Die heb je toch meegekregen op CD-Rom toen je hem kocht?
Nee, ik heb mijn telefoon uit engeland laten komen.
Dus de nederlandse rom en cd zit er niet bij.
Waarom wil je de nederlandse rom dan?
As long as there is no CID unlock and/or Hard/Soft SPL for the Jade you can't use any other then the original ROM unfortunately.
Patience is the word..

Iedere toestel heeft een CID code. Deze code zorgt ervoor dat je niet een ROM kan installeren van een andere taal omdat het wettelijk eigenlijk niet is toegestaan. Mocht je dat wel willen moet je vaak deze site in de gaten houden. Er komt een unlocktool van op zijn tijd.

I own a Samsung S3 LTE running Carbon ROM (kitkat 4.4)
But my battery is draining pretty fast (100-60 in 2 hours with moderate use, while i'm using an 4500 mAh battery)
So i want to flash a custom kernel, anyone know if there are any AOSP based kernels for the i9305, i found some but they we're only for the S3, and not the LTE version..

there are 2 kernels you can choose of boeffla kernel here or agni kernel here

carbon rom is a cm based rom so i think im sure these kernels are for cm based roms not only cm11 itself
you have a i9305 lte right?

Yeah that's what i thought too but someone else told me it was an AOSP based rom so i had to search for an AOSP based kernel.

he is right, because all cm based roms are actually aosp, meaning ''android open source project'' and these kernels are also aosp/cm based

in recovery, do wipe cache partition and in advanced wipe dalvik cache and reboot, if it does not help, then reflash rom with full wipe right after that flash the kernel and then gapps, it should work
which one of the kernels are you using look in the thread of it for same issue and answers of others

I had to reflash the rom and kernel, and it worked, thanks for you help. only problem is that the boeffla kernel seems to be draining the battery faster than the carbon stock kernel. Or do i have to calibrate the battery first?'

you could try calibrate, but i doubt this will solve the draining problem. boeflla kernel should come with boeffla config app v2, try some different settings for the kernel in config app, maybe the kernel needs to settle for a while..
im using also boeffla kernel atm. but mine is for sammy (TW) based roms and im happy with the battery life that i got now. Im easily getting a day (24 hours) out of the battery after having fully charged and sometimes even longer.
my settings in B. config app, if its gonna help you:
governor = pegasusq
governor profile = pegasusq-speedmod
ext4 tweaks = ON
GPU freq. profile = 160/266/350/440/533 (default)
system tweaks = boeffla tweaks (enabled)
before sammy rom, i was on aosp/LiquidSmooth rom and imo it has the most awesome battery life on stock kernel amongst all the aosp roms for i9305, sometimes i got 2 days on screen, perhaps you should try another cm based rom like LS or Archidroid. I think the stock kernels of those two are build with sabermod toolchain, which is great

Oh ik zag net dat je gewoon nederlands ben haha. Ik heb tussen m'n apps geen boeffla app staan.. Denk dan inderdaad dat ik beter een andere ROM kan flashen, van LS en Archidroid, welke raad jij aan?

je kunt als t goed is in de playstore the boeffla app downloaden, maar ik kan m ook voor je uploaden hier als je wilt?
als je toch wilt overstappe op een ander rom dan raad ik LS aan, ik heb t 2 a 3 maanden gebruikt en had er nooit problemen mee, alleen de kleine bugs hier en daar maar dat heb je met alle aosp roms. Archidroid is trouwens ook een goeie, kijk maar zelf wat t beste is voor jou
Tip: in je wifi instellingen, zet ''scannen altijd toestaan'' uit in elke rom, want dat is ook een van de dingen die je batterij opvreet

Nee dankje heb net de app al gedownload, en jou instellingen ingevoerd. Ik ga het nu even aankijken en anders download ik LS. In ieder geval heel veel bedankt voor je hulp jongen!

Die kernel instelling haalde weinig uit dus toch maar LS geflashed, werkt perfect en batterij is ook goed! bedankt maat.
Nog ff een vraagje, als ik me telefoon uitzet om hem snel op te laden blijft die op een laadscherm hangen (lege batterij met zo´n laadicoontje) heb jij enig idee hoe ik dat kan veranderen of hoe dit komt?

Nee, voordat dat die gevuld wordt zie je toch altijd dat die heel eventjes de batterij moet laden ofzo, dat heb ik constant zegmaar. Ik kan niet zien op hoeveel procent die zit en ik kan hem ook niet aandoen, dan moet ik eerst de batterij eruit halen en dan opnieuw starten

hmm raar, zoiets had ik niet meegemaakt. dus telefoon uit en op lader, kun je niet aanzetten door gewoon aan/uit knop ingedrukt te houden?
heb je de rom met een full wipe geinstalleerd of heb je alleen een wipe data factory reset gedaan? en hoe was t na de installatie..had je force close van apss enz.?
gebruik je stock kernel van LS of een andere kernel?

Nou kijk het rare is, is dat ik het met Carbon ROM ook al had, en volgens mij met omnirom ook, het kwam uit het niets, en jaa ik heb een full wipe gedaan. Nee geen force close of iets. Alleen kan die nog maar amper opladen wat heel erg irritant is

Jah ik begrijp dat, maar misschien is t een algemeen probleem tussen de aosp roms, ik had er geen last van destijds. Als t goed is zou die m ook snel moeten laden wanneer die gewoon aanstaat. kijk ff in de thread van LS of vraag je vragen daar eventueel voor antwoorden gerelateerd met jou probleem, ik kan je hiermee helaas niet verder helpen. het kan zijn dat t een cm bug is, en als dat t geval is dan zal t ook in elke aosp rom die gebaseerd is op cm voorkomen, want wanneer een rom zoals LS, carbon rom of Archidroid word geupdate dan krijg die ook meteen al de veranderingen van cm ook mee snap je, rapporteer t gewoon in LS thread en noem daarbij ook de naam van de developer zodat hij je klacht meteen kan zien. voorbeeld @SamC95
