Can't get Magisk working on a Samsung Galaxy Pro Tab 8.4 ppz help

I have a moto g 1st gen with LOS 14.1 latest nightly from 24th June with the latest magisk v13 beta 54e6a79 installed and its works perfect and passes safetynet no problems
My problem is I have a Samsung Galaxy Pro Tab 8.4 (not the s model) again with LOS 14.1 latest nightly from 1st July with the latest magisk v13 beta 54e6a79 installed and it doesn't pass safetynet it just says 'the response is invalid' on magisk and on safetynet helper I get red/CTS & basic integrity = false
I don't get I did everything the same even wiped all data first (I have backups) but no matter what it just won't pass safetynet

Logs or it didn't happen... Magisk log in this case.

Did you try Magisk v12 first? and do you know BETA stands for?

Yes tried v12 and v13
Problem is safetynet checks for unlocked bootloader and that check is in the kernel... I need a custom kernel for LOS 7.1.2 with that flag patched I guess?

Unable to see super user request using 1.17.3 or 1.18

Hey!
I'm using a UMIDIGI One Pro with a treble 9.0 ROM (https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...ce-development/9-0-pixelexperience-p-t3833294). With stock oreo ROM everything is working fine but on android 9 I got several problems:
- I'm not able to install new Magisk modules (my phone starts in Magisk Core only mode)
- I'm unable to see super user request using Magisk 1.17.3 or 1.18 (but it is working fine with 1.17.1 so I keep using it)
- In the other hand ctsProfile is false with 1.17.1
Does anyone have an idea to fix these problems?

LineageOS 16, nichcream's build from 27.07

AOSmP 3.0 (flashed 1 week a go and still now)
Maybe want to try
AICP latest build
Or
PE Plus Unoff (Silent build)

Should I upgrade the custom rom I use?

It might be a weird question, but do you upgrade your custom rom? Or do you always upgrade to the newest build available for the custom rom you use?
If the answer is yes can you please tell me why and how (clean flash or dirty flash).
If no can you tell me why?
Currently I'm using Los 16 (april 22) and I'm confused whether I should upgrade to the newest build or not.
So should I clean flash to the newest build or not?
The main reason I'm hesistant to clean flash the newest build is because of the safetynet. I pass the safetynet with the current build (22 april build and picoopengapps, no root or anything).

Well this is going to vary person to person. in my opinion main reasons for upgrading/updating are latest security patch,bug fixes,stability,optimization,device side improvements,new features and os upgrade if available.
Not upgrading would be the current ROM is working good as expected and it is fulfilling the all requirements needed buy user.
I do update ROM whenever there is new update available(i don't use any nightly build ROM). but for now i am on Havoc OS 2.9 23/12/2019 build with 5th september 2019 security patch.
I don't use any banking apps so it does not matters me to update the ROM.
The main reason i am not using Havoc OS latest build is i need to have edge gesture control and pie control due to my device's 30% of screen area including capacitive buttons are not working and this helps to continue using rom without changing display as i don't want to spend money on my phone and waiting for some good mid range phone with super amoled display.
If my device's screen would have been working fine then i would have been using latest rom.
Clean flash and dirty flash depends upon if maintainer instruct to do so if not then you can dirty flash rom considering there is no os upgrades. e.g. you cant dirty flash android 10 rom and android 9. other than it is pretty much fine to dirty flash rom with doing necessary backups.
If LOS 16 working fine for you and there is no anything major new or the rom is stable well optimized then i don't think so there is need of upgrade.
If you are concerned about latest security patch then there is no option than upgrading rom.
You should first check if safetynet is pass or not on latest builds, discuss this with other users on respected rom thread, youtube video reviews or groups.

I've used Pixel Experience 9 from June 2019 and never upgrade until now because it already answers my need for daily use.

LineageOS 19.0 based on Android 12 is available for the Exynos Galaxy S10 series

Hello, I installed lineage 19 followed by an explanation on the XDA blog page.
So I managed to install TRWP 3.0.4 for android 12 then flashed rom lineage 19, start ok intalation nickGapps when the start smartphone message play store stops systematically.
So I'm going to try to install APK play store see other APKs, unless there is a module for magisk which fixes the problem as I downloaded magisk 23.4 it is running.
