Anybody having mic not working problem??
Im facing serious issue with mic even earphone/bluetooth mics are not working..
I tried many fastboot rom still not working..
Im facing such problems after updating to miui 12.
At starting it was working fine but aftr a week mic started to glitch which can be solved after restart but it wont anymore.
I been using almost 3 month now without mic

i have experienced strange mic problem,
i have flashed latest stock firmware with xperia companion; everything works good except for the mic and many have complaint that in call they can't hear me properly.
but then i installed cm 12.1 and the mic works normal. For now im using cm 12.1 as my daily driver.
i want to roll back to stock rom but due to this microphone problem im stuck with this cyanogenmod.
if anyone have any suggested fix for this or know what is wrong with my mic please help!
**and yeah i have even replaced my mic to a new one as to be sure that its not a hardware problem, so now i guess its a software problem.

Today i ran into a problem !!!.. i had ordered a new pair of earphones the focal sparks ..but when i tried to call i came to notice that the mic wasnt working but when i used it with asus andeoid devices blackberyy and iphones it was working fine...then i tried it on a note 5 pro even with that it wasnt working...what could be the issue here and is there any fix for it? Even in the recorder or any app its not working ...
Hi i'm having a problem with my huawei p20 pro.... When i connect to a Bluetooth device or sometimes even suddenly my phone's microphone just stops working and i have to restart the phone to get it to work, I have been facing this problem since 4 month now.... Is it because of an update? , is anyone facing similar problems or is it just me?
Hi, I solved the reboot and sound problems with the 3 patches, but the problem with the microphone persists.
After some hours the mic stops working. In a call nobody ears me and cannot send voice commands. I have to reboot the phone to solve it.
Do you know any workaround for that?
Flash the indian ROM and you won't have sound issues
I made sure that Google Assistant is disabled, then removed the Audio Compatibility Patch from Magisk, rebooted in TWRP and then reinstalled it, however I selected to remove notification library effect instead of volume lister as per Abaddon's post here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79845301&postcount=24 The problem usually happened when I would connect my phone to my headunit to use Android Auto. Haven't had issues in 3 days and I have been using it a lot. I do call myself from time to time just to make sure its working lol. Hopefully there is a real fix for it soon.
Edit: well it lasted 4 days and today I had to reboot again since the mic was not working.
So i google it alot and there is no solution for this yet.
Did any1 face this issue before can help me how to fix this issue? I think it's not hardware issue cause after reboot it's randomly work somehow, and just stop working few mins later.
