I have tried most recent ROMS but they drain battery like crazy. Can anyone suggest a Android 10 ROM with a good battery life? Or any tips for preserving battery? Thanks.
I used pixel experience 10, arrowOS 11 and am now happily crdroid 11 and the battery consumption is normal. Guess you may need a battery replacement.

Hello,
As described in the Title the battery life on my Mi 8 is very poor. From the beginning it really wasnt that good and I could not understand how people could say it has really great battery life. Now as it gets older and the Battery degrades, it has become worse and i cannot even get trough the day.
AccuBattery says SOT of 3:20 and a battery capacity of 89%
Any suggestions how to improve Battery?
Thanks

Well, I had similar problems on MIUI. First try to flash a custom kernel which gives you some tweaks, performance and battery update. If the battery is still very bad go to AOSP ROMs
Which ROM has the best battery life?
I have been using crDROID and the batter life is comparable to the stock MIUI. I tried ArrowOS for a little bit and it seemed to have longer battery life. I didn't use ArrowOS long enough to find out if it did truly have better battery life.
What has been your experience?
Battery life depend on personal use. Which differences with SOT have you seen?
With CrDroid (default kernel) I have between 4-5 hours SOT
imho too short. I want to try sleepy kernel first before I decide another rom

Like I said above, I didn't use ArrowOS long enough to know. But what I do know is that with the screen off, I lose 1% every five-ish minutes with crDROID and MIUI. ArrowOS didn't do that with my limited experience. For SOT, crDROID estimates 7 hours. I believe its more like 5-6, similar to your experience.

I didn't test crDROID.
but I have used Arrowos for 3-6 month it's ok ROOM but sadly no MIUI camera support on it, the battery life is great at the start but get shorter after long use, (maybe because of google play Update??)
"projectsakura" is way better if you want MIUI camera.

Did not try crdroid but I flashed ArrowOS 12L and can't tell any battery drain. Installed it 5 days ago and still have 20 odd per cents of battery left, waiting for the first full charge. I do not use any google apps/ services (gapps or else).
Hi,
battery life for me it's very important: I own an S10e that has a very small accumulator.
I've used Orel6505 Pixel Experience with a good energy consuption and now I'm on PixelExtended. With the latest update the phone lasts more or less as the stock rom (max 3h of screen with almost all google services synched, 3 push emails and no social apps), not bad but I'm looking for something better.
My battery results still healty, about 80% of the full capacity.
Can someone share his/her experiences to let me know wich custom rom is the best for battery consumption?
Thanks to all
For me, DerpFest has good battery life but my phone has 2100mAh estimated battery capacity so don't take my word for it.
Have you tested this rom, and does the battery hold good on it?
can anybody please confirm no A13 custom rom has voLte working?
I prefer android aosp look and features. I want a rom that is battery friendly, im currently on pixel experience but im only getting 3h SOT, versus 5-6 with oxygen os. So im looking for a rom with good battery or a solution like magisk mod or something involving root like custom kernel etc.
My battery is at 80% health as per Accubattery.
I had better battery/performance relation with Paranoid Android
YAAP is good too, i need to test it with heavy tasks, but theres no noticeable overnight drain

yes, i just installed PA as per another users request from reddit, as i havent been on pa since like 2012 and it was one of my fav roms... Ive had yaap and the battery was rly good in the beggining then it was bad... tnx for the reply
So I recently unlocked my RN11's bootloader and installed Paranoid Android, cause the new MIUI 14 update was insufferable. But I'm seeing a little less battery backup on PA than MIUI, which I know why and makes sense, but I'm looking for a custom rom with better battery life, Confused between, Pixel Experience, Paranoid Android, Crdroid and other roms. Can anyone suggest me which rom is better for battery, (if you tested 3 or 4 roms on the device) Thank you
I have tested project elixir and pe plus and ive seen better battery live on projecf exlixir
