Is there any Gcam that is available for Redmi 9T? Or like other ports thats working for Gcam.
Thanks in advance
Hypercam or GcamFusePro should work well. Search on telegram.

As I know, this one is best. Only recording at 4K nor working, but on custom rom it should. We can change lenses from wide to ultra wide and macro.

my decision to unlock bootloader hinges on how great gcam will be on a Redmi 9T.
So is it really good?
i can't find ultra wide option in my Gcam, anyone can help? i don't understand find hypercam or anything else

This Gcam version has Ultrawide mode and is stable for Redmi 9T (Lime)
I am currently using this version(MGC_8.1.101_A9_PV0n_Eng.apk), it seems to be working pretty good
And it is "able to detect all my camera modules" as of now and therefore i "can take macro & ultrawide shots"
however i was not able to find "no dedicated macro or ultrawide modes"
I can't say how well it compares to other gcam versions listed here, but it is definitely works and can use all sensors
Hope it helps

Hi guys you can try the GCam for redmi note 9s since they use the same ultra wide camera and slightly different main camera(redmi 9t uses Samsung gm1 and redmi note 9s uses gm2), and there is already a config file for redmi note 9s.

I am about to purchase this phone, but counting on the use of GCAM because the native of these Chinese does not always do a good job, today I saw that the parrot has released an AWB support version for samsung sensors present on this phone. Can you post some samples against the native? Configs it's activate hdr+ and use 32 frames in advanced settings and setting the pixel awb mod to Samgun GW1
For a first test, everything is working except the slow motion. It forces closing.
Can't install it (global rom)
Edit : work after uninstall gcam 6.1...
- can't select more than 26 frames HDR+ enhanced (with more, no photo)
- can't use "sabre" (crash)
- you can select awb Samsung but I can't see better quality with it.
Finally, I prefer 6.1 gcam at this time

Can you show some samples of this two version of gcam and the native, it's good to our see the results and compare.
Here you go
1st photos of each is the gcam, 2nd is stock
Gcam has hdr enhanced
Stock is aldo hdr
I find the gcam to produce much more accurate colours to what i see in real life. And has better depth. Whereas the stock tries to smooth out everything
The problem with Gcam is that currently it works only for the main camera and the front one...

Check OP has been updated. You might want to try yourself as others have not replied.
I just checked the BSG version. Main and front lens are mostly not better with GCam. Especially 108 mp mode wipers the floor with anything GCam does in good light. Also dynamic range is better on stock camera. In some cases GCam has better detail than the 12 mp pics from stock, but this is unreliable.
The one thing GCam ROCKS is with the ultra wide lens. MUCH more detail. A completely different outcome. This alone will let me keep GCam as a secondary camera app.
Tele lenses are unavailable. Unsurprisingly so, because not even stock pro cam can access them. Sad. Imagine the 3x cam being as improved as the ultra wide ...

There are no differences, especially with Exynos for now. Samsung on the Snapdragon model allows telephoto to be used, but only with certain Samsung package names. Ruler and Scan3d are real Samsung apps that GCam is pretending to be in order to access the two telephotos.
However, for Exynos, Samsung still doesn't allow access of the telephotos via this method, so you don't need to use the Samsung package names as all of them will work the same.

I thoroughly confirm that this version of GCAM manages to pull out visibly better quality and more detail from the Ultra wide lenses. Both in normal mode and night mode as well.
HRD+ (enabled trough the settings) Also gives pretty good result. However the GCAM app doesn't fix up the occasional fish-eye distortion that comes with Ultra wide lenses. (fixable easily is post) While the Samsung cam does it by default.

I haven't ebanbled any config at all. Straight up as it is. I only enabled HDR+ control, which makes a an extra HDR button to appear in the on screen camera controls (little down looking arrow on of screen)
Regardless of hdr. I only used the ultrawide camera a few times. I'm pretty satisfied with the original camera for all other modes.
If a good photos is not too well colored or exposed by default, I use Snapseed to adjust it to my likings. Only takes 10-15 extra seconds.

Hi all,
New account here (couldn't log to my old one but had to share)
I'm currently using a Redmi Note 10 5G
Stock on Miui 12.5.1 Global Stable.
MTSLCam_V7.1
With THIS Gcam : https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-mtsl/f/dl7/
I'm using the SNAP version (but Google Should also work fine)
I had to modify a few fields in the Developer Settings to have "everything" (that I tested) work.
Will upload the XML later (with just these modifications, no color or noise things done)
But if you want to try right now you should apply these changes in the developer settings.
Untick :
camcorder.covec_video
-> This is for video recording and if i remember correctly timelapse / slowmotion
Untick :
camera.cuttle.glpreview
zsl_ns
-> This is for night mode crashes
I'm not a developper I just gathered some information from the different telegram groups.
Enjoy !

I asked how to have the timelapse for Redmi note 10 5G device but it seems that it cannot pass on our device. I searched and I found a paid app on play store which does intervalometer and in addition takes control of GCAM ;-) it costs a little more than 1€ and I no longer worry about finding a solution. (it works perfectly for all gcam modes).
