I have the Eonon GA6163F radio in a Mazda 3 2012.
Unfortunately, I partially paralyzed the radio by playing with updates. Unfortunately, Eonon no longer has the right software, so I need your help. Who has the right software for me?

So, I have a 2015 Sedona and a 2016 Optima. The HU are identical in both cars as is the UI, except the Optima runs AA. Is it possible to get AA loaded into the 2015 HU?? Is it a software update or something more involved? Dealer is obviously no help....

Are the Joying JY-UQ130 7" head units still viable? I know they are 1 GB/16 GB units, but I don't need much other than BT streaming and terrestrial radio with a customizable interface. I don't have the MCU version yet. My searches turned up nothing recent, but I did find some posts about having to upgrade/replace the screen to take 5.1.1. Is that still the case, or are these posts old info that no longer applies?

i have a built in head unit running on kitkat 4.4.2 in a brand new kia sportage 2017 model. I connected my phone to the head unit over bluetooth but it is impossible to see the title of the songs or any metadata playing. i called the manufacturer which had no idea and just gave me the explanation "this is like that" . I tried to install other music players (like poweramp) same problem.

It looks like the manufacturer has locked android ad2p bluetooth on purpose (for what reasons??).
Can someone point to a solution? I just don t see why technically that should be impossible and only see as reasonable explanation a limitation imposed by the manufacturer

Youre in the wrong forum, you dont have an MTCD/E unit - theres no "MTCD" or "MTCE" in front of your MCU number.

I have a 2014 Toyota Rav4 SUV with a basic Bluetooth radio setup.
I Bluetooth my Pixel 4XL to my radio, and when I play stuff in say YouTube Music, I can see the name of what is playing on the phone, on the head unit and I have full steering wheel control over the tracks...
OR I DID anyway... As of December 2020's update, its broken.
Now when I launch YouTube Music, the head unit simply says "Connected". I can hear the music over the radio but I have no steering wheel control and I cant see what's playing.
I tried with my Girlfriends and one of my other friends phones, works fine.
Seems to be something on the Pixel now, maybe some weird permissions? Tried everything including a full factory restore, update and re-root of Jan 2021.
Thoughts before I buy an Android radio! Prolly will anyway but for now, I'd like to get this working!
