It will on mine. I can even switch so the "main" screen is the front, though that seems kind of pointless.

Interesting, I wouldn't have thought to check that. I guess the size of your screen caps vs. mine could have been a clue.

move it just a little to the right... now it's against a white background...
and here it is again:
This image is from earlier today... no marks!!
Yes , and may God have mercy on its soul.
Seriously though - I dunno. It doesnt look good, thats for sure. Are you pressing it hard when taking the pics ? Have you tried with the back cover off ? Did you try upgrading the camera software ?
In the camera app, try to put the white balance to auto and y menu, advanced, second page put flicker adjustment to auto.
Regards.
yeah actually those pics were taken with the camera cover off except the one earlier that day when it was working fine.
This morning I woke up, tried using my camera again, and it was back to normal!
very strange...
dude youe camera is better than my kaiser's camera
dont worry about it, try taking the cover of the battery and take some shots (compare difference)... the plastic protectant lens (external) is pretty rubbish so any scratch even if tiny will cause problems
nb. nice celing mobile

I have the same problem when looking at the LCD, but it doesn't show up in the picture itself. I don't know its very weird. Its like your 2nd and 3rd picture.

Huawei 360 Camera owners

When you disable the watermark/logo in settings, do you still have a white foggy area above the phone? See photo. I am not sure if this is the just to use as a contrasting background for the black font watermark or if my camera is faulty. However surely if you remove the watermark in settings then the white fog should be removed too as it is not needed anymore?
So do I have a problem or is it normal with all the cameras?

Yes, mine does too. Seems to be Huaweis way of hiding the camera / phone from the shot
Is there any way of doing long exposure shot with this camera?
Huawei specs says that camera has up to 30sec exposure
Hello, everywhere is written that huawei cv60 360 camera is shooting 2k video, but in app written 1920x960 resolution, and this is not 2 k resolution, any thoughts ?

Not that I know of, the software would need to support it and it doesn't appear to at the moment.
Where is 2 k resolution?

In summary 1920x960 = 1843200 = 2K :cyclops: just marketing, nothing personal
This white overlay thing on the bottom of the 360 camera (white beneath huawei logo when on) is kind of annoying. Is there anyway this could be remove view editing the APK file.

Problems with camera focus

Hey,
my wife is expecting a baby, so I decided to invest in a good mobile camera. Having read lots of positive reviews about p30 pro camera I decided to go for it. However, so far I have mixed feelings about it - pics at times are stunning, and other times I can't set focus settings right.
Here are some pics to illustrate the problem.

I got this result first time with my Xperia xz premium.
IS there any way to block focus so that it does not try to set either on the face or the background, but both of these at the same time?
Pics are not showing but you might want to turn off AI since it's probably going into portrait mode.

Well, it's not the case. AI doesn't change a thing. Unfortunately for some reason pics don't show, and I'm not allowed to post links as I'm under 10 posts. If you quote my original post l, there you can find the urls. I know it's a bother, but I'd appreciate if you could have a look

Yes, AI change some things in a photo.
In portraid mode blur background.
Some of the pics were taken in the auto mode with disabled ai, others in the pro mode. The outcome is as in the pics - a random thing

thats glare from the camera, if you clean the lens horizontally or vertically, thats can occur...you need to clean the lens with circular movements...
try it and open the camera and point to some light source and see what direction the glare goes, if you do circular moves like a "O" around the cameras that could be much less with that kind of wipe.

Question What's the black rectangle below the LED flash ?

Has anyone figured what's the function of the blacked out rectangle next to the back cameras, and below the LED flash ? Is it a sensor of some kind, or is it just an athestic addition for looks ? there is no mention of it anywhere.
Xiaomi doesn't usually put fake sensors for looks like other really cheap brands, so I'm guessing it serves a specific function.
Here's a picture to show which part I mean:

It seems to be a laser focus module and anti-flicker sensor.

Where did you get that information ? Any sources I can quote ?
In the teardown videos I saw on youtube there seems to be nothing there, which is weird.

It is a back light sensor. Xiaomi mention about 360 light sensor. You can check this by tapping kernel version and entering into test mode
What is that RED DOT between FLASH and RECTANGLE
Seems to be for decoration purposes.
