Hi guys not tried it yet but do you think I could use my old mate 20 charger with my new s20 Fe? I don't want to blow it up lol, cheers
You can use any charger you want. Huawei charger wont charge your phone as fast as it supports tho.

I have those 45w charger..they work fine...but unfortunately it won't super charge like they will on mate 20 pro. The phone seem to detect them and just lower the charging. I ended up buying the 25w Samsung super fast charger. I guess the only disappointment this model doesn't support 45w charging considering the awesome battery size.

Does this support QC3? I have two chargers I bought for my HTC, wondering if they'll likely to work currently.
No that's a qualcomm product. This doesn't use a qualcomm CPU. It has a faster form of charging called Huawei Supercharge.

U have to use Huawei original super car charger for this to work. Quickcharge 3.0 can be use but only give you normal slow charge.
Tempted to get something like this that support both Qualcomm and Huawei standards - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076KR1N7F/

Lol didn't know there were 2 standards. Cheers for the heads up. If you see one that supports the latest for both Huawei and Qualcomm please post it.

Yeh just seems a good idea to have one that also supports Quick Charge as other family members have Samsung devices with Qualcomm processors.
Anker Powerport Speed 5 is working perfectly in Super Charge on the 2 USB Quick Charge 3 and Super Charge (slower) on the 3 other USB slots
Does it detect as fast charge or slow charge on the Anker powerport?
i'm using a Mi powerbank pro, it supports QC3.0 and also huawei fast charge, not as fast as super charge, but it'll get the job done.

Is that the first generation or the second generation?
What options are there? I made plenty of mistakes with chargers and car chargers because I don't know about the PPS technology samsung used. This is my first samsung since the S4 so I need some help.
I use the Samsung Charger stand that fast charge at 15W.

I'll check these out.
i heard s21 ultra support 45w charging.
what are the chances that samsung give us REAL 45w charging this time
and charge 80% faster than 25w ?
would be nice to charge 50% in 15 minutes, full charge in 30 minutes.
I would assume that Samsung made the 45 watt charger for the upgraded quick charge capability on the S21. I am wondering myself if it will charge faster than my S20 Ultra.
S21 series has 25W max charging.

I had been eagerly waiting for long to waste some money on a faster charger that actually works unlike useless 45W in the S20U.
The year is 2021 as per other manufacturers.

also faster charging basically degrades your battery life faster
My oppo find x2 Pro, charges upto 100% in 36 minutes! I don't have to worry about charging at all....

I have the Samsung Note 10 Plus which supports 45W fast charging but disabled it in the settings because charging your phone slowly is of course better for your battery.
But it is those moments when I am in a hurry and I forgot to charge my phone, then it really comes in handy. All in all 25W is probably enough.
Dont forget that you need both a cable that supports 45W charging and a 45W charging adapter.

Thats exactly whats killing your battery over time. I charge my device with 10W max over night, lower would be even better, cause you dont need the speed there. I also got a quick charger, but this is only used if im on the go and time is more important.

That is the truth 45w was supported on last gen s21 series it's gone
I got the 25w charger for my s21u because I had enough points for it. It works well, does super fast charging but if you have another decent charger you don't need it.
Hello friends. I've just bought a S20 FE Snapdragon to my wife but I have a doubt about fast charge.
My 18W Quick Charge 3.0 and my 27W Quick Charge 4.0 don't work as I wished. They just do a normal charge.
I've read that Exynos Edition uses Samsung 25W charger, but what about the Snapdragon edition? Does it use this 25W charger? What about the 45W charger?
Thank you guys.
yes it supports up to 25watt charging, you have to turn it on yourself if it's not activated.
battery and device care / battery / more battery settings / enable fast charge

Thank you for the reply. I've search it and it's enabled by default. I tried an Aukey Quick Charge 3.0 18 W and worked. It says it's fast charge. It's not stellar but way better than 2+ hours.
even without fast charging I don't wait 2 hours

I didn't try the 15w charger that comes in the box. What I think that was weird was my 27W Xiaomi charger charging with the time beyond two hours until it finishes.
Do you know if the 45W charger works?
nothing above 25watts will work any faster, the maximum current draw is 25watts if it works at all. not all fast chargers do work properly, that might explain your Xiaomi 2hrs plus.
the phone and the charger need to be able to communicate with each other / be running on the same standard.

Yes man. That's even sad because they put a beast like a Snapdragon 865 on it.
I am satisfied with original 15W charger: 11%~100% in 1h20m is decent speed and at the same time low stress for battery.

Thank you, I was thinking of buying the Mi 27W SonicCharge, now that it doesn't support, looks like we are mostly left with the OEM charger from Samsung only.

True. I just bought a Samsung 25W super fast charge to my Snapdragon 865 and worked. I'll buy one for my father that uses an Exynos SoC too. It's sad to spend money with something like that.
I use the Samsung 20 w brick. When fast charging it get about 2%@minute.
Fast charging will not engage if the start temperature is too low or high.
If the battery has failed*.
Fast charging ramps down at around 80% to slow charging or if battery temperature goes to high. If temperature continues to climb above 102 F or so it will disengage entirely and end that charge cycle.
After 90% the charge rate crawls at as little as 1%@2 minutes.
* check for rear cover bulging. A battery can fail at any time but it's more likely to happen in an older degraded cell. Failures can happen fast, replaced asap, like that same day, if this happens. It can destroy the phone.
Has anyone tried the Mi 27W SonicCharge charger with S20FE? If so, does it support super fast charging (25W)? Also could someone please suggest a good charger please?
Hi, I didn't test this one, but Yesterday I run test on my Son 30W charger from POCO, working perfect fine.
On Amazon You can find nice cheep original Samsung 25W charger.

any better Fast charger than samsung 25w charger??
couldnt gather enough data to buy fast charger.
Any recommendations?
apart from sticking to samsung.
