OnePlus 3/3TAndroid 7.1.2 Nougat available via Resurrection Remix 5.8.3
Resurrection Remix comes with a plethora of configurations, tweaking options, and a separate kernel or performance section as well. All these can be found in the Settings app. With these options, you get all the customization you will ever need in your Android system. Moreover, lineage OS is built over AOSP sources. So you get latest April 2017 Security Patch Level from Google as well. We have already seen Lineage OS 14.1 with the latest 7.1.1 Nougat for the two phones.

Hi guys!
I just want to share how to flash GSI on our realme XT RMX1921.
I've testing Phh's Quack (Android 10) and booted.
You maybe can test another GSI and then report it here.
I haven't testing another AOSP GSI or even OEM GSI like OOS / MIUI / H2OS.
I'll update if I was testing it and boot successfully.
If you have simpler way to install GSI then tell me tho.
Here is the steps :
1. Unlock your XT's bootloader and make sure you have installing adb fastboot on your Windows / Linux / Mac
2. Flash TWRP by thesprintster here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ecovery-unofficial-twrp-realme-5-pro-t3985459
3. Download LineageOS by thesprintster here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-xt/development/rom-lineageos-16-0-t3985463
4. Open LOS zip and take the boot.img
5. Download vbmeta by thesprintster here : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JwIpix76opSAToa-4X4YdT_SH5JUOxJQ
6. Download Phh's Quack here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...velopment/aosp-10-0-quack-phh-treble-t3992559 (select arm64-ab-gapps or arm64-ab-vanilla)
6a. You can download another GSIs like ExpressLuke GSIs here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-discussion/gsi-expressluke-built-gsis-t4003457 and make sure you download the ARM64 AB variant.
7. Boot to TWRP and backup your vendor image (or maybe all your vendor + system + boot + data if you want to back to ColorOS) incase to avoid any error
8. Wipe all except vendor
9. Back to bootloader / fastboot, put your vbmeta.img to your adb fastboot folder
10. Flash vbmeta.img by typing fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta.img
11. Boot to TWRP and copy Phh's Quack System image and LOS boot.img to your rXT
12. Flash boot and system image
13. Flash Gapps (if you download the vanilla variant) or if you want Google-less you can skip this
14. Reboot to system
15. Wait for booting aprrox. 4 minutes
Bug list on Phh's Quack GSI (and another Phh's based GSIs) tested on rXT 8/128 :
- Fingerprint not working (realme disable fingerprint since bootloader unlocked)
- VoLTE not working (global GSI bugs)
- Status bar on side (like battery and clock) got cropped and mis-positioned How to fix clock and battery logo : Go to Settings - Phh Treble Settings - Misc features - Set rounded corners diameter : 15 (or above 15, just fill with values you want)
- Bluetooth Media not working
- you tell?
Tested GSIs :
- Quack Phh-Treble arm64-ab-gapps v202 by phhusson
- Evolution-X 3.3 20191111 ARM64-AB by turbolukex5
Enjoy! :fingers-crossed:
You can correct status bar cropping by enabling developer options and selecting cutout.
I'll just add this here in case anyone needs it.
Also , if anyone finds workarounds for VoLTE, please feel free to post it.
Please find here my notes on the full configuration of a Redmi 7a.
I feel that these informations are generally very scattered, someone like me who didn't follow these topics for a few years may have a hard time getting back into the loop. I hope this guide will help others to quickly get a grip.
Note that I use Linux, so the Unlock part might be interesting for that. Windows users can still follow this guide but may need the official tool for the bootloader unlock and different drivers and tools to interact with the phone.
My configuration is rather intended to use a maximum of open source and securitized applications but with a door slightly open to applications requiring the Google framework.
WARNING : ALWAYS BACKUP, THIS GUIDE IS NOT INTENDED FOR UPDATES, BUT FOR A FULL FORMATTING SETUP.

Thanks, your concise guide helped me a lot, makes it really easy. Should be pinned somewhere at the top
Thank you Tupolef. I have found your instruction set very helpful and modified my 7A thanks to you.
Hi, thank you for this guide. I am a newbie at modding, and I don't have any idea how to have a Linux environment. Is there any chance I can send you my boot.img and ask you to patch it for me?
I can send you files I used but you need only python and the script from the link listed in the instructions. where to upload them?
Hi,
I hope this is helpful, I have updated the post regarding 3 points:
Magisk no longer offers the modules directly from the Magisk app, you have to download them yourself. So I put the links where they are needed.
Magisk since version 24.0 offers Zygisk, a feature that replaces the Riru module. LSPosed now offers a Zygisk version, no more need for Riru. I changed the links.
I added a section about network improvement, through DNS and Kernel settings with KTweak and Props. I really saw a difference.
There is still a problem, the fact that there is no update for the release that I had chosen at the beginning for the moment: https://github.com/TTTT55/Lineage-OTA
I may try to update to another release with the same bases to see but for the moment I stay on this version.

