1) Download the ROM image and the TWRP patch
2) Format/clear system, data, cache, etc..
3) Install ROM image
4) Wipe dalvik
5) Install TWRP patch
6) Wipe Dalvik
7) Reboot to System
Optional step for root access:
8) Install Magisk Canary (debug)
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this but we cannot disable the core-only mode once Magisk 19.3 is installed. I even tried toggling off the core only mode via Magisk Manager module via TWRP Terminal yet to no avail after a restart.

Install Samsung Notes and you'll be good.
Logcat for bugged Magisk core only mode
I have sent a logcat to the Magisk Canary Debug thread and the latest build(19.4-f383d11d) did not fix the core only mode issue. Kindly refer to this post on the thread for the logcat. I hope a fix can be done on it but other than that, this is a great custom rom
How's the CSC selection or setup on this rom? Been wanting to use my NoteFE for awhile (wanted stock) but can't get my sim settings to stay after reboot (aka just reboots into twrp and doesn't complete) so figured I'd try custom rom
Ok so CSC stuff I answered on my own.
Was curious if anyone having trouble with the CTS profile showing false under the securitynet check? ( Aka want to know if I'm wasting my time trying to figure out how to fix it)

A little disappointed about Rom. This rom is just a customized SamsungRom version. I keep claiming that GoogleRom customizes. I used the experience and found it only has Launcher like Google.
:good::good::good::good::good::good:
Is it a bug? Even If I full wiped, I can't get the google login screen at the first boot so that I can't recover my back up data.
cannot place regular voice calls, and theres no incoming call answer or reject menu, the phone just ringing.
is something wrong with the dialer? or just me.
5. Current October Patch with the promise of updates every month - Every month an update is released, the ROM will be updated along with it, with a time frame of 1-2 weeks.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: (Backup everything, including contacts etc.)

Really respect what do you do. keep moving bro.
Can you add samsung account to restore data from last rom.
The op promised monthly updates. It's been two months, and he/she still hasn't replied to the request made 6 days after this was posted. This thread should be considered abandoned and locked. I've about given up hope for this phone, been waiting for a long time for some real activity in the custom roms - it's apparent that's not going to happen.
Cyanogen sucks for this phone anyway (no offense intended to the devs that spend the time trying to give us something better, just stating a fact), it takes all the features away that make this phone stand out. What you end up with is a Motorola that says samsung on the front.

Props for giving us another option. I wasn't a fan of project pixel, but that's only because I don't like pixel. You did good work there. I'll post for others what I find.

Do you want me to flash the zip file directly from stock recovery on my untouched device?

Thats whats great about Flylarb dev, he doesnt accept donations but he still building ROMs n stuff..Great job
indirme bağlantısı çalışmıyor

Device: M215F
ROM Version: 3.3
Using this rom from last one week, so far the experience is good. The rom is very smooth and no crashes at all, the rom is full of lot of flagship features which are not part of M21's stock rom. WIFI Calling, Link to Windows, Dual Messenger, AppLock access and other stuff are working perfectly and top of that It comes with the latest security patch which is a great thing. WIFI, and Bluetooth audio is working flawlessly. The UI is smooth and fast as much as stock experience.
Comparing battery backup of this rom with stock is not justice. However, one full recharge gives you upto 24 to 42 hours of good backup, where WIFI was active all the time and use WhatsApp, EMail, Telegram and other texting applications.
The Only thing I was missing in this rom was the Samsung's built-in "Manage App Data" feature but I believe it has been removed by Samsung itself in Android 11. Still, one should definitely give it a try to experience the joy of a good custom rom.
Dear @Flylarb you did a great job!!
hey, can i use this firmware on sm-m215f?
