Much appreciate it for your fast response. Do you have any link or advice on how to proceed? One other stupid question as I am new to this: can I downgrade to 8.1 ?

Sad to hear. Downgrading will not fix this Screen issue as i heard. I alo stucked on 202 june 01 update when i had my Note 9. Because of this screen burn issue. I thin you may try by updat or downgrading. But screen replacement is the one and only option in this time.
Some replaced their screen and the problem came back and when i use an app called oled saver the screen get fixed like 90%. Its a mystery or purposely done but over a thousand dollars phone that last 2 years is really not fair....

Hi guys,
I'd like to update my firmware because my wifi doesn't work anymore. The phone can't find any networks. It worked fine couple days ago.
I remember i flashed an update file of 21kb to get the dual sim to work.
modelnumber ALE-L21
build number is BalongC50B311
Android 5.0.1
EMUI 3.1
I tried several firmwares but all fail to install.
Can anyone guide me in the right direction? What firmware do i need? I'd would like to keep using dual sim.
Thanks!
Did you used search before writing a new topic? If you would, you would see that balong is a bug and you can't update your firmware when you have balong.
What version did you installed before getting balong?
thanks for you reply
i know and i now managed to remove balong by flashing vendor.
i'm now on ALE-L21C432B183
what is the best choice of firmware to flash?
thanks

I recommend the rom from sokkoban. but you have to convert it to dual sim first.

1. You take a goat, 3 virgins and lay them around your phone on a table
2. Say these words "I like peanutbutter"
stand back and see how the great Android god converts your phone into a dual sim.

hm, not sure but i guess i have the same problem. how can i fix it?
Afternoon,
I have a TA-1062 bought from China, it has developed a really bad case of ghost touching and now has a vertical thin black line the length of the screen, Nokia Care won't entertain it even at my own expense.
Can anyone recommend an OEM repairer that can fix it, visually the phone looks perfect, never knowingly dropped etc?
Thanks

It could be, that does seem like an old firmware, or some service type firmware.. what is the security patch date?
---------- Post added at 05:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:40 PM ----------
Maybe you can find older firmware here, seems to me that you flashed firmware for wrong region.. do you remember what firmware you had before you flashed it.?
Mmm , like I said ... it's easy IF you download the correct firmware ...my suspicion is that you flashed the system image of another device or model

It's for my device but I think it was some incompatibility issue. The only wrong thing is the status bar which it's a bit lower than before but there's no hide notch thing so I think it's from my device and everything is fine. The good thing is that It is from March 1, 2018 so I don't care! You both helped me and sorry for like 20 thousand posts
Oh and another weird thing is that there are no updates (I don't need them but it's weird I guess) even if this is from march 2018 and it's 1 year old

Should be safe, it will just be reading your bootloader unlock code.
So, couple months ago AT&T released an update (in January 2020) which I saw a significantly improved battery life by 25% I was planing to disable my updates for future updates because I really liked it! However, 2 weeks later one day i wake up and my phone forced a new update and the battery life got back to the same even worse that what it used to be before that first update! Now, I am looking to downgrade my update to (N950USQU7DTA3) to be specific. I cant seem to find the file. Is there a source to find it? Also, Its been years since I've done this. Is there a way you guys recommend doing it without causing any issues?
Thanks!
At&t does not post firmware. Just flash any US firmware it's all the same. It will provision to your At&t sim

Please don't post questions in the development section. I have asked a moderator to move it to the correct Q&A section, please bare this in mind for any future posts.
Do you know how I can find and flash that specific one? N950USQU7DTA3? or to find which would be the most identical?

Bootloop or will stop on Samsung logo, either way it's a soft brick...
ODIN will fail while flashing leaving you with an unusable phoned until you reflash the correct Android 10 firmware with a compatible bootloader.
Only way you might get around this is by unlocking bootloader and rooting phone but that brings it's own bag of cats to worry about...
