I'm getting very noticeable fluctuations in audio levels while recording video of myself playing music using the native camera app. Anybody have any idea how to fix this? I don't see any options in the settings to set record levels or turn off the automatic gain control. Thanks.

Has any one tried to play with registry keys to improve some how sound in videos? While recording video, that sound is to weak and bitrate is to low l guess. l have recorded some video clips with Nokia N8 and sound is superb, and same situation and place l was recording video with HD7 and sound in video is so terrible.
Is there any way to control continuous auto-focus during video record, some hack perhaps to disable or enable continuous auto-focus..
This is official Reply from HTC on my email-that l have sent them.
"In regards to your enquiry kindly go to camera > settings > reset to default. Also please put the volume to the maximum. Then try to record a video not more than 5 meters away from what you are filming and please confirm if the issue still occurs."
So funny, bitrate is still an enigma
Yeah, I hate the auto-focus.
It's fine for 5 seconds but then it just starts blurring the video.
I was shooting some videos. I was very close to the speaker rack and hence the audio in the recording is fully distorted. Any hidden menu or setting that can control the recording volume?
Edit: API's do not support it. The issue has been reported since 2010, and Google or the OEM's have not addressed it which is a shame!

Hi, quick question. Is there no option to record video without sound after update to 6.0.1? Mute option in camera settings mutes only shutter sounds.

How to Turn off shutter sound in Lg v40thinq. Or is there any alternative app to do this. Thanks
Like most all camera apps, there is a setting for sound. Tap the gear/cog (settings) icon.

I noticed the shutter sound is only silenced if I change the sound setting for the device to silent.
