Download the apk install the manager and in your case grant root access.basically you don't need root for it.In the manager you install it.miui warning will pop uP go to settings turn it off.install what you want Go back to settings and turn miui back on after install.

P970 can't install anything?

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a P970 through the Koodo network. I used smartflash, rom converter 2.0, etc. to root the phone.
I booted my phone, superuser was installed. Everything works well, however, if I go to Google Play store to install any app, the phone freezes and I have to take the battery out to get it started again or the phone will just reboot as soon as it tries to install it. I tried downloading the apk and uploading it to the phone and installing it with superuser but it does the same thing.
I reinstalled everything twice now and it still does the same thing. I've read around the website but can't find any answer. Can anyone help please?
Try to flash another rom.
The phone came with V20j. There's a Telus rom that's V20i. It's ok to try that one?

I meen that you can try to flash a custom rom like zeus.
I can't download rom manager or anything like that without it rebooting.
I followed these instructions found on this site:
1. Get original Koodo firmware
2. Extract BIN/FLS with LGExtract.exe
3. Patch in CWM image with Linux DD (I used p970 rom converter 2.0 to do the extract and CWM image)
4. Flash with SmartFlashTool
The only apps that came with the superuser was anreboot and es file explorer
Can I just flash a rom like zeus with the rom conerter 2.0?
You have CWM,right? If not, try cwm flasher by redy in Development sector
When the phone is restarting at LG logo, press Volume Down to Recovery.
If u not have e/g-recovery, power off and try to press Power button and Volume down in the same time
And u can wipe all data or flash any custom rom
Already U know about CWM and injecting root
So, just download Gingerbread V20S Rooted .bin and .fls files from google
And flash with Smart Flash tool
Or else, U can try Zeus (excellent ROM) with (if u have to install Zeus, U should have some ROM installed with root and ROM manager)
If now ur phone has root option, just install ROM manager (download separately ROM manager and install)
Even if yours is not rooted, basic features of ROM manager will work for Reboot into Recovery, so that you can flash the zip file of Zeus ROM (try to install latest is 6.39n and its update file)
If unable to install just Factory Reset, even that is not working..
Try to open the settings of Play Google and clear all the cache or history u can find and restart the phone..
Try the Zeus ROM, amazing ROM and No. 1 now..
Press THANKS if I helped you
Hi there,
darrenp76, I too had just rooted my own LG P970 (my carrier is also Koodo). I used a different method to root my phone, but the result was a success.
I found myself in the same situation as you; every time I tried to download an app, the download would complete but then the phone would hang on when the installation portion began. The phone would power off, and boot back up.
I have solved this issue by doing the following:
1) Go to Settings
2) Go to Privacy
3) Select "Factor data reset"
4) Reset phone. I did NOT check off "Erase SD card"
My phone restarted, I saw the ClockWorkMod screen, then my phone continued to restart normally.
I was then prompted with LG's little tutorial, and I entered my gmail information when prompted.
I was then able to access the Market - which updated to the Play store. I was able to keep Superuser on my phone, but I lost the 2 applications that were automatically installed when I rooted my phone (one was a file browser and the other was some sort of restart.) I did not have these programs installed for very long because I reset my phone shortly after rooting, and so I wasn't able to familiarize myself with those 2 apps, and I don't remember the names of them.
Anyways, I really hope that this helps you. Having been through the situation myself, I was very worried, but the factory reset seems to have fixed this issue.

[Q] Root or Root permissions not sticking?

I have Viper 4.0.1 with the latest TRWP recovery unlocked through the HTC dev website S-Off
SuperSU is having to update it's binary everytime I go into the application. The recent apps style of organizing the apps menu is not working (for what it's worth) and sometimes apps that require root access will say I don't have root until I restart. I've tried different Roms with the same problem.
The 1 bar fix for Viper 4.0.1 only worked because I was able to "quick reboot" by changing a setting in ViperTweaks that required it. I can't restart or else my root permissions will reset.
Please Help!
Updates must be flashed in recovery download here

Root lost again on i9305

Hi.
I have rooted the i9305 with the CF Auto Root and Odin. I have then installed CWM recovery through Odin, and installed CM13 and Gapps mini via recovery.
The phone boots fine, and Superuser is installed.
However, when I reboot, Superuser is gone and root is lost.
I have wiped data and cache+dalvik, and rooted again with the same CF Auto Root method. It does the trick again.
BUT: After reboot, SU is gone and root is lost again.
I have NOT "fixed root" in recovery (it asks when I reboot).
What could I try?
Use TWRP may help. Else when u flash cm13 don't flash cf autoroot as it comes with root and SU if I'm nt wrong. Else go to developer options and enable root access to "apps and adb". See if any of those helps.
Have You tried checking "Respect CM root settings" in SuperSU app?

How do I root and install TWRP/CWM in to S3 Mini? Want to flash CM 11.

So that's the question, I can do everything else with Rom manager probably, but I need to root my phone.
I saw a popular thread on rooting with Odin/Flashing recovery through Odin.
But the download links are dead.
if you want to root your phone, use kingoroot pc version or mobile version
if you want to install a custom recovery download rom manager from play store to install CWM recovery
hope i helped you

How can I remove SuperSU root on Galaxy S6 ? / if root removed stuck in bootloop

I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S6 using Odin (v.3.11.1) and SuperUser (the name of the .ZIP file was N920_Nougat_Root_SuperSU_No_Kernel_included.zip), and I want to get rid of the root and remove any trace of it. I tried getting rid of the root from the SU app itself and it resulted in my phone being stuck in a bootloop. To get it working again I had to boot into recovery mode (TWRP) during the bootloop so that I could reinstall the SU .zip file, and now it works fine, but I want to get rid of the root access and any traces of it so that I can get the official Netflix app from Google Play (they made it so that rooted users won't be able to download it from Google Play), because most .APKs that I tried are quite troublesome and full of issues. I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to be asking this on, but I am new to this website.
ALSO, it's probably worth noting that my phone first got stuck in a bootloop when I was attempting to install TWRP, and even though the install itself succeeded and TWRP recovery mode was working, my phone had been placed in a bootloop, and if it wasn't for the fact that I had already downloaded the SuperSU .ZIP file on my phone I don't think I would have managed to get out of the bootloop, so I simply flashed the SuperSU to get it working again and out of the bootloop.
I would really love some help here, I really have no idea what to do in order to get rid of both the root and the traces without bricking my phone.
Thank you.

As far as I'm aware LINK TO ARTICLE, Netflix is simply hiding the app from the Play Store if you are rooted. This means that you should be able to download the official netflix app from elsewhere and install it yourself. You can download the latest version here (ApkMirror is a very reputable source).
If all else fails, you can always just restore the phone to the factory set-up. This involves re-installing the firmware and will cause you to lose your settings and files. Follow this guide here: http://rootmygalaxy.net/unroot-restore-samsung-galaxy-s6-back-to-stock/
Can you remove root without deleting or factory resetting your phone? what happen to that? bootloops for me too. had to reroot, but that messed me up and had to reflash firmware lost everything..