You can patch boot.img on Windows too.
Install python3 and 7-zip :
- https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z2107-x64.exe
Download a copy of Patcher-Oss :
Extract main.zip in a folder and put your boot.img in the same folder, where main.py is.
Open a command prompt or powershell under windows and go to this folder with the "cd" command. Then run the script main.py with the command :
Code:
python3 main.py boot.img

BTW, what launcher do you use guys? I just last week tried Kvaesitso and I find it perfect. If you haven't yet - try it.

Hi,
I have been using stock lineage OS for the past 2 days and it performs amazing. I have installed magisk and flashed the cherry kernel along with the adreno drivers. However, it seems like I have been experiencing lags and stutters in overall navigation since. Is this normal? Should I wait for a brief period before it performs optimal again?
FWIW: I haven't installed cherry kernel neither adreno drivers and I'm happy with stock lineage performance as it is.

I was quite curious on how it will perform with Cherry Kernel. I, too, was fully happy with stock lineage. Do you have any idea if the kernel will be back to stock if I re-flash the lineage ROM?
>>Do you have any idea if the kernel will be back to stock if I re-flash the lineage ROM?
I'm pretty sure you will reinstall the kernel and drivers in this case. Play with it
Personally, I've been on this configuration for 5 months and I have no lags.
I use this device to receive important notifications from many apps and as a backup hotspot. Sometimes some web browsing or audio stream with NewPipe or Spotify, but no games. I only have 2 widgets for calendar and tasks, and I always close the apps I don't use.
The only downside is that the Gcam apps are all very buggy or slow with this device, I ended up switching back to the LineageOs app. Apparently LineageOs 19 switches to Camera2, I will try to install it on the 18.1.

FWIW I tried few Gcams and stuck with MGC 8.1.101.345618084 but sluggish saving pictures but all functions seem to work. Also Kvaesitso works great with it as I have mentioned. This is my personal phone, I don't even have data just pay as you go as I have work phone but wanted something cheap but with good specs for its cost so I can tinker with and 7A was a great choice back then and still is.
First of all, thanks a lot for this guide!
One information + 2 questions:
1) Info: unlocking the bootloader is no longer possible on linux, even with recent patches to the XiaoMiToolV2. See the thread under that tool. I was able to do it on Windows however using the official Xiaomi tool.
2) Question 1: after I have flashed PBRP I cannot boot into it from fastboot. "fastboot boot ./recovery.img" sends the image and says "booting OKAY" but nothing happens, the phone remains in fastboot. I have to deconnect from the PC and go to PBRP manually by long pressing vol up + power. Has anyone come across this? I have tried several times, even going fully back to stock, installing PBRP anew etc., it is repeatable. Also, with my old Redmi 4A there is no such problem, I can boot into my custom recovery from fastboot. Does it have any repercussions?
3) Question 2: I'm trying to install crDroidAndroid-12.1-20220617-Mi439-v8.6.zip. I wipe and flash with PBRP, no errors. But it soft-bricks the device, only fastboot comes up afterward and I have to flash stock again... Does anyone here have experience with crDroidAndroid-12.1-20220617-Mi439-v8.6.zip? Thanks!
Just an update with respect to what I wrote here yesterday: today, following _almost_ this same process, I was able to start the phone with a custom ROM today. Only 2 differences:
-This time I formatted data in PBRP (not just wipe); not sure this matters however, since output always says "formatting data"?!
-This time I flashed crDroidAndroid-11.0-20220318-pine-v7.16.zip. I can really recommend this ROM by the way!

Thanks for the information about XiaoMiToolV2.
For that and the boot, I'll update in a little while, I plan to reinstall the device with the new LineageOs within the month.
I will update this post and answer you more extensively.

I keep getting error 7 / status 1 after the sideload.
How does one update the full system to android 11, like MSM tool or equivelant? Or is this only possible as OTA?
EDIT: @kronflux
Just wanted to mention that I did start from a clean flash (MSM Tool - but of course that is android 10), and subsequently re-unlocked the bootloader, but still no dice. I know I'm missing something I just can't figure what.
Usually I would upgrade to the same android version as the custom os (11 in this case) and I did try that once as well, and it still didn't work.
What is the legit way to update both slots to a new stock OS so that users can flash an upgraded custom OS?
I am still reading everything I can in this device forum, trying to figure out what I missed.
I finally managed to get this ROM flashed. Seems that, at least in my case, the ROM flash doesn't cause the slot to be switched after reboot. I need to basically do this:
(optional) - Boot to opposite desired slot.
Flash Recovery
Boot to recovery
Factory Reset
Flash Rom (sideload)
Reboot to bootloader
change slots
Reboot to bootloader again (ensure slot change)
(optional) Flash Recovery to new/current slot
(optional) Then Flash GApps (if allowed for the ROM, not this one as GApps are included)
Boot ROM from bootloader
This manual slot change is not something I see from any of the instructions on this entire device sub forum, even for other posted/supported ROMs. I know that usually the slot change is automatic, but in my case for some reason it is not.
Move...
I asked if this can be flashed over the earlier beta as-is ?
I did so earlier with the beta using TWRP, but it was originally installed on A10.
I don't have any issues with sideloading any rom but this one i keep getting "adb: failed to read line: no error"

