This update make me enter in a bootloop, I flash it from the settings.
I use magisk 18.1 and nano gapps, everything works perfectly fine when I downgrade to the previous version.

For flash rom, you will need full wipe (data, system, cache,dalvik cache), no need chosen format.
Data (photo, misic, video,....) in internal sd not lost.

Hi! Rom is amazing! Thank for your work. Just asking, I tried to setup long press home button to get the assistant working, but any trigger on the long press settings is not working. The other triggers on other buttons work fine, like long press on recents button, or long press on back button, but the long press on home button does nothing.
Any way to solve this? By now I just set up the assistant on long press on recents button, but im used to home button...

How are you using your phone? Battery life for me is amazing. I can either get close to 3 days minimal use, or 6-8 SOT daily and still have ~ 11% close to midnight.

Don't know, Yesterday I lost 20% in 2 hours with display off, I have 2 possibile reasons:
1 I see that sometimes Google app crash
2 I have a second sim disable in this moment

I have dropped support for all pie ROM's and only dedicating my time to this ROM . It's not like i have too much motivation . But i couldn't wait to finnally settle to android 10. So , here we go I'm only here .

I can't get Gapps to run. I downloaded your linked Version. Flashing CrDroid 6.0 (and Magisk 20.0) works fine, but when I try to flash Gapps (open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20190928-BETA) it always says
"Updater process ended with ERROR: 20
Error installing ZIP file '/sdcard/open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20190928-BETA.zip' "
It tells me my Android Rom is incompatible: "This GApps pkg is for Android 10.0.x ONLY Please download the correct version for your ROM: 10.0.0 (SDK 28)"

Thanks, mounting System and Vendor first worked perfectly. Even though I used a pico package of Gapps.

Does not change the battery mode in the status bar. It is always the default and it is not possible to display the percentage of charge.

Very good rom, but there are two problems:
- ANX Camera works just partly (Pro, Video, More). The same problem exists in PE and PalladiumOS;
- there is no possibility to add fingerprint; fingerprint sensor doesn't appear during process of adding fingerprint.

Yes, I had the same problem with battery and ANX Camera worked just partly, as well. The rest is excellent. I hope that it will be fixed, because I like this rom.

ANX Camera still doesn't work on V2.0-R Stout

it has an excellent battery life, the best I've tried so far, as a camera I use PXv8.1_GCam-v1.2 which I find exceptional, I hope it becomes official. Good job

It is nice to read the positive reviews about this ROM.. also about the camera, which is very important to me too.
So I haven't tried a non-MIUI Rom on my Mi9 yet.. lately relying on xiaomi.eu - and the beta ROMs are great.
What I want to ask, should I try this ROM out, what is the case going back to MIUI ROMs with regards to Widevine? Is L1 lost?
And anything else I need to consider that is irreversible after making the jump to AOSP?

Don't flash 48MPFix. It's not needed and not recomended. The fix is included in the patch.
I haven't found an option for "simple icons", but I like default icons, so it's not big deal for me.

You can easily go back to xiaomi.eu. I jump from it to custom roms and back without any problems. Just make full backup with TWRP. Additionally make backup of persist.img just in a case. If it's destroyed you will loose L1. So, it's good to have copy of the image. You can also easily move all your apps, contacts and messages with Migrate. I use it all the time and I can recomend it.

I'm on latest MIUI Global firmware: 12.5.1
Above it is written that it's required MIUI 12.5.0.4
Is it ok to flash this ROM on latest MIUI Global 12.5.1? Nowadays it's not so easy and safe to rollback to a previous Global version, so if possible I would flash directly on 12.5.1...

I also formatted data partition cuz of encrypted partition on miui
Then reboot and wait 5 min to boot

I tried this ROM too, but I have problems connecting und staying to Wi-Fi. Is this a Android 12 thing because on 11 I have no problems

Clean flash recommended
Always make a nandroid backup, be safe.

Excellent Rom so far! Great battery, very smooth and light.
The best between other android 12 Roms with Flame Gapps for me!
Only a minor problem with the calendar but i assume if I update to new google calendar it will be fixed.

I can see all my past reminders but I cant add any new events or reminders. i downloaded the app simple calendar and it works with that so I guess its something with the Gapps i think... I will try again with another gapps package and let you know.
Other than that I love the Rom! Great job!

Does anybody experienced low brightness on this ROM? My friend's RN 7 MIUI display is about twice brighter.

But if you want, you can use OrangeFox Recovery instead of TWRP.
