hello dear people,
i just UNLOCKED the bootloader of my MI A2 and installed TWRP recovery and then flashed the TWRP INSTALLER file and after that flashed MAGISK. and finally when i hit reboot it went into a bootloop so i made the DUMBEST decision and went ahead to flash a custom MIUI rom onto this and tried to reboot into system and DUH bootloop again but this time there is NO TWRP recovery and only the FASTBOOT is working by pressing down VOLUME DOWN+POWER. Someone please help me out of this ASAP please as i have online classes. Thank you

So, I have a xiaomi mi 8 and recently I was tryin to install a custom rom(now I understand that I should make a full wipe, but my problem is not there). I tried to install miui.eu pie version to update it to miui.eu 11 but I got a strange brick. The phone shows only boot logo, sometimes it reboots and shows me that logo again. But I cant enter recovery or fastboot. I dont know what to do.
So the solution is edl flash, if it's ARB, THERE IS NO OTHER SOLUTION
If you can't put it on recovery or fastboot then you'll have to try with edl mode, the problem is that you have to take it apart, tho I would try again fastboot and recovery a few times
The devices on boot shows Unlocked sign on the bottom of the screen? If it is boot on twrp recovery and go to Wipe Button and format data, type yes and then press enter, after that reboot to recovery and then reflash miui 11 rom and wipe data, dalvik, cache, then reboot your device and will boot to miui without any problem, i had the same problem on my mi 8 with android q miui 11 rom!
flash china rom using miflash tool, instal twrp, format data if internal shows as 0mb,direct install eu rom...
no need to wipe anything
Solved
So, the problem was the ARB system, I just found a guy that has an authorized xiaomi account and flashed via edl. There wasn't any other solution, thank you guys, this website is really user-friendly. Now I want a cool android q rom, but not sure about aosp projects(pixelexp, havoc(i get error 7, don't know why), maybe ressurection remix) or miui(such as eu, miroom, maybe masik(don't know alot about this one). I don't know(((. Anyway, thank you guys one more time))))))
Use the official and latest twrp recovery!

Unable to install official TWRP in Redmi 8, Miui 11.0.7. It installed. and then vanished when rebooted. and then boot looped. Had to flash original recovery and boot img to reboot.
Had made sure that I didn't boot to system after flashing TWRP. and boot to recovery instead. It flashed okay. Could use the root after installing Magisk. But on reboot, all was gone. Boot looped.
hi bro how did you unlock bootloader on redmi 8 its on 11.0.6.0

Looks like you haven't flashed lazy flasher which resulted into bootloop.
Hi,
I was on CDroid 9 and I decided to install Project Elixir 3.3 instead.
On twrp I cleaned flash but I didn't Dirty flashed.
So it didn't work and I was stuck in recovery mode.
Then I dirty flashed but it failed to mount system, media ...
I was stuck there and I didn't know what to do.
It worked but I had to go to the native recovery. I still don't know what went wrong on twrp.
Could you give me some advices for the next time ?
Thanks guys!
don't make twrp permanent.
Boot into twrp, install projectelixir, and reboot, this should work.

With the latest working TWRP, I installed the latest available Xiaomi.eu (wayne) ROM for Mi 6X. The ROM worked well and I didn't try to go back to TWRP. Many months later, I tried to load TWRP, but after pressing Vol Up, TWRP loads, and then the phone shuts down.
I flashed TWRP again, but it's the same. I used fastboot boot to boot with the TWRP image file, same problem again.
Any ideas how to fix this?
