That's a great idea my friend. I will close this thread shortly, and move all posts to the already existing thread.

This is the thread to ask any questions about my ROM.
I made this thread in response to Svetius's PM to all RD's and RC's. Please see the message below.
I will no longer answer any questions about my ROM in the original thread. That is there for purely development posts. Any questions about flashing etc need to be here.
Dear RDs (and RCs!),
Sorry for the mass PM.
Lately we know a lot of you are getting annoyed by new users asking questions, and spamming development threads with these. We've listened, and we think we've worked out a way to help, but we'll need your assistance to make this work!
If you want users to be able to ask questions for your ROM, kernel, or other development, we would like to suggest you create a thread in the Q&A, Help and Troubleshooting forum for your device, using the same name as your main thread with perhaps a "[Q&A]" tag to preface the title, and link to this visibly in the first post of your development thread with a message like "For help, assistance, or if you have a question, use the (link)Help and Troubleshooting thread(/link)".
Then, it's up to you whether you want to spend time in the questions thread or if you want other XDA members to help to answer questions. Again, this is totally optional, but it might help in a big way to keep ROM threads focused and in fact might improve overall post quality across XDA, as most new members come to the site for help with a development work they've installed. If these questions annoy you, by directing them to another thread, we should help to preserve development threads free of silly repeat questions.
We are looking at ways to automate this for the future, but for now, it's something we'd like to try.
Want to discuss this further with us? Check out this thread in the Recognized Developer discussion forum.
Thanks for developing!
P.S. Recognized Contributors: you are copied on this message to keep you in the loop. A lot of you already help answer questions on XDA, and for that we are grateful. If you're able, please keep an eye out for sprouting Q&A threads tied to works of development (as per this PM) so that you can assist the OP in answering questions. Thanks!

V1.1.0 Released.
Please read changelog in the Dev thread and installation instructions.
Post any general questions here, but any dev related posts in the dev thread.
Currently I am looking at trying to get the new bootsplash to show. I changed from the boring xperia screen to a custom one, but it wont show.
Also, I want to find a way to clear data of the home screen / app drawer so that the empty placeholders do not show on a fresh install.

I think you will have to edit the launcher apk for that.

I thought that, any ideas of what to edit? I could just take the home.apk from a generic rom, but i like getting my fingers into it if you know what i mean...its all a learnign curve..

No sorry don't know what to edit. And since my phone is still in repair I can't even try out some stuff either.
You could try having a look in the other Xperia forums. Maybe someone asked that already once

OK, I have just got home after a weekend away with my scouts.
Has anyone still got any bugs with the home button on V1.3.0 or V1.3.1? As hard as I try I cannot reproduce that bug, it works fine for me, both on a clean install and after just flashing over v1.2.0
I HAVE MADE THIS THREAD SO THAT XZ USERS CAN TELL WHICH ROM WORKED FINE WITHTHIER LOCKED BOOTLOADERS:angel:

Not sure of the point of this thread, all ROMS under Android Development Section that state and give you instructions about locked boot loaders will work.

There's no point of creating such threads. ROMs are available in Development section with proper instructions given that, whether it will work on Locked/Unlocked bootloader. You should follow that.
And also XDA Discourages any such discussions, which ROM is best or which work best on any particular devices. The point of this forum is try out different ROMs available in the development section.
Check out the development section, browse different ROM threads and read users reviews, rather posting this type of thread.
Requesting MOD to close it. :good:

Threads of this nature belong in the Help section, not Development. Please read the sticky titled "Rules for Posting in Develpoment" before posting in there again.
THREAD MOVED
What is the difference in all the RR ROMs. I'm trying to find one to run. I want one that works with themes and development is kept up on it. I have been reading through the threads of each one and can't really see the difference. Thanks in advance for the advice.
Instead of creating a new thread, you should have continued this one -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3607169
Oh sorry I looked all over and didn't see this. Can someone close this thread please

Hey guys, I don't know if I can open this kind of thread neither if there is some kind of rule to do this.
But, I'm trying to build Oreo from source and I'm opening this thread to share experiences and collect some tips from other users that surely are trying this too. I'm kinda newbie on ROM building so some change of tries and fails would be helpful.
I know that Santosh M and @tdukazudon are trying this too.
Since I'm trying this right now, I'll put some errors and logs in the next posts to see if this can help anyone or help me
Cheers
