Orange Line 2 switcher?

Hi All.
The TYTN II as default from Orange and HTC Does not support ALS, (line 1 and Line 2) feature.
However, Flashing using the wonderfully cooked roms on here.. along with a newer radio works.! Maybe the same case on other HTC Units too?

you get the extra menu options in Phone under Settings.
One problem. You cannot change from line 1 to Line 2 using Hash (#)
Anyone out there knock up a little app that others and I can assign in App Launcher from HTC HOME>? Straight line switch, the indicator in status bar will notify which line is working

How have you got the 2 SIMs in the device? I thought there was no dual SIM adapter for the TyTN II?

Nope. This is Orange..UK
On these Sim cards you can have 2 lines on one sim.
Line 1 and Line 2
2 Different numbers.
2 different Price plans

A few noobs questions about sim and more stuff

hey all .
1)first of all i want to know why when i add a new contact to sim i cant make his name longer than 5 letters
2)second wtf is this footpritns why i do i need it?
3) why when i send a sms msg and recive its dont save me on sim card and just save me on memory card
4) my clock always go 1 hour before the real time dont know why
5) how do i delete the emergency contactd? its got a lock on them
6) bluetooth issue why the hell when i connect an bluetoothe handset of motorola hs . i cant listen to a music on the handfree bluetooth and i can hear it on the kaiser but with people i can talk with it. just the music wont help
and when i use skype the same question cant use the handfree

1. Sounds like a bad sim to me
2. not sure what that is.
3.It only saves on memory, not sim cards.
4. um, set the proper times zone ?
5. There is probley a reason for that
6. When the hell are you going to use search? There is an app for that noob.

You can use Sim manager in some versions to copy SMS to the sim card.

about the sim backup msg i will find some program but what about that i cant write more tham 5 letters person?

Yeah that's a wierd one.

Contacts from Sim Card

Hi,
i have recently bought a Captivate and have it unlocked. The problem is that the phone does not display my contacts list that are saved on my sim card. Any clues to make it display on my Captivate? if there is no solution for this, i think i have to copy one by one manually which is pain in the ass.

Don't own a captivate but found this on google for the Galaxy S, I hope it works for you.
-Touch Contacts
-Touch the Menu key
-Touch More
-Touch Copy contacts
-Touch SIM to Phone
-Touch Select all
-Touch Copy

thanks for the guide.. ok, followed the guide, stuck at step 5.. there is no copy Sim to Phone.. there is only Import from SD card.. haish.. maybe my Sim card is an old one?

Any ROM out there with double ringtones for the 2 SIMs?

Hi There! a quick one; I really do need to have separate ringtones for the 2 SIM in my op3t. I want to know in advance if who's calling me is private or business...a part from OOS, that is handling quite good this feature, is there any other ROM out there, preferably Oreo based, that is implementig this? Or, is there any app capable of managing the 2 sims when it comes to ringtones?

Go to setting > sound and vibration>phone ringtone and select different ringtones for sim 1 and sim 2 .. I am talking about oxygen os(rom) .

[R&D] How to programmatically change a ringtone for a second SIM card

Hi!
I want to create a program that will be able to set ringtones for incoming calls for both of the sim cards (starting for J7 and then I want to update it for other phones too). There is a standard mechanism to do it for the first SIM (or active one, I didn't get it) but I can't find a way to change it for the second SIM. Do you know how it is possible to do it in the standard Samsung ROMs? Maybe there is at least some kind of Intent that I can call to open the screen where a user can select his ringtone?
P.s. It is my first post here, so if I published it to the wrong thread, please, help me to find the better one.
