Which is best rom ?

Can you tell me which is the best stable rom for Games and multi tasking like Facebook and Messenger ?
With any version of android i don't matter, 5.0 , 6.0 or 7.0

You should try Androium 7
I used it more than six six months with no bug.

Send me link? coz yesterday i flash a MIUI Rom again and there is lot of bugs in it....jst like other MIUI Roms

use twrp recommended by the rom developer

Best rom upto my experience since many years is RESURRECTION REMIX. it's smooth like butter and performance like beast

All nougat 7 roms are so luggy on Facebook and Messenger guys, so i didn't like them due to that !

But rr remix 7.x is good bro. Not errors or lags. It's just marvelous

I think problems are in those apps itself. I'm on mm and still have lags and everything else works super smooth.

I recommend to use NITROGEN OS 8.1.0 cause it´s very stable.

Ive used almost every oreo rom I dont find many difference, every rom has own features but its quite similar its my personal opinion I find all of them almost same in performance and battery backup

Sorry I can´t say. In my device before santoni I was on Resurrection Remix 5.8.5, but with santoni I wasn´t satisfied with it. So I stayed at first on Miui Xiaomi.eu 9 but not really satisfied too. With new oreo roms I changed to NITROGEN OS 8.1.0. That´s my way on santoni device...

For Oreo: Its NOS
For Nougat: It's Dot.OS

You must try Invicta OS rom, it's very smooth and stable.
Before this I tried Nitrogen OS (stable) but after reboot finger print didn't work, rest were fine.
Go ahead and try Invicta OS.

Use cardinal aosp rom. Best performance, better battery backup in comparrision of other Oreo roms.

Cardinal aosp is the best Oreo ROM for redmi 4 santoni. Everything is good in this rom. It also supports OTA updates and thanks for the developer for making an awesome rom.

pixel experience is perfect for every occasionand it feels like i m having a high end smartphone like google pixel even much better than stock miui 9.5 rom and it is also a most stable rom ever.....

I had it but the rom have some problems , for example I can not find my downloaded files when connect it to th PC

install latest one with clean flash...
qnd dont forget to update ur twrp into version 3.2.1 as well...

I am using pixel experience on Redmi 4x it's is smooth but has many issues like on call you will hear all static and unclear voice is recovered

Well I am using Aosp extended Oreo. Although I am facing problems with root. But the smoothness and stability is good. You won't get the same battery life as you get on miui but it's actually not bad.
You can try it out. I am quite satisfied with it but it might affect you if you need root access.

There is Viper Os & Dot os both are pretty stable...

Dot Os
I prefer Dot Os. Bcoz it proide improvements regularly via ota.
Battery performance and stabilty is the best features in this rom.
Viper is also a good rom but dot os seems more stable. According to me.

The OTA are now closed because dot team is working only on oreo now.

Thts not a thing to worry...
It's nogut version is also very smooth and there is no need of improvements in it. (U can do it urself by xposed, substratum, kernel auditor) so its more stable and best for long term use.

Btw dot O will not be based on lineage. It is based on AOSP.
Nougat is completed now. I don't think we will get any new nougat builds of any ROM now...

Hi I just got a new Redmi 4x and finally managed to unlock it. What Custom ROMs are best in terms of battery life and stability? Oreo or otherwise?

I think best oreo roms are AOSP Extended 5.3 and Nitrogen OS

I'm aware of the latest Oreo roms and I know recently Xiaomi has released the source code for the santoni phone but still no rom is perfect, specially the Oreo ones, so I'm looking for the closest aosp/stock experience I can get with full compatibility, I think a nougat based rom will do fine but wich one?
I'm planning to install a rom, install greenify, have a good battery life, have more free space and still have full camera, gps and other compatibility with no issues.
Wich rom could you recommend me?

Lineage is not updated. Use latest ROMs like Nos and pe

I had this same question when I bought my Redmi 4X.
I tried a bunch of the custom roms available and now I can say that the best is 8.1.0 Nitrogen OS
It's my daily driver and I have no complains about it

Xiaomi.eu rom

I tried every rom on nougat and oreo roms, and can guarantee that this build of Lineageos 14.1 is the fastest and battery also good, using that with nethunter kernel with enabled autosmp and it gives me 3 days of usage with 7-9 hours of screen usage

Oreo roms seems a lot buggy and not smooth as 7.1.2 roms, amd in 7.1.2 roms i prefer this

Pixel experience

xiaomi.eu is by far more stable one.
In Oreo there a not 100% good roms yet, still on permissive SElinux.
And aosp Nougat based roms.. tried RR/AEX/LOS/crdroid and they are about perfect(rr is my prefered)

Go fr RR NOUGAT. No complaints here

Hello fellow members,
Need to upgrade from RR NOUGAT due to delayed WhatsApp and FB notification and battery drain issues. Not using custom kernel so far.
Please suggest oreo or pie ROM or a better NOUGAT ROM will do as well.
I focus on excellent battery life and daily driver thought (not many pesky bugs or such)

Use Pie Rom CAF based, best rom in terms of stability and battery backup. even not a single issue faced by me till now.
