Hey All, kind of a weird situation here.
My Mi 8 (Chinese Ver. 64GB, 6GB Ram) after updating to 9.9.3 and playing around with Pixel Experience 10, now has constant problems/hitches/crashes connecting to Wifi and Data or getting service overall. This happens with Sim in or out of Phone.
I have tried clean flashing both 9.9.3 and latest global using the fastboot method, clean flashing Xiaomi.eu using TWRP, formatting Data, Deleting Data,System,Cache, Boot partitions and Reflashing stock, as well as flashing just the Vendor from 9.9.3 after clean flashing Xiaomi.eu 9.9.3.
I have attached some screenshots (look at status bar) and some logcats of the Searches Modem and Sim

Just tried flashing the persist image from 9.9.3 and problem still exists. I also tried the one from the latest Stable 10.3.6 and it completely stopped working instead of intermittently even after clean installing 10.3.6 rom. maybe older version?

It should be ok after flashing with Miflash. You can try flash fastboot ROM with Miflash ones again or flash firmware ( it includes modem ) in twrp.

It happens with or without Sim card. Any Sim I insert does the same. And yes, both Sim slots have an IMEI.
I just tried flashing 9.8.15 persist.img and then flashing 9.8.15 with Xiaomi Flash and it seems to be working so far (no hangups for the last 30 mins) but we'll see if the problem comes back because it all seems fine until a couple of hours later.

This is strictly a software issue, you have encrypted, deleted or corrupted the images in your persist partition.
Flashing a rom will do absolutely nothing to fix this issue.
This issue is resolved 3 different ways, i have several posts on this. The absolute best/fastest method is to restore persist images from a TWRP recovery backup.
You need to use one of these versions of TWRP : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79908339&postcount=116
method 1
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79824537&postcount=2
Note use an older fastboot version of Global stable if you own a Global device. if you own a Chinese device, use the chinese fastboot rom...Not recovery rom it has to be a fastboot rom and the older versions have the persist images separated,
Global Rom with persist images : https://xiaomifirmware.com/download/11879/
China Rom with persist images : https://xiaomifirmware.com/download/12207/
Method 2 : Restore persist images from a TWRP backup, do you have one?
Method 3 : Use the flashbat method of restoring your phone, the phone must be linked to your Miui account.
Let me know if any of these steps helped. Relax, this will definitely be resolved.

1. Twrp 3.3.1-0607 and also tried 3.2.4 and Orange fox on 3.3.0
2.Yes, many many times. I have to format data (typing in yes) everytime I switched from Chinese dev to Xiaomi.eu when I flashed via the Xiaomi flash tool. (Bat flash method)
3. Have tried installing every Dev, China Stable, Global Dev (old ofc), and Global Stable along with all of their respective persist partitions. Even tried flashing persist+ROM in EDL.
4. Pics below. All pics below are with the SIM card removed. It has been for a week without SIM card.
I'm pretty sure I'm screwed. Random reboots as well.

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty.
Unfortunately backup persist images are unique to your device., and need to match up exactly with the device hardware. So do not attempt to restore someone else's TWRP persist backup it absolutely will NOT resolve your issue.
Try this method , it should finally resolve your issue, if it fails try it again and if if it fails. Start over , reread and try again.
Note Use Google Translate: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=906971&view=findpost&p=77405784

