It is simple if you can read or search, try Xperia Z Original Android Development and Xperia Z Android Development are the areas to look, in this order

Hi,
I just bought a new Sony Xperia Z Europe version (C6603) and I would wish to root this phone.
I have updated it to the latest available software which is 10.3.1.A.2.67.
I tried to search in the development thread and couldn't find one.
I found the Doomlord's rooting tool kit but I would also require the .ftf file (10.3.1.A.2.67) for the same firmware so that i could root it.
Could anyone provide me the Link for the same?
Hello does anyone know where the Australian ftf for 4.1.2 is if.you do know please reply and provide a link thanks. Sony Xperia sp

Your firmware version is displayed in Settings -> About Phone -> Build number.
This is the only way currently to root 4.4.4 on the Z: How to root 10.5.1.A.0.283 / 10.5.1.A.0.292

Hey greatly thanks. If I do it wrong or if any wrong thing happened, what possible damages can cause? I want my mobile rooted for some apps and I am totally newbie to how to root.
As long as you follow the guide, nothing bad should happen. At worst you might have to reflash stock firmware, but that's very unlikely.
