Hello Everyone
After a series of frustrating efforts to install custom ROM in my Nokia 8 (TA 1004) device, I gave up and ultimately decided to go with the official ROM (stock was android 8) and updated it to android 9 via OTA update and went ahead to install TWRP and Magisk for root.
It was all fine, but then I launched the Magisk app and it said that it needs to download some files, which it did, then it went ahead for a reboot.
And now my phone is stuck on NOKIA logo.
I can't seem to power it off or restart it using any key combinations. Vol UP + Power, Vol Down+ Power, All three keys, I tried everything, even for 50-60 seconds. But it won't change. It's stuck on NOKIA boot logo.
Any help would be really appreciated.
i have the same problem! Please, answer

Hello guys,
I'm using Evercoss A65/Sprout 8. And I'm using CyanogenMod 13 (Official Nightly - January, 21 Build)
And, I'm using TWRP as Recovery.
Last night, my phone is on low battery, and then I charge it.
Then, I leave it charged when I'm asleep.
In the morning, I check my phone and it was on the black screen, just like a boot loop.
I tried to reboot it several times, unplug the battery, sim, and sdcard. But, these things just doesn't work out.
I have try to going into Recovery, and it shows standard menu which has; reboot normally, reboot recovery, fastboot mode, options..
I've tried every single option, like normal reboot, reboot into recovery, etc. and it come back again into the blank black screen.
(So I can't get into Recovery)
I try to find the solutions, but I have found nothing
Can I use USB Debugging to reinstall the ROM and start the phone normally?
I never have this problem before, need to solve it very soon..
I need your help,
Any helps is very appreciated!
Many Thanks! :good:

It uses android L, and yes... I rooted it
This is nothing to do with the ROM, ur battery has completely empty that y when u power on it blink then off again n if u goto bootloader, then select any option also it will blank
Solution- Charge ur handset leave it for more than half an hour, and check again,if still problem persist, try to power on with other battery.
I tried to to root evercoss A65 with Android 6 using "android one toolkit (updated)".
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...oolbox-android-one-toolkit-one-click-t3030165
Rooting was successful as per tool and device rebooted. Device got hung at the android logo and did not come up. I waited for 2-3 hr, but no success. To recover the device, I did, factory reset but nothing help. It got stuck.
No clue what went wrong
Thank You!

Hi guys, I need help please!
I am using Samsung Note 3 SM-N9005 ARMv7 Lollipop 5.0. Rooted it with Kingoroot. "installed" TWRP through Flashify.
I downloaded Xposed Framework xposed-v86-sdk21-arm.zip onto my phone and installed it through TWRP in Flashify. Everything seemed fine, got the message install successful, I selected "reboot" instead of "clear cache/dalvik". Phone went into reboot...Samsung Note 3...Samsung logo...and stuck there. I understand that it takes some time for first boot, and I waited, but almost an hour and its still showing the same screen. So I tried to power off the phone, but it restarted again and stuck in the same logo screen. I tried to go into recovery mode hoping to get TWRP to do a reset or something, but no TWRP! Was only given option of "volume up - continue(to odin mode)" and "volume down - cancel(restart phone)". No option for factory reset either. So i booted odin, and tried to flash openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.7-hlte.img.tar, got the messaged passed, phone rebooted and again stuck in Samsung logo. Tried recovery mode and still no TWRP! Please help!!:crying: :crying: :crying:
p.s. phone won't power off, only way to do it is to remove the battery.
Samsung phones stock ROMs need an special version of Xposed framework. Geez, it is on the official thread:
Known issues:
- Bootloops on Samsung stock ROMs. That's due to Samsung's changes to ART. There are unofficial builds that work around this by deodexing and adjusting the ROM.

When you flash TWRP, you have to have reset unchecked in Odin, when the flash finishes you pull the battery and then boot into recovery via button combo. If you don't do that TWRP doesn't stick. From there flash the Xposed uninstaller so you can boot properly.

I tried it, unchecked "reboot", flashed TWRP, power off. When I tried button combo, I can't boot into recovery. It either keep giving me the restarting loop (power on, samsung note 3..then power off, and on again..) or if i let go of the power button at note 3, it goes to the samsung logo and stuck there.
update: I kept trying, and finally got a little different response. I pressed volume up + home + power buttons, and got 3 small lines of colorful words...
Recovery booting
Recovery is not seandroid enforcing
Set warranty bit : recovery
and then the phone turns off and start again
Tried different combinations, so far only the volume up sequence showed something a little different.

That is ok, you get that when you have modified system/recovery. Means your are not fully stock. If you had full stock unrooted unmodified system and recovery that goes away, nothing to worry about. If you are still having problems follow these step exactly:
1) Pull battery out of phone then put it back in
2) boot to download mode (power+home+volume down)
3) open Odin on computer (run as admin)
4) plug phone into computer
5) Uncheck a. Reboot and f. Reset time in Odin
6) flash TWRP (TWRP.img file goes in AP)
7) after successful flash unplug phone and pull battery
8) put battery back in and boot directly to recovery (power+home+volume up)
If you let it boot normally without going into TWRP first, it does not stick

Ok, now that TWRP is on there things should be easier. You are on Stock ROM, it is TouchWiz. You will need to flash a custom ROM that is deodexed. If you like the stock look, feel, and options look in the threads for your device for a stock deodexed ROM. Or you can flash CM. Depending on what version of Android you decide to run will dictate which version of Xposed you install.

I downloaded and flashed the latest Oreo update - happy days - this booted fine.
I subsequently flashed TWRP and then superSU ever since the device fails to boot, just stays on the oneplus screen, powered by android splash screen...
I was able to get into recovery (TWRP) so I tried to reflash the oreo update by adb sideload, this failed and crashed adb on my Windows 10 PC
At this point I thought that possibly reverting to stock recovery might be an idea, not the best I've had! After this I seemed to go backwards...
I'm using the latest platform tools from google, adb and fastboot cannot find the device.
I am unable to get into the bootloader, by holding volume down and power
Only able to effectively power cycle the device, can't get into recovery or bootloader and the PC can't see the device
Any help or guidance greatly appreciated - getting desperate.

A million thanks to you. I got it working again. I did exactly what you said and it worked like a charm.
The main issue that got me into this problem is the backups I created with this recovery. Whenever I tried to install them, I get an error. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
When I had my note 3, I never had this problem. Is there a bug in this 3.3.2 i unofficial recovery. Could you tell me what to include in my backups and what to include in my restore.
Thank you for your assistance.

3.3.1 based twrps are pretty much betas if you ask me . stick to good old 3.2.3-0
also when backing up various partitions. skip "system image". so check box any or all others including system but no need to select "system image" its not needed and cant be restored anyways.
Thanks again. I will try that.

Hi !
Thanks for your answer, finally I managed to install an unofficial 3.4.2b 1213 TWRP, which started all in Chinese first. I couldn't get past the home screen, as if my touch didn't work anymore.
Finally it worked without me doing anything (after several reboots). I was able to set the menu in English and restart android.
So it's working again. But now when I want to access TWRP by pressing VOL + and power on, I come across a Chinese menu with three lines, with written in English "recovery redmi".
Do you know how to solve this problem? I would like to install Magisk 21.4 for root for phone.
Thank you !

It is because ..you must flash magshisk when you boot into twrp..if you do not flash it and reboot your system then your twrp is replace with miui orginal recovery...and so you sce the 3 line chaina language with miui logo...
If twrp touch not working...then try to touch the twrp navigation bar for few time...it should work touch now..
Hi ! Ok i will try this way as soon as i can and i let you know. Thank you for helping me.