Hi to change global to china rom is there any file and guide?
i had problem with my password , so i made a factory reset with my twrp .
right now i dont see the twrp file in my phone , and also , when im pushing together the volume down+power on/off im not entering to the twrp as usuall .
maybe while doing the factory reset ive errassed the twrp? how can i know that before flashing the twrp again?
another question - why while pushing together the volume down+power on/off im not entering to the fastboot , altough i see the fastboot?
thnx
i think when you have so much problems with you Phone its better you make a FORMAT DATA and install the ROM that you have on your Phone NEW .
Remember YOU will lose all your settings and all things that you have installed, so SAVE everything beforehand.
im afraid that the bootloader is loacked again , maybe because of the "factory reset" . how do i cheack this?
ok , i connected my device to the mi unlock tool and its written unlocked , but i dont see it on the developer options - "mi unlock status" . what the ... its going on ? why i cant enter my bootloader? why can i see if my device is locked or not?
thanks godddddddddd i managed to enter the twrp and i saw the sign of an open key lock on the screen , which mean the phone is unlocked . but still i cant see the twrp file on my phone , why ?
please help me , i dont know what to do -
i entered the twrp to sdcard and i dont see anything , even not the eu rom zip file . i dont know what happened . in my computer i can see the eu rom zip file but not the twrp file , also , i cant see the eu rom zip file with the twrp . please help me i dont know how to get out of it
ok guys , ill tell my story that maybe you can help me :
i have twrp + eu rom stable on my mi 11 pro
1. few days ago i forgot my password , so i entered with the twrp and made wipe data+factory reset .
2. after that the eu rom remains with my language and nothing been changed
3. today i decided that i want to flash the eu rom from the begining , so i copy the rom to my internal storage , but i couldnt see the twrp file
4. after i didnt see the twrp file , i discovered that the developer options where closed , so i opened them again , but i didnt see if my device is still locked , and there is a special raw in the developer options that tell you if the device is locked .
5. after that i saw on the screen the keylock sign in open position and also i connected the phone with the "mi unlock tool " and i saw that my device is unlocked along with the serial of the phone .
6. i entered the twrp and i didnt find the eu rom zip file in the sdcard section (the file is empty) . i searched everywhere in the twrp and i couldnt see it .
7. right now the situation is that i can see the zip file on my computer , but not the twrp file , , and when im in the twrp i cant see the eu rom zip file .
8. thats the whole story , now , how can i see the file on the twrp ? how can i flash the rom ? maybe i should errase everything and begin from the beginning ?

Nope, i found that format data won't delete anything. I dont know how to explain, but i met alot of strange problem with 11 ultra twrp, such as after flash eu rom, my phone didn't boot to system, always boot to twrp, and at that time, twrp cant find any file on phone storage. At last, i found that after flash rom, i only need to format data, and then everythings started to work. Rom boot normally, twrp can see all file in phone storage

Hi there
I am a newbie of Xiaomi Phone. I got a used Mi 11 Ultra phone from a reputable eBay User. My phone is currently installed with a stable version called MIUI 13/.0 (V13.0.12.0.SKACNXM STABLE). Since I am new to this phone, I click on system updates and managed to download a file called xiaomi.eu_Multi_M11Pro_M11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_618A7FFAB_V13-12.ZIP Via OTA Updates.
After I click on the Updates Button, I got a screen with a green button : "Check MD5 & Install", after a while, I got a pop up screen says :Your device supports "Seamless System Updates",
I click on the OK button, also click on the OK button for the internal storage is encrypted.
Finally, to ask me whether I would like to continue to install the Updates, I choose YES and end up stuck at the Main Menu with 5 choices: Reboot, Wipe Data, Connect with MiAssistant, Safe Mode and Repair Mode. There are no choice for me to install the Updates.
Can someone give me a hand please ?
Many thanks in advance.

start with Repair Mode if it doesn't work Wipe Data(your data will be erased).

Ok, what do you want to do, update it to Chinese version or flash another version?
Do you know the Xiaomi EU roms?
For me looks like ROM what you had before was FASTBOOT installed xiaomi.eu stable, and then they started rolling out TWRP updates, and because you didn't have TWRP its reboot in stock recovery ?...
Can you boot into TWRP from this link:https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...eamwin-recovery-project.4374111/post-87360425
Please use this fastboot command
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
, first TWRP boot will be in Chinese language, please change it to English, enter your unlock PIN, then find this update file downloaded by updater.

I'm right, your current ROM is a FASTBOOT version (so without TWRP)
Checked on the download website

For me looks like ROM what you had before was FASTBOOT installed xiaomi.eu stable, and then they started rolling out TWRP updates, and because you didn't have TWRP its reboot in stock recovery ?...
Can you boot into TWRP from this link:https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...eamwin-recovery-project.4374111/post-87360425
Please use this fastboot command
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
, first TWRP boot will be in Chinese language, please change it to English, enter your unlock PIN, then find this update file downloaded by updater.

You didn't focus on details ,my friend
He has already installed xiaomi.eu custom ROM, if you closely check his pictures from his first post - Updater app downloaded new version of xiaomi.eu CUSTOM ROM, so yeah he has already unlocked bootloader, and installed FASTBOOT version of CUSTOM ROM, the version what Updater app downloaded was released to be installed with TWRP (he didn't have TWRP on his phone yet) - so he need boot into TWRP and install update manually.

because after flashing the ROM, it is asked to continue booting.
obviously if the phone is no longer linked this will not be a problem
Hi gomcse2002,
Has your problem been solved?
If so, how did you do it, if you don't mind me asking.
I've had the same exact concern on my Mi 11 Ultra, which sadly has NOT been resolved yet.
Thanks.
Which rom(full name)?