Slot logic, I guess.
It was b slot on the old roms because we started out on A as the active partition, so maybe we just have to switch to the inactive slot when flashing.
Realized this a couple nights ago, but my device went into kernel panic anyway so I couldn't really verify.
Thank you.

No, this has to be installed over A11.
This rom depends on the updated kernel, so flashing over a new version of the ROM won't just work.

I downloaded too much adb, I changed the version, it didn't work no matter what I did. Qualcomm went all the way to crushdumb mode.
The operation was not successful. I am using Android 11.
My device Oneplus n10 5G BE86AA
I tried 10-15 times but all failed. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out and have had this problem.
I'm using google translate, it may be misspelling.
For everyonw that have problems by sideloading. I recommend to use exactly the recovery they provide there, don't even thing using twrp or orange fox, because those sideload are just broken.
also, the standard fastboot drivers include x86 adb, that would not work correctly always.

download this, and use adb sideload rom.zip exactly with those tools. for me, it was the single thing that did worked.
Later Edit: needed to change the A/B Slot

Well, most people are using gsi Roms on this phone. I am running Crdoid android 13 April 2023 build and security patch on my nord n10 5g with magisk and 5 volte/vo5g both working
Im quite liking this rom, but i keep getting a QUALCOMM CrashDump Mode a bit after plugging it in to charge at night... it sticks in this mode until i hard reset, then its fine. The lack of auto-reboot really sucks since i cant trust this phone as an alarm right now.
Also, this doesnt happen every time i plug it in... seems to be about every other night so far, might be related to how low the battery gets, not sure.
Running this on a BE2026 model on Cricket (ATT network), also have done some customization installing magisk and a few modules... im pretty sure the first crash was before i had all the modules installed, but ill be trying to disable some of them and see if it helps at all. its hard to test something when there's not an easy way to trigger it...
There is an error included too, been trying to decrypt it but not having a lot of luck:
Code:
EX:kernel:0x0:SNS_SEE_P_1:0x1000000e:PC=0xf02baadc:LR=0xf0215f78
subsys_err_fatal_intr_handlersubsys-restart: Resetting the SoC - adsp crashed.
subsys_unregister
Another SERIOUS issue I discovered today - I cant disable wireless emergency alerts. The settings app will crash when I try to open the settings for it, and trying to get to it from the messages app does nothing. It seems there's no way to turn off these ridiculously loud amber alterts.

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

- As you know build is free but building ROM needs server and in order to maintain the source, we need High-End Servers that are generally very expensive and need to be renewed every single month and as a student its quite difficult. To meet with our technical expenses, a cup of coffee, and the efforts of the developers we need your monetary support!

i tried my yubikey nfc on yubico authenticator and it works
I've been trying it for 3 days and so far it is one of the fastest and most stabe ROMS I've installed. I just have a few things that are a little annoying:
When I installed the first time, there were two games installed by Redmi, I could uninstall them so it was not a big deal yet it is bloat but I will blame Google or Xiaomi
Enabling always on display will completely break deep sleep, if I enable it I get a huge stanby battery drain and 0% deep sleep. When disable, it behaves normally but it happens on every ROM I've tried so maybe it is a kernel thingy
So far I think it is really daily usable

I didn't find any pre-installed games
i found 3 bugs while using the rom :
1-when using 60 fps the UI is so laggy, opening and switching between apps is so slow so i have to use 90 fps to have a smooth ui
2-there is a screen flicker when using dark mode i noticed it in many apps like dialer , telegram , messenger so i had to turn dark mod off
3- after switching to white mode i can not change the UI color anymore i am stuck with the green color i was using before
also i am missing the standard wifi and data tiles in QS i hope more tiles to be added in the QS menu

1. Blame xiaomi for this. The problem are related to the kernel itself.
2. Screen flickering is a kernel related too. I'm using PixelPlusUI and experiencing this too. Even on the stock MIUI, this is happening too.
3. This one makes more sense to be reported to the developer.
Hope it helps.
A few questions:
1. Does this ROM support unlimited google photos storage?
2. Does it support fast charging like the original MIUI?
3. Dialer announces call record?
@sourav24071999
does this rom has unlimited google photos?
