If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", enable develper settings and enable it.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Reboot and set up your device.

Thanks so much for this ROM. I have been using the AICP and Pie beta Roms but for a long time they had issues were my speakerphone wouldnt work for calls any longer. Your rom finally got it to work again and everything else works fine so I am staying on this one for a long time now.

okay, its easy, next rom will work without this workaround.
just unpack the zip, edit META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and delete
every line ABOVE ui_print("Target: Sony....
then zip the files again and it will flash.
or you wait for the next release, should come later this day.
edit: new build is uploaded, please test.

Just made a clean installation, installed Gapps, Magisk and Xperia Keyboard. Worked fine, but the entire system is sooo slow. Feels like something is hogging the cpu big time?
[EDIT] After a reboot and wiping cache and dalvik it seems to run smoother

Successful dirty flash from the unofficial LOS 14.1 build to this one, using nano gapps 8.1

More feedback from this ROM.
REALLY liking this ROM so far more than the AICP builds. Everything seems to just work fine. The only thing that I wish it had was the Night mode option under Display instead of having to use a 3rd party app.
But if that is all I wish was different, you can tell this is one great rom.

This is the best 10 ROM so far..
Very similar to pe 10 without bugs..
Volte works, gcam works, dark theme works, every settings work well, rooted with magisk no problem..pretty smooth too..
And surprisingly the battery seems great too..
But do install it with latest orange fox 10.0.2 to decrypt data..

Please write those 2 lines here so that I don't delete anything else that would also let the flashing process fail, thanks in advance

First of all be sure that the ROM u r flashing is for ur device then
Unzip the ROM
Go to META-INF/com/google/android
Open updater-script with notepad
Delete the first two lines starting with assert and getprop and stop just before uiprint
Save the notepad and re zip ur ROM and flash

You don't have to flash the full ROM only the firmware something like 60mb .
Flash firmware then ROM or edit the updater script

ROM is snappy , Camera is very responsive.
Although , I am having issues decrypting data within recovery ( OFR ) . The pattern I had set , no longer works after flashing ROM .
I read on the Pixel Experience Thread that , Decrypting Data was a known issue for Android 10 . Does that mean it is a known issue for your ROM as well ?
How would I go about mounting and decrypting now ?

Latest orange fox has fixed encryption problem in 10 roms. V10.0.2 that is

Don't flash it.
I recommend not to flash this ROM. Because if you need to boot into recovery mode for any reason, you risk to lose all your files. OrangeFox will say "unable to mount data because it is encrypted" even though you didn't. Your password will not work.

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Use the MHPC module in magisk. Install it, reboot and run "props" in a terminal and follow the "setup". This should do.
In a later build (if sources are kept updated) I can add another fp.

All boots OK until I flash Magisk 20.3 then she hangs on the boot image. I see above that Magisk 20.3 is OK, but is another preferred?

I got error in installer that my version for some reason is not good. trustzone was bad.. im using 7.1 android, unlocked bootloader, newest twrp

@afigienas You may get lucky with editing the installer script; i got this error message by installing new version of raysteffs crdroid (crDroidAndroid-9.0-20200312-axon7-v5.12.zip with security patch from february or march 2020) over his first version of crdroid . Its sayssomething like this:" assert failed axon7.verify.trustzone "TZ.BF.4.0.1-00353" ... i unzipped the file and edited the installer script. You will find it in \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script. Look after
"assert(axon7.verify_trustzone("TZ.BF.4.0.1-00353") == "1");" and change the "1" at the end to "0" (=zero) and save the zip. So i could install the new version of crdroid...

Guys, Z and I are working together on this ROM at this time, I will compile a microg version as well, for now it looks like only vanilla has been uploaded. We will have to add another link for gapps build I think.

Guys, Z and I are working together on this ROM at this time, I will compile a microg version as well, for now it looks like only vanilla has been uploaded. We will have to add another link for gapps build I think.

Use Nikgapps omni from 25/10

I absolutely love the design of this ROM!
but 1 complaint I have is, maybe it's just my device, but the battery life doesn't seem to good.

Might go back to lineage kernel in the next update, we'll have to see. But you should check your setup for better battery life would be best. It's doubtful the rom is at fault there. Give it some time maybe?
