Can anyone help, recently switched from Amazon Firestick to the new Chromecast with Google TV.
I am located in Canada and in desperate need to get ITV Hub working. Does anyone have a link to a working version of ITV Hub that has been tested to work on this Chromecast with Google TV device???
I have tried several versions I can find online with no success.
Really hope someone can help

Thank you. I get strange results with the app. It only shows the menu's as if it was on a phone orientation but does play live TV in the correct orientation.
Also it will not play on-demand; I am using VPN Express connected to a UK server from Canada.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I have a Samsung TV with AllShare(DLNA) functionality. I was reading that I can see on TV contacts, calendar etc from my Galaxy S using ScreenShare function. But I don't know how. In the TV User Manual is written "In Samsung mobile, ScreenShare must be installed and the supporting application must be executed; Then you can use the ScreenShare Function".
Can somebody help me?

I have the same problem.
Samsungs User Manual talks about "ScreenShare", but there is no apk for mobile in the Android market or in the Samsung web page. Web searching, without solutions.

they said for android we must search on market for that application but on bada it is implemented.

AllShare in SGS doesn't support screenshare, only DLNA (music, video, pics)
That sucks, i just spent 1000USD for TV which as they said in store will work.
Well, both TV and SGS have allshare sticker, but it seems these are different definition of ALLshare.
The rumour says that SGS II will support screen share ? well, hopefully this app can be used on SGS I.
hey i have the samsung galaxy s 2 and a samsung tv but cant see any screenshare options on this phone though, any ideas anybody?
Well, start Your TV, and AllShare -> ScreenShare function
Then in SGS II in AllShare look for ScrennShare function.
Samsung Support in Poland said, none of european phones can ScreenShare.
In US, they told me that US models of SGS do shere screen - and sent me to UK. cuz:

How were you able to get this to work?
Hi, I want to watch online TV on my galaxy mini especially indian channels and other channels such as discovery, nat geo, etc.
Does anyone know a way to view the latest shows from these channles? I tried using Apps, Fun TV, its quite nice and has most of the channels that I want, but when I try to play them, its says video not found (or maybe its couldn't play video) error.
ANybody plz help!!!

I installed the new ICS update on my 7310. All is great, except I can't watch live stream tv (football for example from a link at wiziwig). On Honeycomb this was no problem. I have tried installing Flash 11.1.111.000 apk, wiping dalvik/factory resett, a new install of ICS, and using different web-browsers, but no luck. Really enjoy being able to carry the tab around the house watching sports on it, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, many thanks! I searched Google for an answer but to no avail either...

Update 1 september, Ok, no-one has an answer, so let me ask if someone can test by letting me know if they can watch streamed tv through the internet. To clarify it is flash streaming, you could try from wiziwig online. Thanks.
A friend and I bought the Chromecast from eBay and had it shipped to UK.
I've managed to sideload the apk for 1.1.2 which is fine. Netflix plays perfectly. The Google apps however do not.
YouTube shows the selected video but it won't play, rest of the screen is black. Google Music just shows the headphones logo.
Has anyone with in the UK managed to get any of these apps working? I'm guessing it's a region locking issue, the region shows as "English (United States)" in the settings and I can't appear to change this.

Hey M8 ye i got mine a few days ago, no problems at all with Region lock just works for me, did have to sideload the APK but once setup it's had no probs at all, ChromeCast Tabs, YouTube and Netflix all working fine. I've uploaded a review into another thread if you want to see.

Hi, I to have this problem, and have the region showing as US English, did you find a solution or are you still stuck with a part functioning device?
I watched the review the other guy mentioned and see he had YouTube working, Was his region US English as well??

Yeh, can you post a link. Did you have to change your DNS at all?
It is unavailable in our country and I would like to buy one from US and ship it to here. What I can do with it for the time being? Thanks!
I've installed chromecast apk here from forum and now I can cast youtube and google music from Android. And I can cast tabs or youtube from chrome on PC.

I'm from Chile and works fine, just download the Chromecast apk from the forum, and you got it everything: youtube, chrome, netflix
i am from Mexico and works perfect with Netflix and in my pc with chrome i can cast anything!!
