TWRP decrypting fail, Zip flashing on unmounted data.

When I try to mount the encrypted internal memory partition in TWRP, it says password failed with every attempt. I have tried patterns, pins, passwords, default_password, but there is probably a bug. Does anybody know a fix?
I need this, I presume, to flash the Xposed installer zip. Or is it possible to flash this withouth mounting the encrypted memory?

Unable to Mount /data Huawei P9 L19c636

After installing twrp i tried flashing liuneage os but somehow messed up. Now i am getting the error Unable to Mount /data. I tried changing file format, repair with no luck. Thanks.
The data partition of the stock rom is different and not usable with lineage (I think because of encryption). You have to reformat it at first.
If TWRP can't mount the data partition, you need to flash the stock recovery, format data from there and then TWRP should be able to mount it again. The stock recovery image is somewhere in this forum.

Updated to OOS 9.0.4 from Oreo on Encrypted Rooted 3T :| , hoping to save SD Data

Hello guys,
I did a foolish update today without reading the forums first and updated to OOS 9.0.4 (Pie) from my previous stable OOS Oreo without removing encryption and backing up the Internal Storage data. I did take a backup of Boot, Data(excl storage) and System Image using TWRP 3.3.1 and copied it to my computer.
After the update, the OS refuses to decrypt the partition (Error: Decryption unsuccessful. The password you entered is correct, but unfortunately your data is corrupt. To resume, you need to factory reset the phone.) and TWRP fails to decrypt (Error: Decrypt took too long. Killing process, failed to decrypt data).
What else I tried:
1.) ADB restore the backup from the PC (as I can't transfer anything to the phones encrypted storage), but the TWRP backup is a bunch of files in a folder and ADB expects a single file in its command.
2.) Flash an older version of TWRP (3.2.3) and try decrypting (Error: Failed to decrypt data)
Is there any way I can restore the backed up files to get the phone back before the update and save my internal storage? (without a time stone or a quantum jump). I am thinking along the lines that I can somehow restore the backed up files into the respective partitions and make the decryption work, is it possible?
Worst case is there some way for me to backup the internal storage data with the encryption then go about downgrading the phone and restoring it and decrypting it back?
Any pointers would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks.

The only thing you might try is to flash OOS 9.0.4 firmware with 5.0.8 bootloader + keymaster.
If it still says the same, then sorry, but your data got corrupted and it's gone.

The only thing that will take your fear, is a backup of all important partitions (boot, system, data, vendor, efs, persist), stored externally, plus a copy of the internal storage content, also stored externally.
With that you should be able to restore everything to the exact point it is at right now, so you'll really need to mess up hard to not come out of basically any situation with those partitions saved.
As for your inital question:
Why don't you just update via ota if you wanna stay on stock?

Okay, so maybe first copying internal storage content to your PC and backup important apps would be sufficient then.
For apps you can use Titanium Backup (good, but makes troubles on android 10 at the moment), Swift Backup (recommend by many others) and more.
These backup solutions save apps and app data on your phone, so copy that to an external place, or you might lose them if you need to format data (which I'll suggest).
After your "backups" are made, I would wipe every partition in each slot, which you can also achieve with a "fastboot -w", and then also format data - the one where you need to type "yes" (which will also erase all internal storage content, but most probably will also solve your troubles).
From here there are tools like miflash or fastboot images to reflash stock (inform yourself about them, before you start all that!).
Be sure to flash the latest one right away, so you won't be in the need of "dirty" updates immediately again.
Afterwards, you can copy back the internal storage content and the folder of the backup app, and restore the previously saved apps.

I tried MiFlash, but without wipe anything, and it don`t upgrade version of system
But if I must, flash 2 slots A/B using MiFlash or one slot (A) is for system?
You can just download the zip file with version u want from the site below and flash it via TWRP making cache and dalvik cache wipes and changing slots at the end.

Just if u want. It's not necessary.
In october I updated mine this way but forgot to change the slot before rebooting to the system and realized that was in the old Android version. I just went to TWRP again and changed slot. After rebooting, the phone was in the updated Android One.

fastboot boot my_twrp_image_file.img
In TWRP made de wipes, flashed the ROM, changed slot and rebooted phone. It looks like it's normal.

decrypt without data lose

Hello everybody,
I flashed some rom from other forum which changed my vendor(i guess by twrp messages) and I forgot to flash disable force encryption zip, so now i have encrypted storage, no system and some different vendor which wasn't on my device by default. I have access on twrp and fastboot and all but how can I install system on encrypted device without losing my data(factory reset to decrypt storage) phone?
Edit: by data I mean internal storage not app and rom data. I already wiped them.
copy data to pc or in pendrive using otg then proceed
